Pokemon - A real story

While in the air, Axel called out Nidoking and immediately told it to use 'Earthquake' to slam itself to the ground.

BAMB!!!!

The shock wave from that hit traveled far away and everyone around the vicinity was affected. Axel had already told the ally Pokemons and their trainers to move away and even then, some of them were affected but not so much.

The Pokemon group that Nidoking had targeted was a group of ice-type and grass-type Pokemons. Now, both of these types had an advantage over Nidoking but they were just pseudo-king rank Pokemons while Nidoking was a tier 3 king-rank Pokemon.

Everyone noticed the arrival of a very unique Pokemon. No one had seen such a Pokemon before. Even the team members of Axel had not seen the transformed Nidoking. It looked like a warrior from every angle.

Just when the wild Pokemons were thinking about how to deal with this new threat, Nidoking jumped again. Its entire power was focused on its stomach and its legs. Ground-type energy was covering the lower parts of its body and then,

BANG!!!

The second 'Earthquake' hit all of them. There were several cracks in the ground and the place where Nidoking had used 'Earthquake', the focal point, had already suffered so much that now Nidoking was partly underground. Its whole body was now inside that hole.

The situation of other pseudo-king rank Pokemons was also not good. The ones that were near had taken the full heat and they were seriously injured. 2 of them were now unable to battle and could be considered to be dead now while some of them were stuck in the multiple holes that had been created by this move.

"Use 'Focus energy' and then use 'Agility'", said Axel immediately.

Using status moves in the middle of the tide battle was quite a luxury. Because everyone would be getting attacked from all sides and it takes time to use those moves. Even a few seconds could make a massive difference.

But due to using 'Earthquake', the enemy was now in confusion and they were trying the best they could to get up. Some of them were even trying to run away.

Nidoking didn't need any further instructions as it immediately used the move 'Dig' to get underground and then traveled faster to catch a Piloswine who was trying to run away. It came up from the ground and its horn hit on the face of Piloswine.

It used the move 'Horn attack' to hit this Pokemon and it was immediately poisoned by this move. Nidoking with the help of 'Poison manipulation', manipulated the poison inside its body to deal maximum damage and then transferred all those health points to the 2 substitutes that it had created.

"Meg, now use 'Sand construct' to make 2 of your copies. Try to surround all of these Pseudo-king rank Pokemons and deal with them.", said Axel with a smile. He was still flying in the sky with Pidgeot.

Nidoking gave a primal roar when it heard the command. It did what it was told to do. It used the move 'Sand construct' to create 2 of the copies. One of them knew poison-type moves and another knew ground-type moves.

It then started to use the move 'Fire punch' to these ice and grass-type Pokemons and dealt a rapid amount of damage. The fist of Nidoking after the 'Ancient power' mini evolution was not a joke. It had become very powerful, and durable, and 'Fire punch' had already crossed level 40. So, the power of the move could be imagined.

Till now Nidoking had not used its signature poison-type moves. This clearly meant that it was not taking this fight seriously and rightly so.

Nidoking quickly dealt with this group of pseudo-king rank Pokemons and then went on to another. It was not using poison-type moves on purpose. It wanted to see how much it could last without using it.

The stamina of a king-rank Pokemon was monstrous but even Nidoking would be totally spent if it started to use heavy-hitting moves that would consume a lot of stamina. So, the battle was going slow but the difference in rank was huge and Nidoking was dealing with them at a fast pace compared to others.

Axel looked around and saw that the commanders had not personally interfered in the fight. Only the captains were supervising and actively fighting in the battle. This was the first day, so it was given and the pressure was also not too much.

After fighting for 45 minutes, the stamina of Nidoking started to decrease. It had also accumulated some injuries and now it needed some time to recharge.

"Meg, use the move 'Dig' but don't go totally underground. Then use the move 'Rest' and tell the substitutes and those constructs to hold the line for some time.

ROOARR.

It roared to say that it had heard it loud and clear. It first used the move 'Dig' and dug a big hole and then stayed just under the hole and used the move 'Rest'.

'Rest' was a miraculous move and it would not only recover the health of Nidoking but also its stamina in a short amount of time. But while using it, the Pokemon could not move and that was why this move was not considered so high tier.

