Chapter 11: Impatience will not lead to anything good.

Chapter 11

The next morning I got up even earlier than yesterday and the first thing I did, despite the desire to stay in bed longer, was to prepare breakfast for us. In the morning I decided to limit myself to potato pancakes, which I cooked to my taste, so that they had a crispy crust and the smell was enough to wake up my friend, who had already washed up and was waiting at the table.

- Bon appetit - I said to the girl and put a plate of pancakes and a small bowl of sour cream in front of her. And although both Elsa and I liked this kind of food, you can't eat fried food for a long time, so I'll have to cook soups that I don't like so much from time to time, but even here there is a way out like borscht and milk soup, and for the second course you can easily cook buckwheat with boiled chicken.

"Thank you for the food," said the red-haired friend, who had eaten her fill, and added, "When are we going to train?"

- I think in an hour. We need to let the food settle down and then we can fully engage in training. In the meantime, how about going to the guild? I just wanted to talk to the master about healing tasks for me and I wanted to take a book on ice magic from the library at the same time.

"Okay," the girl became slightly sad.

"What happened?" I asked the girl worriedly.

"It's just that you do everything for both of us and I want to be useful too!" Elsa answered decisively.

-But you will also work with me in the forge, and we will train together to become stronger, and if you are talking about food, then even though I know literally a couple of recipes, if you want I will teach you them. And it is better for us not to take combat missions in the guild for a couple more years to gain strength, and you need to make decent armor and weapons for magic. So, you see? We still have a lot to do, which means you can not worry about what to do, you will be able to find. Oh, and do not forget that you will train in tandem with a healer, which means our training will be much longer and more effective than others.

With that, I calmed down my friend, whom I seemed to have taken a little too much patronage over. We quickly changed clothes, I, with the help of a seed, into a comfortable, non-restrictive leather armor, which looked pretty epic, but I admit, a little inappropriate on a little girl like me. Elsa put on a set of simple training clothes, we don't have much money for armor yet. You might be wondering why I'm going to train in armor? This is necessary in order to get used to it right away. After all, I personally am going to wear at least some protection from accidents on combat missions, like unnoticed traps, etc., and this is a bonus weight that will help train the body better, and thanks to healing magic, we will be able to bypass all the problems associated with overdoing it during training, which means we will develop by leaps and bounds, remaining cheerful after training.

The conversation with the master about the tasks went pretty quickly for me and as a result, the registry of tasks accepted by the guild now accepts tasks for treatment, because Polyushka, due to her dislike for people, did not really want to treat anyone outside the guild and she has enough money that she receives for potions. As for the book on ice magic, everything turned out to be quite interesting. My system decided to take pity on me, apparently, and simply transferred the entire text to my memory, as if I had memorized it without delving into the meaning, but even so it became much easier for me, because, in principle, it is not surprising that books cannot be taken out of the library, and I, excited by the prospect of instantly finding out the contents of so many books, literally rushed to look at the magic that interested me most. The magic of letters, based on the elements of ice, wind, water and lightning. They differed from the magic of dark letters in essence only in the element of the mana used and the mage of ice letters is quite capable of disassembling other people's barriers, etc. In general, I got to the knowledge so much that I did not notice the headache that was growing with each time, but in my past life such pain was my constant companion, so I just brushed it off and continued and studied probably a dozen books on each direction. Water magic, wind magic, ice magic, space magic, barrier magic, writing magic, enchantment and also telekinesis magic, cryokinesis and pyrokinesis. But when I was already thinking about switching to lightning magic, the only thing I managed to notice was how everything began to blur, and an excited Elsa runs to me, and then darkness.
