Pokemon - A real story

Malamar was the only Pokemon that fitted the description. It resembled an upside down squid. It was a very rare Pokemon. It didn't have a very high base stats but it was a very rare to find.

It was a dark and psychic type Pokemon that like to live in waters. Even thought it was not a water type Pokemon, they were mostly found in deep seas. This was one of the most interesting detail of Malamar because it was not a water type Pokemon.

Malmar was also known for its hypnotic and illusion abilities.

All things that had happened till now. Controlling other Pokemons like slaves. Higher psychic powers and cyclones protect the island from any outside interference. All of these were pointed out to Malamar.

"Sir, let's just say that it is really Malamar. But why is it hell-bent on protecting this island and this cave?", asked Rajiv.

"That I don't know but we could assume something. First of all, there must be something on this island that the Malamar really wants but it could not get it. So, it created many defenses. I cannot find any relationship between shiny stones and Malamar, so there must be a very powerful treasure that could do it.

Also, I feel that this Malamar is very close to reaching god rank but it is actually not in god rank."

"Why are you so confident about it?"

"When a Pokemon reaches god rank, there aren't many treasures that it would be excited to protect for such a long time. I don't know what happens at god rank but the material treasures are not so valuable to them."

"Even if it is a master-rank Pokemon, there is no way we can beat it. We need to think about how to get out of this cave and also from this island.", said Krishna.

They started to think of any strategy on how to do it. They had a week to implement the so called plan. For the first time in his life, Axel didn't know how to survive. He had faced many tide battles but he never felt that way because he had his full team, his friends and he knew that if he was in trouble, Oak, Red and Blue would get him out of it.

But now, they were not here. Axel started to feel that all of this was due to his overconfidence. He felt confident due to his systems and due to his Pokemons but today he realized that he was still very weak compared to the top dog of this world.

But now was not the time for regrets. He didn't have Oak, Red or Blue with him right now.

Wait!

Oak, Red, and Blue.

"Krishna, we have been here for over a month. So, they must be making some plans on how to get us out of here. Oak, Red and Blue must have already been notified.", said Axel.

"Yes, they must have been doing their best to get us out of here. But Axel, we cannot just rely on them cause we don't even know what the hell they are doing right now. We only have a week to come up with something and I don't want to rely all my hope on waiting for them.", said Krishna

Since they were going to die after a week, Krishna had started to act more friendly with Axel. They had been living in the cave for such a long time that he felt that Axel was more of a friend than a boss.

"Yes, that is not what I am getting into. What I am saying is that, is there any way that we can communicate outside of this cave?

Like this 'Void space'. Musharna could summon it from anywhere. So, is there any way that it could summon it out of this cave? Or can it help us communicate outside the cave?", asked Axel.

'Void space' was very special. Musharna could summon this isolated space from anywhere. So, there might be a chance that it could also summon them back in another place.

But Krishna shook his head.

"Musharna doesn't have the capability to do that. It could summon this space from anywhere but when we go back, we will return to the same place. If it could have the ability to do that then it would have become extremely powerful. I don't think that a king-rank Pokemon even has the capability to do such a thing."

"Krishna, that is where you are wrong. We still have a week for it to upgrade this move."

"Axel, I am not a talented trainer like you. I cannot train my Pokemon to upgrade such a high level move in a week.", said Krishna.

"So, why does it have to be your Pokemon? Can't it be my Pokemon for a week? Just for our survival?"

"Huh? What are you saying?"

"Let me tell you something that you might not know. I have always told you that I have some special powers that can increase the rate of improvement of your Pokemons, right?"

"Yes, you have said it and over the years I know that it is true.", nodded Krishna. He knew that Axel had some sort of special power but he didn't know why Axel was bringing it up right now.

"Then let me tell you something. If your Pokemon can improve at 2 times the speed with my talent, then my Pokemon would improve by 4 times. That is one of the reasons why my Pokemons learn new moves so easily. That is the reason why my Pokemons rank up so fast.

So, with that theory, if I register Musharna as my Pokemon, there must be a chance that Musharna could upgrade its move to a higher level."

Suddenly, Krishna's eyes sparkled. That might really be possible. If any other trainer was asking for such a thing, then Krishna would have outright said no. Cause if he give up his Pokemon and another trainer register it, legally, he could not claim that Pokemon again.