But Nidoking didn't have this problem as it had its substitutes and constructs to look after it. This was why Axel considered Nidoking to be the tide battle specialist.

Tide battles were not a single battle but a war. The war was like a marathon. One might have to continuously fight for an entire day without any break to survive.

Nidoking had the ability to rest and even recover during the battle. Due to this, it could try to attack at a fast pace and that was why Axel considered it to be a tide battle specialist.

While Nidoking was resting, Axel looked at the system cause there were a lot of notifications.

Nidoking's 'Rest' has been leveled up to 50. It could now recover its health and stamina at a faster rate. It could also recover 50% of health one time in 2 seconds.

Axel was surprised to see that the activation of the move capture was so much before it was not so much.

'Is this cause Meg has reached tier 3 king rank?', asked Axel to himself.

The host is right. As Nidoking has reached tier 3 king rank, it could not manipulate infinity energy more freely than before. So, it could also learn the move from other typing easily but the power of these moves would surely be very low compared to other normal Pokemons using it.

 "Hmm, that is good to know."

Axel started to look at the moves that had been captured but he was not interested in any of those moves. None of those moves were remotely useful for Nidoking. Because they were of other typing and even if they were of the same typing, Nidoking had already learned it or Axel felt that it didn't need to learn it.

So, he pressed 'No' to all of them.

After resting for 5-10 minutes, Nidoking was ready to attack again. It did the normal routine and started to attack like before. Axel had to tell it multiple times to be vigilant and have a high amount of perception. Fighting for a long time may lead a Pokemon to have a lower perception cause they might be focused on a single thing and they might be attacked from the other side.

The presence of Nidoking made a great impact on the battle. Not only the morale of the soldiers that were fighting the death battle had reached sky-high but the pressure on them had also decreased greatly.

At first, it was not noticeable but after Nidoking started to fight for 3 straight hours, the number of wild Pokemons had decreased by a lot and this reduced the pressure on the soldiers.

"Hmm, it looks like the pressure on the soldiers has decreased. I can now let Nidoking rest for the day.", said Axel to himself.

"Axel, can I get some of the fun too?", asked Pidgeot as it also wanted to show the result of its training.

"No, you will not step into the battle for now. I have something planned for you. So, don't worry."

After saying that, Axel and Nidoking withdrew from the battle and told other commanders to handle it. Fighting would not only drain his physical powers but also his mental capacity.

He also had to be alert for the night. So, he directly went to sleep cause he needed it.

Gandiva was shocked to the core after seeing how Nidoking had battled. It had heard that Nidoking was a powerful king-rank Pokemon but it had also seen a king-rank Pokemon. Its leader but its leader was nowhere as powerful as Nidoking.

The strategy that Nidoking used and the way it fought at full power for more than 3 hours was amazing. It knew for sure that such fighting powers not only come from continuous training and potential but also from proper planning.

"No matter how evil Axel is, it is now confirmed that he is a very good trainer. I don't see other trainers' Pokemons at such a level.

So, it is a plus point to join his team. Now I have to see how good of a human being he really is."

From the time that it was born, its parents have told that it was very special and it would one day rise to fame. Slowly it started to realize that its parents were not only telling it to make it feel happy. They were right.

It started to discover its passive moves and their effects. But its potential was far too low to actually capitalize on this. But it never gave up. Its father was very supportive and it was very hard working but when its parents died, it lost all hope.

It skipped training and then it stopped the training after some time. It just wanted to lead a normal life but then it met with Axel.

After the death of its parents it had become very cautious on trusting anyone cause after their death, it came to realize how cruel the world really was.

"I will have to get that information from his Pokemons.", said Gandiva to itself.

Before going to sleep, he had called out all of these Pokemons out on the training ground of the base and told them to do whatever they liked.

"Just don't over-train yourself 'cause you might have to fight the tide battle."

This was his only warning and then he went to sleep. He also told Pokemons like Shedinja to take proper rest and it would be active in the night raid.

And then Axel went to sleep but the secret mission of Gandiva had just begun.

"Let's see how much of an impression I would make.", said Gandiva to itself with a smile.
