Chapter 1363: Chapter 1363 A Sharp Sword

An outpost somewhere around the northern European continent, around twenty women picking up materials from a devastated landscape filled with both fleshy and mechanical corpses. Aside from the girls, there are two men walking around and overlooking everything, "This is the third one. Instead of reinforcements, they are abandoning their small bases." Tenjirou loudly muttered, "Should we hit more?"

"We should stop here. They should be wary of us enough." Ouetsu replied after contemplating about it for a bit while holding a mechanical arm that he last severed, "But these things sure are marvelous."

Tenjirou was also intrigued by the so-called Evies and said, "They sure are strange. They are sentient yet they don't have a soul."

"They do have a soul, alright. Just that we don't see them as a soul as we know it." Ouetsu tossed the arm back to his inventory, intending to analyze it later in his free time, "Urahara probably thinks the same but didn't have enough time to delve into it."

"Or there's no point to it as of now. We're done here so let's leave..." Tenjirou's voice suddenly trailed and both of them looked back and all of the women, which were Zanpakutos that Ouetsu had forged, also stopped what they were doing and prepared for battle, "But not before we take care of that, I guess?"

In the airspace on top of the devastated outpost several Magic Circles appeared.

Even though they hadn't fully appeared, Ouetsu immediately commanded his legion of Zanpakuto, "Come back for now, girls. I'll call you out again for the after-party."

As soon as Ouetsu uttered his instructions, all the women around them transformed back into various blades before flying towards their 'employer'. They all disappeared within a small portal that Ouetsu created and the moment they were all gone, the users of the Magic Circles fully materialized.

A few seconds later, a group of 10 Evies appeared in midair. However, only two of them needed Tenjirou and Ouetsu's attention, "Did we pull a small jackpot?" whispered the latter with the former nodding, "Yep. But this is seriously surprising. That turtle is fully capable of taking on several of the current Gotei 13 Captains."

Tenjirou smiled wryly, "You think so too, huh? This world is seriously in trouble if their officers really are on that level."

The Evies also saw them and stared down at them, attempting to analyze the two Shinigami, "Hmmm... How strange... You're weak, but you did all of this? Only Etouldes are capable of escaping our senses but I'm certain that you're not." The one in front, a 4-meter-tall mechanical being spoke to them with fluent Japanese as if he already knew their origins.

Both sides didn't say anything until the apparent leader of the Evie group slowly landed on the ground followed by his men and introduced himself, "I'm Salmeda of the Devastator Order. The Earth Prime Monarch that serves under the great Regalzeva, The Fierce God. Introduce yourselves, warriors."

The two Shinigami didn't immediately respond and first observed him closely.

Salmeda towers at an imposing 4 meters, a mechanical humanoid being designed with the theme of a tortoise. His exterior is a fusion of gleaming metal and composite armor plates, arranged to mimic the protective shell of his reptilian inspiration. The two also noticed that each plate is meticulously crafted, interlocking with the next to provide maximum defense while allowing for surprising agility.

Salmeda's head is adorned with a stylized helm that resembles a tortoise's head, complete with intricate engravings that suggest the scales and texture of a real tortoise. His eyes glow a deep, emerald green, hinting at the advanced sensors and intelligence within. His limbs are powerful and robust, designed to support his massive frame and endure immense pressure, with joints protected by additional layers of reinforced armor.

Thankfully, Salmeda is part of the intel that Sona has provided them so they have a slight idea of what he's capable of.

Salmeda's primary ability is his unparalleled defense. When activated, his shell can deploy an energy shield that can withstand even the most powerful of attacks. This shield not only covers him but can extend to protect nearby allies. His defensive capabilities are further enhanced by his ability to absorb kinetic energy from impacts, converting it into stored power that can be used to strengthen his shield or power devastating counterattacks.

In addition to his jaw-slacking defensive abilities, Salmeda can wield Magic that allows him to manipulate earth and gravity. He can create barriers and weapons from the ground, shift the terrain to his advantage, and control gravitational forces to immobilize enemies or enhance his own physical capabilities.

Out of the three members of the Devastator Order, he's the weakest and most vulnerable when brought to places like the Dimensional Gap or outer space. However, when on the ground, his invincibility and power exceed the other two. Without a doubt, he's a formidable opponent.

"So you already know me, huh?" Salmeda suddenly added, which made Ouetsu and Tenjirou narrow their eyes.

They could see Salmeda's mouth twisted into a smile, "Don't be surprised. I'm one of the people with the greatest detection ability in all our forces. I can detect even the smallest change from you that's not visible to anyone. This also allows me to respond to anything that's happening around me."

"Are you sure it's okay for you to reveal something like that?" Ouetsu asked him, trying to gauge him further.

"You are warriors of the highest caliber. It's something you'd immediately notice once we cross our fists if you're as good as I'm expecting." Salmeda explained himself, "If not, then there must be something wrong with my senses."

Ouetsu and Tenjirou looked at each other before the latter accepted Evie's demand. Placing his Kinpika (Gilded Splendor) on his shoulder, Tenjirou started, "Kirinji Tenjirou. Former member of Soul King's Royal Special Task Force with the official designation of Divine General of the East." Since their enemy introduced themselves in such a manner, Tenjirou returned with something similar.

"Heya~ Nimaiya Ouetsu at your service~! Coming from the same task force, I have the official designation of Divine General of the West~! Pleased to meet you!" Ouetsu followed by his usual eccentric behavior, "Then without further ado, let's start."

Salmeda also prepared himself but at the same time, he detected something amiss. Without him knowing, the man called Tenjirou appeared and the air behind him was disturbed.

He hurriedly turned around and saw that Tenjirou already pierced one of his men through the chest with just his bare hands, "As they have said, you guys can't detect Spiritual Power."