But this was his boss and his friend. He fully trusted Axel.

"But Musharna would have to agree to it first.", said Krishna.

"Obviously."

"Then I have no problem. This is a very great idea."

Musharna readily agreed for the new situation. It also knew Axel and it knew how much Krishna trusted Axel. So, it had no problem.

The process of giving up the Pokemon was very straightforward. Krishna would just have to break the Poke ball in which Musharna was staying and then Axel would have to catch it with his own ball.

It must be known that any master ball or Poke ball of a trainer is registered to their name. Not only in computer data but also biologically with their finger prints and a drop of their blood.

This was done to make sure that there would not be any disputes between the trainers.

Just when Axel caught it, he called it back because the pocket space they were staying at were getting unstable when Musharna went inside the master ball.

It was a very well trained Pokemon. It was not a Pokemon that was trained for damage. It was a Pokemon that was trained to control the battle field.

Axel was actually impressed with how Krishna had trained Musharna till now.

Axel was also happy that it knew the move 'teleport' and the move had been upgraded to a higher level of 40.

"Hmm, Why don't I try that?", said Axel to himself and he pulled out a TM.

This was a TM of hidden power. Axel always had stock of this TM cause it might needed anywhere.

Axel put the TM on top of its head and suddenly, he got the notification.

Congratulations, Musharna has unlocked its hidden power typing.

Hidden power- Psychic.

"Hahaha, I was right!! I know it will definitely be possible to get out of here.", shouted Axel.

"What happened?"

Axel then told Krishna all about the hidden power typing.

"Now that it has unlocked psychic typing, there is a chance that we can upgrade the move faster.

But we need a back up plan. We cannot all depend on Musharma to magically upgrade the move in such a period of time.

Do you have any backup plan?", asked Axel.

This was the best plan that they had come up with. The team started to think of another plan when Absol came up with something.

Some of them even suggested that they steal this so-called treasure and then blackmail a master-rank Pokemon into freeing them. The idea was put on the table instantly.

"Axel, we all know that there is something in the cave, something valuable that Malamar didn't want to let go. Right?"

"Yes, but as we discussed, I don't want to steal the treasure to blackmail it."

"I know that. It is a stupid idea. What I am telling you is this since Malamar could not take out that treasure from the cave, there is a 100% chance that it doesn't have full control of the cave."

"What are you getting at?"

"We all saw how Malamar was able to change the shape of the cave to trap us. But since the cave is not in full control of Malamar, it must have used a lot of its strength to do something like that.

So, if we were to make a plan to widen the cave in some way, the cave might get thinner and thinner, and with enough power, we can just create a hole in that cave and get out of it."

"Hmm, theoretically, that is possible but I don't know how we are going to achieve it. First of all, I don't think we have such a high power single target damage dealer with us."

"We have Meg.", suggested Absol.

"Yes, we do have Meg but the last time I saw, Meg was not able to create a hole in the cave while using its 'Spinning poison'. It is not strong enough to do it.", said Axel.

"But what if Meg ranks up to pseudo-champion rank? Don't you think that it would be possible then?"

"There is a possibility but if it wants to rank up, it would have to learn that move.", sighed Axel.

Even Axel was helpless. Ranking up Nidoking to use 'Spinning poison' on the thin wall of the cave was a very good idea but once the condition had been set for rank up, Axel could not do anything about it.

"Then let's train with Nidoking so that it could rank up. I have already created the move and I just need it to teach Nidoking how to do it."

"What? You created it? But when? And why didn't you tell me?"

"It was just before we thought of raiding the last Pokemons. I thought I would tell you after the fight but forgot about it till now."

"That is good news, Absol. If you can teach Nidoking how to do it, then it could increase its special attack stats with that move. And with its higher rank and good mastery of spinning poison, there is a chance that we can get out of the cave.", said Axel.

Toxtricity, Nidoking, and Absol decided to train on the move. Even though Absol had learned the move to increase its body stats from the power of the core, Nidoking could not directly copy it because Absol had dark type core while Nidoking didn't.

So, a lot of trial and error were necessary to create this move. But Axel had full trust in his Pokemon.
