Chapter 1 - What Used to be a Mob

Sure enough, as soon as I spoke those familiar yet strange words, a translucent window popped up.
-Ding.
[Neutralization of certainty successful.]
[Realizing the miracle that was destined.]
“Huh? There’s more?”
No, two.
-Ding.
[Unable to deliver absolute artifact due to excessive causality.]
[Forcibly transformed and applied in the form of rules.]
…Three.
“Wow…”
I was finally speechless at the opaque windows that filled my surroundings like they were making sure I was dead.
This confirmed that I had entered the game I had been playing until recently,
Why did I feel even more upset upon realizing that the daydream I’d only joked about during my school days had become reality?
It felt even more unfair because I couldn’t think of any trigger for this.
I never left malicious reviews in the game’s comments section.
I never sent long letters to the game’s developers.
I had no intention of doing what’s called a “refund run,” and even if I had, I hadn’t even tried yet.
All I did was clear a newly released game as usual, and immediately start a second playthrough for my personal goal of an all-achievement time attack.
“If I had known that second playthrough would be a second life, I wouldn’t have started it in the first place…!”
While I did enjoy “achievement hunting” as a hobby, it wasn’t to the extent that I’d be okay with being transported into a game.
Where did it all go wrong?
Just where…
“…Don’t tell me this happened just because I mashed enter a few times. I might really lose my mind.”
Well, I admit I skipped most of the epilogue events after defeating the final boss and the notification windows for the bonus selection.
But it was just a game.
One I had already cleared once.
Probably not just me, but most people wouldn’t feel the need to read such trivial text.
Moreover, I was doing a time attack.
Literally every minute and second was precious—who would carefully read all that…!
For a very, very long time after that.
After venting my frustration among the various opaque windows for a really long time, I reluctantly began reading from the most unfamiliar parts of the text that had been blinking for quite a while.
I didn’t skip any content, no matter how trivial, not wanting to repeat what happened when I hastily read and dismissed the previous notification windows.
After reading all the text and numbers before my eyes without missing anything, I came to one conclusion.
This fragile-looking body was somehow destined to become a tank. In other words, a warrior.
Perhaps this was the influence of “The Guardian’s Ascent” I chose as my first clear bonus.
“Infinite armor durability. Health and regeneration almost infinite….”
Beyond broken, reaching a level where normal gameplay would be impossible.
The status window displayed bizarre figures that wouldn’t be strange even if I had used cheats.
But for some reason, it didn’t end with just cheat-level stats.
“…Skill window.”
-Ding.
▶ If the Incoming Words Are Bad (P)
[Accumulates all damage inflicted on entity: Lua. There is no limit to the amount of damage that can be accumulated.]
▶ The Outgoing Words Are Worse (A)
[Delivers all accumulated damage to the target with 2-3 times enhanced power.]
▶ Unstoppable (P)
[Resists all external influences attempting to change entity: Lua’s coordinates.]
▶ You Are the Shield (A)
[Forcibly overlays entity: Lua’s skills and stats onto objects upon contact.]
▶ Woo Woo Trash (P)
[Forcibly designates beings that have harmed entity: Lua as public enemies.]
From passive skills to active skills, all of them were game-breaking.
…At this point, isn’t this just being a god?
“Seriously, what kind of character is this…?”
I slightly doubted whether I could progress through the game’s story normally with this setup.
Frankly speaking, I had the specs and skills to never lose even if I ran to fight the final boss right now.
However, for some reason, my original goal of “clearing all achievements” was designated as this character Lua’s [Ending Condition].
In other words, I couldn’t return to my original world until I cleared all those endless achievements—I decided not to think about the possibility of not returning even after clearing all achievements.
“Right, I thought the first clear bonus seemed too excessive…”
A deep sigh escaped involuntarily even though I hadn’t decided what to do yet.
Without asking or questioning, if I want to return to my original world, I must clear all achievements unconditionally.
I don’t know who threw me into this game, but they’re clearly mentally abnormal.
The fortunate thing amid the misfortune was that I could at least view which achievements remained.
From achievements related to the tutorial to those related to the final chapter, everything was arranged in order, so if I cleared them one by one steadily, it would eventually end.
One way or another, I had no choice but to clear all achievements.
I never thought I’d be forced into a predetermined conclusion by a game, but given the reality before my eyes, I had no choice.
So, with the thought of finding shelter first, I took my first step toward the village faintly visible in the distance, and at that moment.
Grrrr….
“Wh-what…?”
Without any warning or sign, I made eye contact with a wolf that suddenly emerged from the bushes.
The problem was that I had no basic equipment whatsoever, making me a delicious, tempting prey from the wolf’s perspective.
No matter how cheat-level my stats like health and regeneration were, without even a small dagger to attack the wolf, I was nothing more than a toy that wouldn’t die easily.
Even [The Outgoing Words Are Worse], almost my only means of attack, was just returning accumulated damage.
In other words, I needed to continuously take damage from that fierce-looking wolf to defeat it.
Whether being bitten by the wolf’s thick fangs or allowing those vicious claws to rake across me, damage had to come to me first….
…Do I really need to defeat it?
Maybe we could just pretend not to see each other and go our separate ways—
Kyang!
“H-help me!!”
I don’t remember much after barely dodging the wolf that lunged toward me with ferocious momentum.
The reason being I was too busy fleeing from the wolf that was determined to harm me.
Ah, if I’m trembling like this at just one wolf, what made me think I could challenge the final boss?
As I continued to escape the wolf, moving through the undergrowth, small cuts appeared all over my body.
Thanks to my nearly infinite health and regeneration, they healed within seconds, but I still couldn’t get used to the pain.
From head to toe, I was covered in dust before I knew it.
Since my stats other than health and regeneration were nothing more or less than average, the distance between us gradually closed, and I finally fell helplessly to the ground, pressed down by thick front paws.
Grrrrr….
“Go away, go away!”
This was definitely a mob I had killed nearly two hundred of in my first playthrough.
A monster that had become nothing more than a training dummy for skill proficiency at some point…or so it should have been.
Whether because my body had become smaller and younger, or because the wolf’s details were so vividly rendered, I was engulfed in greater fear than I had anticipated.
Not long after that, finally, inevitably, the moment the sharp canine teeth barely touched my nape.
[Woo Woo Trash (P) has been activated.]
[Designating entity: Sharp Tooth as a public enemy.]
“…Huh?”
Simultaneously with the familiar message window reappearing in the air, the wolf’s hot breath gradually receded.
Within seconds. Bang.
Not only did it suddenly release its completely captured prey, but it also began smashing its own head against a thick rock.
