**Chapter 212: The Reincarnation of Qian Renxue**

What confused Zhao Ling even more was that none of his other women—Dong'er, Yin'er, Long'er, Xiao Wu, or Rou'er—showed any signs of pregnancy, except for Xi'er. This left Zhao Ling questioning his existence.

'Am I too strong? Is my physique overwhelming for them? Or is their strength too far below mine for this to work?'

Zhao Ling consulted the system for answers, which confirmed his suspicions. Due to his early advancement to Titled Douluo, combined with his Wild Combat Body, Zhao Ling's physique was far beyond ordinary. His strength created a compatibility gap, requiring his wives to reach at least Titled Douluo or even Demigod levels to conceive. The system further suggested that their chances of pregnancy would significantly increase if they ascended to godhood.

This revelation left Zhao Ling speechless. It was common knowledge that gods struggled with fertility, yet his system suggested the opposite for him.

'Is it really this hard for me to have children with my wives?'

However, the system also provided a silver lining: if his wives did conceive, their children would likely inherit his Wild Combat Body. While the inherited level would typically be elementary or intermediate, it was still an enviable trait.

On this day, Zhao Ling traveled to Spirit City as part of his monthly routine. His upgraded Cloud Piercing Shuttle—a higher-grade Xuan-level weapon—could now cover 7,000 miles per day, nearly double its previous speed. While this consumed more energy, Zhao Ling had accumulated a large reserve of spirit stones over the years, making the cost negligible.

After half a day, Zhao Ling landed on a remote road ten miles outside of Spirit City. He stored the shuttle in his spatial storage, took off into the air, and flew toward the city.

His arrival was a familiar sight to the residents of Spirit City. Four years ago, Zhao Ling had fought the high priest of the Spirit Hall to a standstill, an event that shocked the city. Since then, his monthly visits, which blatantly ignored the city's no-fly rules, were met with indifference.

Within minutes, Zhao Ling entered the Spirit Hall. Rather than heading directly to see Dong'er, he first stopped at the Pope's Palace. After all, it wouldn't do to ignore Qianxunji, the Pope. Moreover, Zhao Ling wanted to visit Qian Renxue.

Three years ago, Qianxunji married Tuoba Mei, a noblewoman from the Holy Dragon Sect. Their daughter, Qian Renxue, was born two years ago. She had golden hair, porcelain-doll features, and innate full soul power at level 20—a sign of her extraordinary potential.

Zhao Ling suspected that the system hadn't completely erased Qian Renxue's memories from her previous life. When she first saw him and Dong'er, her strange gaze suggested she held a grudge. Yet, over time, her demeanor softened, and she grew attached to Zhao Ling. Now, she often clung to him and playfully pinched his face.

Zhao Ling landed at the Pope's Palace. The guards, recognizing him, didn't bother to stop him. To the Spirit Hall, Zhao Ling was practically one of their own—if not officially, then at least as the Saint's fiancé.

Entering the hall, Zhao Ling saw Qianxunji trying to console a visibly upset Qian Renxue. Ghost Douluo and Ju Douluo watched from the sidelines, laughing at the Pope's rare display of humility.

Curious, Zhao Ling turned to Ju Douluo. "Hey, Yue Guan, what's going on? Why is Xue'er upset again?"

Ju Douluo chuckled. "The little miss wanted to play with the Saint, but she's busy training. Miss Renxue's not happy about it."

Understanding the situation, Zhao Ling walked over, catching Qianxunji and Qian Renxue's attention.

"You're here again?" Qianxunji greeted, smirking. "You're always so punctual."

Zhao Ling shrugged, rolling his eyes. "I'm two days late this time. Do you think I enjoy rushing around? With only three to five days here each month, I have to time everything perfectly. Imagine if I came when Dong'er was unavailable—I'd be miserable!"

Ignoring Qianxunji's amused expression, Zhao Ling turned to Qian Renxue and smiled warmly. "Xiaoxue'er, long time no see…"

The little girl's anger evaporated instantly. She ran to Zhao Ling, arms outstretched, and called in a baby voice, "Brother Ling, hug me!"

Without hesitation, Zhao Ling picked her up, gently pinched her cheek, and asked, "Xiaoxue'er, did you miss your brother?"

She nodded eagerly. "Yes! Sister Dong'er and I both missed you! Did you miss Xue'er?"

Zhao Ling smiled and nodded, playfully tapping her nose.

Watching this scene, Qianxunji's mouth twitched as he thought, 'You're 36 years old and still calling yourself 'Brother'? Have some shame!'
