Pokemon: A different Ash

Chapter 10: 10. Defeating Fearow

Fearow, who had just escaped from the ruins, showed panic in its eyes and wanted to Move to the side, but it couldn't dodge due to the recoil of Hyper Beam which causes it to move slowly.

Boom!

The merged Fire Spin hit Fearow in mid-air, and the incredible force knocked it out. The power of the combined Fire Spin is that it can use the tornado formed by flames to trap the opponent.

At this moment, the flames wrapped around Fearow and burned it continuously. Although Fire-type moves don't have a type advantage against Fearow, the power of the combined attack still caused significant damage.

The force also sent Fearow flying backwards, crashing into several large trees and knocking them down before it finally stopped. Fearow was still wrapped in flames as it fell heavily to the ground.

"Ah! This is..."

Two staff members arrived carrying Serena on their backs. They saw the chaotic scene and noticed Fearow falling from the sky, looking surprised.

Quack!

Fearow, who had been knocked down, let out a scream, flapping its wings trying to extinguish the flames on its body. Fear was seen in its eyes as it glanced at Ash in terror, then it ignored all of its injuries and flew into the air.

Fearow left without looking back, its body trembling slightly as if it might fall at any moment. It seemed seriously injured. With their boss defeated, the Spearows didn't dare to cause any more trouble and fled in panic.

"Unexpectedly... it was really defeated." Seeing Fearow flee, the two staff members showed incredulous expressions.

Watching Fearow leave, Ash breathed a sigh of relief and noticed that the light connecting the two Growlithes had disappeared.

"Huff! Huff!" Feeling a strong sense of exhaustion, Ash sat down on the ground, panting.

Woof!

The two Growlithes, who were unharmed, came over and licked Ash's hand, concerned about his condition.

"Don't worry, I'm fine." Ash smiled, forcing himself to pat the heads of the two Growlithes.

"Ash!"

Serena, who was on the staff's back, jumped off and ran to Ash quickly. She was fine, with only a few scrapes. The reason she couldn't stand up earlier was not due to injury but fear. Seeing Ash's condition now, she forgot about her own pain.

The staff were also surprised, not understanding how this seemingly weak girl suddenly had so much strength.

"Ash, are you okay?" Serena asked with concern.

"I am okay, don't worry!" Ash looked up at Serena, who seemed worried, shook his head slightly, and smiled.

"Is your injury healed?"

"Ah! I... I seem to be fine. Ash, I... I didn't mean to..." Serena reacted to Ash's teasing.

She could run, but she had let him carry her on his back earlier. At the time, she just felt pain, but now she realized she had been too scared and afraid of the pain. She didn't know how to explain it and was afraid Ash wouldn't believe her.

Nervously clutching her skirt, she looked down, almost in tears. Ash stopped teasing her when he saw this.

"Haha! Just kidding."

Ash had almost recovered. Although he still felt exhausted, he was able to move. He got up slowly, and Serena quickly stepped forward to support him.

Serena supported Ash, while the two Growlithes squatted nearby, wagging their tails. The two staff members couldn't help but sigh at the scene.

"It's nice to be young!"

"Hey!!!" A voice called from behind. Turning around, they saw other staff members running over.

"I just saw Fearow. Are you all right?" The newcomers noticed the large number of Spearows in the sky and saw Fearow flying away. They looked puzzled.

"It's all right. That kid defeated Fearow." The two staff members breathed a sigh of relief and glanced at Ash and Serena.

"What? You said that child defeated Fearow?" The newly arrived staff were shocked.

"Yeah! Using our Growlithes."

Even adults like them couldn't defeat that Fearow with Growlithe, but this 7-year-old kid did it. Also commanding two Pokémon at once was only something that only a top Trainer could do.

"Oh my God. He is a genius!" Hearing what had happened, the others were so shocked that they could only use two words to describe it.

In their eyes, Ash was already a talented boy destined to become a top trainer.

"Okay, let's go back quickly! The Professor and the others must be very worried."

The staff brought Ash and Serena back to the camp, contacting Professor Oak on the way. After learning that Ash and Serena were safe, Professor Oak was relieved.

"Look, they came back!!" As Ash, Serena, and the staff returned, the children at the camp suddenly became active.

At the campsite, the tents were already set up. When Gary saw Ash, he got up immediately, a sigh of relief on his face. However, as Ash walked in, Gary returned to his usual demeanor.

"You always cause trouble for others. You want to be a trainer, but you're scared away by Spearow? Ash, you're really weak!" Though concerned, Gary's tone remained arrogant.

"Yeah Yeah" Ash put his hands behind his head indifferently, blocking what Gary wanted to say.

Gary didn't continue his words. He was genuinely worried, even though it seemed he was not worried at all. Seeing Ash safe, Gary was happier than anyone else.

At that moment, Professor Oak walked over, and Ash looked up at him.
