PIRATES: I WORK IN NAVY FROM NINE TO FIVE

Chapter 170: CHAPTER 170- Celestial Panic at Auction House No. 3

Meanwhile, on Sabaody Archipelago, Island No. 3, inside the Human Auction House—the entire hall had descended into utter chaos.

Originally, this auction was reserved for society's elite—nobles, royalty, and even a Celestial Dragon himself was in attendance. For many, the mere opportunity to sit in the same hall as a World Noble was an honor worth boasting about, even if they walked away with nothing.

But none of them could have predicted that such a prestigious occasion, with a Celestial Dragon in person, would suddenly erupt in violence.

Not just any scuffle, either—

A full-blown riot had broken out in the presence of a Celestial Dragon.

Even more shocking—The attackers were none other than the infamous Worst Generation Supernovas:Straw Hat Luffy, Captain Kidd, and the Surgeon of Death, Trafalgar Law.

"Dear god—RUN! It's the Worst Generation! They've assaulted a Celestial Dragon!"

"Quick! Spread the word! Have the Marines arrest these madmen before it's too late!"

The crowd of hundreds erupted in a stampede, scrambling for the exits like frightened animals. Some, upon seeing the Celestial Dragon collapsed and bleeding on the floor, were tempted to seize the opportunity and curry favor by helping him…

But when faced with saving face versus saving their lives, most chose the latter without hesitation.

Suddenly—

"Stand back! You inside the hall are surrounded!""I am Marine Rear Admiral Ryan! Surrender immediately, or we will use force to enter!"

Thousands of Marines flooded in from every direction, sealing off the plaza in front of the auction house. The man leading them was a middle-aged officer wearing a felt officer's cap—Rear Admiral Ryan.

Due to the recent Marine Headquarters' declaration of war against two of the Four Emperors, elite troops had been redistributed across key locations—not just in Marineford, but also around the Sabaody Archipelago.

That's why the emergency distress signal from a Celestial Dragon was able to summon a Marine force this vast in mere minutes.

In an instant, rows of rifles and cannons were aimed directly at the only entrance to the auction house.

Meanwhile, watching from the periphery were several other members of the Worst Generation:

Capone Bege, captain of the Fire Tank Pirates

Urouge of the Mad Monk Pirates

Jewelry Bonney, captain of the Bonney Pirates

Basil Hawkins of the Hawkins Pirates

X Drake, the infamous "Red Flag" pirate

These pirates, though notorious in their own right, had always kept their distance from Celestial Dragons.Encounters on the Grand Line had always ended in immediate retreat. No one wanted to provoke the wrath of the World Government's most sacred class.

They had planned to lie low during their stay at Sabaody. No one expected that some idiots would be bold enough to actually strike a Celestial Dragon.

Now that it had happened? They were curious. Morbidly so.

How would this play out?

Inside the auction house, Trafalgar Law's expression was grim. His facial muscles twitched, and the air felt heavier with every breath.

"Captain, I've got a really bad feeling about this," said Shachi, standing close behind.

Five days ago, after making a deal with Luo Yu, Law had led his crew here to Sabaody. He'd only intended to stop by the auction—maybe even recruit some manpower for the Heart Pirates.

He never expected to get dragged into a powder keg like this.

"We should leave, Captain. My heart's beating faster than it should," Shachi urged again.

The other crew members nodded in unison. After what they'd witnessed five days ago, they'd become realists—no more playing hero with the big names of the sea.

Suddenly, Eustass Kid let out a dark chuckle.

"Heh. Law, I told you before—none of you are worthy to stand beside me."

"If you're scared, then run. As for this whole Celestial Dragon mess—I'll handle it myself."

"Don't forget, I'm the number one Supernova."

His defiant voice echoed across the auction floor, drawing stares from Marines and pirates alike.

Everyone's first instinct had been to disassociate from the assault. But Kid's brazenness caught everyone off guard.

Still, their eyes quickly turned to Law and Straw Hat Luffy.

Would they run? Or stay and fight?

"Luffy, we should go!" Nami said urgently, scanning the walls of rifles aimed their way."There aren't that many Marines yet. If we leave now, we still have a chance!"

Usopp and Chopper, the rest of the crew's "coward trio," nodded furiously.

But Luffy had already rolled up his sleeves. He shook his head.

"No," he said firmly."We're not the same people we were back in Water 7."

"This time… I want to see how strong I've become."

"These Marines? I can crush them. I'll show the whole sea who the strongest Supernova really is."

"Heh… Captain's right," said Zoro, tightening his grip on his swords and stepping forward.

Ever since the disaster at Water 7, he'd been itching to prove himself.

Even Sanji, usually smirking and sarcastic, now wore a dead-serious look as he lit a cigarette and strode beside them.

This was their moment.

Nami, Usopp, and Chopper panicked. They turned to Robin and the others for help—but before anyone could respond—

A bloodied, enraged voice rang out from the auction house steps.

Saint Charlos, covered in blood, had dragged himself outside.

"Bastards! You useless dogs! Why aren't you attacking them yet?!"

"Are you just going to stand there and watch us Celestial Dragons be slaughtered?!"

"Remember—I am a World Noble! The most sacred being on this earth!"

"No one is allowed to harm us. Anyone who does must DIE!"

"I now command you—kill them immediately! If they're not all dead in ten minutes, I'll have you executed myself! None of you will escape!"

His screams turned everyone's faces pale.

Everyone had heard about the insanity of the Celestial Dragons.

But now they saw it firsthand.

The Marines stiffened. Even Rear Admiral Ryan looked shaken.

Charlos had just threatened his own protectors with death.

"Saint Charlos, please!" Ryan shouted desperately."We're facing three Supernovas, and you're still in the line of fire!"

"We can't attack recklessly. But rest assured—we've already requested reinforcements."

"I just received confirmation: the Admiral dispatched to respond… is Taiote Luo Yu, the new Fourth Admiral."

"He's already nearby. He'll be here in just a few minutes!"

The new Admiral?!

Charlos froze.

The rage on his face vanished. His eyes went wide with panic.

"You… what did you just say?"

"Repeat that! Which Admiral is coming here?!"
