The solid ground of the plaza shattered like paper.

In the distance, both the Marine Headquarters building and the execution platform bore the brunt of the quake—collapsing instantly.

Up on the platform, Sengoku and Garp were stunned by the sudden upheaval. Seeing Ace being flung down from above, Sengoku's expression changed dramatically as he roared, "Garp! Whitebeard's gone mad—he's throwing away his life! You catch Ace—I'll block the shockwave!"

As his voice fell, Sengoku's body burst into radiant golden light. In an instant, he transformed into a towering golden Buddha nearly eight meters tall, slamming into the ground ahead of the tremor.

"Shockwave of the Buddha!!"

He threw a mighty punch, and the explosive force clashed directly with the incoming tremor wave.

A moment later, a thunderous explosion erupted, and everything within hundreds of meters was reduced to rubble. But Sengoku's attack had successfully halted the shockwave's advance.

As he looked at Ace plummeting from the sky, Garp's expression wavered. But in the end, he gritted his teeth and shot forward.

Just as he was about to reach Ace, a figure appeared ahead of him—intercepting him in mid-air.

"You bastard! Get out of my way!" Garp's face darkened. He hadn't expected anyone to interfere at a moment like this.

But the moment his fist clenched, he caught a clear glimpse of the figure's face.

"Luffy?! What are you doing here?!"

"Grandpa, I'm taking Ace with me!" Luffy—dressed in a Marine uniform—looked up sharply. Jet-black Armament Haki swiftly coated his arms.

"Gear Second: Armament Rocket Launcher!!"

"Armament Haki?!" Garp was wide-eyed with shock. He never imagined Luffy would master Haki so quickly.

In the next moment, steam burst violently from Luffy's body. His speed spiked—he blurred like a phantom, darting in front of Garp.

His elongated fists, coated in Haki, struck Garp like twin rocket launchers.

Faced with this sudden outburst, Garp's hand trembled slightly with hesitation.

A split second later, his entire body was sent flying like a cannonball.

Garp crashed hard into the ruins dozens of meters away.

The battlefield fell into dead silence.

Everyone stared, dumbfounded, at this sudden turn of events—a "Marine soldier" had just sent the legendary hero of the Marines flying.

No one could have predicted this.

"That's Straw Hat Luffy! Dammit, how did that brat sneak in?!" Sengoku's face turned dark as thunderclouds, having just canceled out the shockwave.

As one of the few who knew about the connection between Luffy and Garp, Sengoku was not surprised to see Garp hesitate.

But before he could act, another eruption of lava burst from the rubble.

Fragments and magma flew through the air as Akainu, knocked away earlier by Whitebeard, slowly emerged from the debris, his expression cold and murderous.

"Hmph… Just a brat who reeks of milk dares stir up trouble here? Then go to hell!!"

"Inugami Guren!!"

ROAR!!

Akainu punched into the air. The lava surged and transformed into a massive molten hound, dozens of meters wide, howling as it lunged toward Luffy and Ace.

Ace had just been helped up by Luffy when his face twisted in alarm.

"Luffy, get out of here! Don't worry about me!" he shouted urgently.

"Don't worry, Ace—we came prepared!" a deep, sudden voice cut in.

A broad figure landed heavily in front of them.

"Fishman Karate—Shoulder-Throwing Sea Current!"

A massive surge of water was hurled from the sky, crashing head-on into the incoming magma beast.

A shockwave exploded on impact.

Scalding steam swept across the battlefield like a hurricane.

Seeing this, Akainu's face contorted.

"Jinbe the Sea Knight! You're betraying us? Are you throwing away your Shichibukai title too?!"

"Don't forget, this is Marineford! You won't escape with your life!"

As Akainu shouted, many Marines' faces changed drastically.

They had already grown uneasy when Doflamingo and Blackbeard turned traitor on the second battlefield.

Now even Jinbe, stationed inside Marineford itself, had joined the rebellion?

This was a full-blown betrayal!

"Hmph, Akainu—Whitebeard saved my life. That's a debt I'll never repay, even if it costs me mine! I only agreed to your plan to wait for this chance to rescue Ace!"

Jinbe seized Ace and Luffy, and blasted forward through the steaming mist—rushing toward Marco.

"Oh—and I've brought a little gift for Marineford!"

"Marco, make sure to protect Miss Nami!"

"Got it!" Marco's injuries were instantly healed by his blue flames.

Akainu and the others were shocked—Marco's Devil Fruit powers had fully returned!

At some point, the seastone cuffs that once shackled his wrists—requiring a key to remove—had been undone.

In the crowd, a girl with orange hair was trembling, her face pale.

"I told you—I didn't want to come here! Everyone's eyes look like they want to kill me…" Nami, dressed in a Marine uniform thanks to Jinbe's cover as a Shichibukai, felt her knees weaken with fear.

But seeing Ace brought to her, she gritted her teeth and rushed forward to unlock the cuffs.

As the experienced Cat Burglar she was, a pair of seastone cuffs was nothing. Within seconds, she popped them open.

"They're off! Pops, I'm coming to help you!"

Ace broke free in an instant, feeling his long-suppressed Devil Fruit powers return, his face filled with uncontainable joy.
