"With one less to drag us down, we'll have to be even more cautious dealing with the Ying Snake." Qing Meng said.

"Rest assured, Honored Guest, we will be more vigilant from now on, ensuring that none of you waste any energy on these demonic creatures." Silver Cloud Driver, Hu Xu, said.

"We should conserve our Holy Power, not rely too much on others." Xiao Chong said nonchalantly.

Dealing with the Ying Snake, half of their group would inevitably be lost. The journey itself was perilous; even their Master had to face the Ying Snake with extreme caution. How many of their less skilled fellow disciples could survive the fangs of the Ying Snake?

The battle strength of the Emperor Mechas was formidable. Some of the Mechas were as strong as the disciples of the Holy Sect. Advancing and slaughtering along the way, they finally broke through the toxic mist and Poison Mountain to reach the center of the islands.

The center of the islands was a volcanic island!

The toxic mist not only had the power to corrode space but also eroded the surrounding terrain.

The once dormant volcano in the center of the islands had now turned into a mountain spewing toxic fire and sulfur smoke...

Fortunately, this time the human forces consisted mostly of Mechas and Mechanical Beasts. Their dense metal armor could block some of the toxins, otherwise, many would have perished here.

In fact, there was a town on the northern side of the islands.

But shortly after the toxic mist enveloped the area, the town showed no signs of life. When some detection instruments were sent in, they couldn't even find a single corpse.

Initially, people thought the townsfolk had been poisoned to death.

However, as the Emperor Mechas ventured further, they were shocked to find the rim of the volcano piled with human bones!!

Above the volcanic crater hung a massive web-like structure, impervious to the venomous fire and sulfur smoke spewing forth.

On this web, tens of thousands of people hung like sesame seeds, roasted by the volcano like a giant oven!

These people were already dead, their bodies dried out by the heat, hanging like densely packed jerky!

Below the crater, something resembling water weeds wriggled, followed by clusters of heads, each with its own awareness...

They jostled to stick their heads out of the crater, reaching to pick off and eat the human jerky stuck to the giant web.

Hundreds of snake heads, brutal and terrifying, swallowed humans in one bite, chewing the flesh before spitting out the nutrient-depleted bones at the rim of the volcano!

"Emperor Alliance, hear my command, all units, attack!" Hu Xu was so angry his voice trembled. He raised his pulse lance high and shouted.

The Ying Snake, cold-blooded and greedy, had a significant part of its body hidden within the volcano.

First to engage were the Emperor Mechas, a total of eleven combat Mechas. Some ran at the volcano's base, some used thrusters to charge, while others flew and fired upon the thousand-headed snake at the crater!

The Purple Owl was the most agile, appearing first above the crater.

A vast number of human compatriots hung on the snake web like raisins. The driver of the Purple Owl, his eyes red with fury, slammed the missile launch button with both hands!

Unfolding its purple wings, seventy-seven cannon barrels extended simultaneously, each one charging with intense thermal energy, forming beams of purple light that blasted towards the Ying Snake in the crater!!

The volcanic rock around the crater was shattered, and the powerful laser cannons even pierced holes in the volcano itself.

The long-necked snakes still feeding were attacked, retreating into the volcano.

Dozens of long-necked snake heads that couldn't dodge the purple laser cannons were shot and ruptured, their blood spraying like fountains!

"Well done, Purple Owl!"

"Our human hero, the Purple Owl!!"

The battle footage was broadcast back to the Human City. The relentless firepower ignited human valor; even plunged into Desert Dust, humanity wouldn't be slaughtered without a fight and would retaliate fiercely!

Amidst the cluster of long-necked snake heads, an even larger head emerged!

This head was covered in crystalline scales, filled with molten veins. When its vertical pupils opened, they reflected countless Purple Owl Mechas like a beehive!

The driver of the Purple Owl saw the true form of the Ying Snake through the overlook. The long-necked snake heads they shot and destroyed earlier were merely the creature's "fur"!

Its neck fur was composed of thousands upon thousands of snake heads. When they fanned out, they occupied the entire crater, forming a magnificent neck-anemone!

Millions of auxiliary snake heads acted as its fur. Its body was so massive that even a thousand-year-old volcano couldn't contain it. Its snake eyes were as intricate as giant surveillance crystals, and it expelled toxic fire from within, while its breath was the sulfurous smoke!

The volcano indeed lay in perpetual silence. The continuous spewing of high-temperature toxic lava was actually the doing of this Divine Desolate Ying Snake!!

Giant, peculiar, grotesque, yet exuding a divine splendor, the driver of the Purple Owl was left stunned and bewildered upon witnessing such a Heavenly Brilliance Level creature...

He had never seen such a being before, transcending human knowledge of biology. For a moment, he couldn't discern if this was born out of ancient mythology or a pet demon from some high-dimensional creator!

It didn't lash out or attack ferociously; it simply and elegantly opened its jaws, revealing fangs capable of cutting and grinding.

The Purple Owl, as if hypnotized, drifted towards the gaping maw!

"Crunch!"

The Ying Snake bit down with grace and arrogance, shattering the Emperor Mecha, Purple Owl!

To a creature like the Ying Snake, Mechas didn't lack a 'meaty' quality. Metal, mineral crystals, ammunition, chips—all could be digested as energy.

A Mecha, forged with immense wealth, was snapped like a crispy snack.

The Ying Snake blatantly devoured the Purple Owl before the eyes of the world. The toughest armor, the most intricate framework, and the highest-end weaponry were no different from fried noodles...

The sliver of courage and excitement humans briefly experienced vanished instantly, plunging them into an abyss of despair.

Not even the great ice catastrophe years ago could match the terror instilled by this globally shocking scene!

To kill and demoralize entirely, the Ying Snake showed no interest in the living, using its agile snake tongue to pluck the Purple Owl's driver from its mouth, casually dropping him onto its neck.

The driver of the Purple Owl snapped out of his stupor, only to face the nightmarish fate below—a mass of living snake fur. Each head, radiating fury and greed, reached out, vying for the driver!

"Ahhhh!!!!"

The driver felt like he'd fallen into a meat grinder; in less than a second, his body was shredded, and his organs torn apart by dozens of auxiliary snakes.

The Ying Snake chewed on the Emperor Mecha while the auxiliary snakes feasted on human flesh. The Mecha crew and Holy Sect disciples couldn't help but take steps back. The Divine Desolate Ying Snake's divine and malevolent aura was so overpowering that battling it seemed futile...

This was while its power was still suppressed below the Heavenly Brilliance Level by the Nuwa God End.

If faced with its true form, these people would be no different from moths stuck on a spider web!
