People are writing diaries in Douluo, Bibi Dong is crazy about it

Chapter 16: Chapter 16

**Chapter 16: This Look is So Disgusting**

While Zhao Ling was lost in thought, Ah Yin glanced at him with playful, knowing eyes. She could tell that this guy was struggling to process what had just happened.

In his diary, Bibi Dong was supposed to be a gentle, kind, innocent, and romantic girl. But the sight of her leaping into the air and smashing Yu Xiaogang's head with a chair had likely shattered Zhao Ling's worldview.

Ah Yin found the situation increasingly entertaining. She was now almost certain that Bibi Dong also had a "Copy of Zhao Ling's Diary," just like she did. The diary's contents had likely prompted Bibi Dong to act in ways that clashed with its original narrative.

Bibi Dong should have been falling in love with Yu Xiaogang. Instead, she had mercilessly knocked him to the ground. It was fascinating—truly fascinating.

Ah Yin's suspicions grew. Perhaps as more of the diary's contents were revealed, things would continue to diverge from Zhao Ling's expectations. Not just Bibi Dong, but others—including herself—might start behaving unpredictably. The possibilities excited her.

The healing soul masters summoned by the Great Fighting Soul Arena spent hours treating Yu Xiaogang's injuries. While his life was no longer in danger, the remaining recovery would take time and rest.

When Yu Xiaogang finally woke up, his first instinct was to reach for the silk handkerchief he had been holding earlier. But his hand was empty, and a wave of regret swept over him.

That silk handkerchief had been a gift from the angelic girl, and he had failed to protect it. How could he face her now?

"Who was it?" Yu Xiaogang fumed inwardly. "Who dared to attack me and steal the handkerchief she gave me? I'll find them, and they'll pay!"

His anger burned as he tried to ask the onlookers for answers, but no one acknowledged him. Moments later, the arena manager waved his hand, ordering Yu Xiaogang to be carried away for recovery.

As Yu Xiaogang was carried out, he caught sight of a breathtaking figure seated in the Spirit Hall's VIP section. It was her—the beautiful girl. His heart swelled. Just looking at her made him feel as though he were floating.

From the moment he first saw Bibi Dong, he felt a deep, unshakable desire to spend his life with her. He had never felt this way about anyone before.

"This must be love," he thought, his emotions surging uncontrollably. But the shame of losing her gift gnawed at him. He resolved to apologize as soon as he healed. He couldn't let this chance slip away; she was the woman of his dreams.

Meanwhile, Bibi Dong felt a chill run down her spine under Yu Xiaogang's gaze. 'What is wrong with this man?'

She had nearly beaten him to death with a chair, yet his eyes weren't filled with anger or hatred. Instead, they radiated affection. 'So disgusting. This look is so disgusting.'

Feeling repulsed, Bibi Dong quickly averted her gaze. If she kept looking at him, she feared she might grab another chair and finish the job.

Yu Xiaogang, however, misunderstood her reaction entirely. He assumed her avoidance was due to shyness. Clearly, she felt the same way about him but was too bashful to admit it.

Determined, Yu Xiaogang gazed at her with unrelenting tenderness. "No matter what it takes, I will win her heart," he thought. "Even if my father disowns me, even if I'm expelled from my family, I will not give up on her. She is my destiny."

In his mind, he was already envisioning the future—a life with Bibi Dong and the names of their children.

As Yu Xiaogang was finally carried away, his shameless, lovesick gaze made Bibi Dong's blood boil. She clenched her fists, struggling to contain her fury. 'Was he an idiot? Did he not realize I almost killed him?'

Taking a deep breath to calm herself, Bibi Dong turned to Ju Douluo. "Elder Ju, how is the registration process coming along? How long until our matches begin?"

Ju Douluo glanced at a subordinate, who handed him the schedule. After reviewing it, he turned back to the group.

"Today is our first day in Soto City, so we'll primarily focus on observing the strength of the competitors. Tomorrow, you'll begin entering the ring.

Let me remind you," he continued, "there are three types of fighting soul matches. The first is a sparring match, intended purely for learning and practice. The second is a life-and-death match, used to settle irreconcilable disputes. The third is a wager match, where both sides agree on a bet, and the winner takes all."

Ju Douluo paused to hold up several badges. "The fighting soul badge has eight levels: Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Purple Gold, Sapphire, Ruby, and Diamond.

Given your current age and strength, reaching the Silver badge would be an impressive accomplishment. Reaching the Gold badge would undoubtedly make His Holiness the Pope very proud."

The Spirit Hall disciples nodded in understanding. Bibi Dong, however, wore a confident, almost arrogant smile.

"Gold? For me, the Gold badge is only the beginning," she declared, her voice brimming with determination.

Ju Douluo wasn't surprised. After all, Bibi Dong was the Pope's personal disciple, a rare talent with twin martial souls. Her rise to greatness was inevitable.

As Bibi Dong exuded confidence, the other Spirit Hall competitors followed suit. They had been trained rigorously, far surpassing the capabilities of contestants from lesser academies.

The Gold badge wasn't just a goal—it was their birthright.
