Pokemon Adventure Journeys

(On a bright and sunny day, Mew and her friends are traveling down the road to their next part of their Journey.)

(Suddenly, dark clouds begin to travel across the sky where they're at, and a drop of rain hits Pikachu on his head.)

(Pikachu looks up.)

Pikachu: "Pika?" (What's that?)

Eevee: "Eevee…" (Uh oh.)

(Eevee says, looking up.)

(Soon, Mew and the others notice the rain as well.)

Mew: "A storm?"

(Mew says, confused.)

(Soon, the rain comes down harder and the group begins to run away to find shelter.)

Mew: "Let's get out of this!"

Misty: "Where can we go?! We're in the middle of nowhere!"

(Misty says.)

(The group looks ahead to notice a white building with a red roof.)

Brock: "What's that?"

(Brock wonders.)

Misty: "I don't like the looks of it,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "I don't think we have much of a choice,"

(Mew says.)

(The group agrees to the idea and hurry toward the building.)

(They barge through the doors and run inside.)

(Pikachu and Eevee shake the water off their body.)

Mew: "Is everyone okay?"

(Mew asks.)

Tomo: "Tomo okay,"

(Tomo answers.)

(Mew looks around and calls out.)

Mew: "Hello? Sorry for barging in!"

Misty: "Is anybody here?"

(Misty adds.)

(The group looks around to see a theater close by and walk over for a look.)

Brock: "It looks like some kind of theater,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "Yeah,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Hey, since nobody's around, we might as well stay here until the rain stops,"

(Mew says.)

(Everyone nods their heads in reply.)

(Suddenly Pikachu notices something.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (Look you guys!)

(The group turn their heads to see another Pikachu and another Eevee.)

Mew: "Where'd that other Pikachu and Eevee come from?"

(Mew says, confused.)

(The two Pikachu and Eevee copy everything Mew's Pikachu and Eevee do.)

Misty: "How cute!"

(Misty says, and walks over to them.)

(Misty goes over and picks up the other Eevee and Pikachu.)

Misty: "Hi there!"

(Misty says.)

(Misty's happiness soon changes to surprise and shock to see that Pikachu's face is different from Mew's.)

(Misty panics and drops the Pikachu to the floor.)

Misty: "What is this?! What's wrong with it?!"

Mew: "What's wrong Misty?"

(Mew asks.)

Misty: "That Pikachu doesn't look right!"

(Misty answers.)

(The others look to see what Misty is talking about.)

Brock: "Could be a new type of Pikachu,"

(Brock wonders.)

Mew: "Never heard of a Pikachu with that kind of face,"

(Mew says.)

???: "Hey, what are you doing here?"

(Someone asks.)

(The group turns their heads and becomes shocked to see a trainer that looks exactly like Mew.)

Misty: "Hey, Mew, that girl dressed just like you!"

(Misty says, surprised.)

(Mew steps forward and asks.)

Mew: "Who are you?"

???: "Tell me who you are,"

(The mysterious person says.)

Mew: "I'm Mew from Pallet Town!"

(Mew says.)

Duplica: "Duplica,"

(The person says in Mew's voice.)

(Then walks over and reveals her true voice.)

Duplica: "From The House of Imite."

Mew: "Imite? Like, imitate? Is that why you look just like me?"

(Mew asks, confused.)

Duplica: "That's right,"

(Duplica says.)

Misty: "At least we know that this is a girl,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "But she may be a little young for me,"

(Brock says.)

(Misty bluntly says.)

Misty: "You're sad."

(Then she walks to the Pikachu with a strange face.)

Duplica: "Aw. It still hasn't gotten over that old habit."

(The Pikachu then glows and transforms into a pink blob, much to everyone's surprise.)

Mew: "It's a Ditto,"

(Mew says, surprised.)

(Misty turns to the Eevee she is holding.)

Misty: "So then, this Eevee is really…"

(The Eevee then transforms into a blue blob that is similar to the pink one.)

Brock: "And that's a Shiny Ditto,"

(Brock says, surprised.)

(Mew brings out her Pokedex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Ditto, the Transform Pokemon. A Normal Type. It is able to rearrange the cells of its body and assume any form. Its only attack is Transform."

(Misty then pets the two Dittos as she laughs and says.)

Misty: "Squishy."

Mew: "And Ditto can make itself look just like anything!"

(Mew says.)

(Brock places his hand under his chin.)

Brock: "Yeah, but It's face stayed the same. When it transforms, shouldn't it be able to change completely?"

Duplica: "Yeah, it still can't change its face,"

(Duplica says.)

Mew: "Sound kind of odd, but Ditto is a unique Pokemon. It's one of the only few that can only transform like this,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "A transforming Pokemon. It's only attack is to copy other Pokemon. That's all it does,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "Isn't that enough?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "It is. Ditto may not be able to learn other attacks, but Transformation is a powerful asset for Ditto. Depending on the Pokemon Ditto can change into, it can also use the attack from the Pokemon it copied from,"

(Mew says.)

Duplica: "You knew a lot, huh?"

(Duplica asks, impressed.)

Mew: "Well, Professor Oak read to me about Ditto, they're very rare and unique too, including a shiny one. Of course, it also helps if the trainer can also know the attacks the Pokemon uses,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "It can imitate attacks?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "They do more than just look like a Pokemon,"

(Mew says.)

Duplica: "That's right,"

(Duplica says, happily.)

(Sometime later, Duplica brings Mew and the others to her costume room and she has a lot of them.)

Misty: "Wow! What are all these clothes for?"

(Misty says, amazed.)

(Duplica runs to the racks and comes back on the other side to be dressed as Nurse Joy.)

Duplica: "Don't worry, I'll take good care of it,"

(Duplica says, imitating Nurse Joy.)

(Then Duplica runs into the rack again and is now Officer Jenny.)

(Duplica says.)

Duplica: "My name is Jenny, you're under arrest for Pokemon poaching."

(The Pokemon and Tomo clap and cheer for Duplica's talent.)

Misty: "Great imitation!"

(Misty happily says.)

Brock: "Very good, but she doesn't capture the more adult charm of the real Joy and Jenny,"

(Brock says.)

(Misty looks at Brock embarrassingly and sweat drops.)

Duplica: "With all these costumes, I can imitate just about anybody. Watch!"

(Duplica says.)

(Then runs to the rack again, and comes out dressed as Misty.)

(She winks and laughs.)

Misty: "She's me!"

(Misty says, surprised.)

Mew: "You're amazing. Duplica,"

(Mew says.)

Duplica: "Thanks,"

(Duplica says.)

Mew: "So Duplica, have you used Ditto in battle before?"

(Mew asks.)

Duplica: "I do sometimes,"

(Duplica says.)

Mew: "I'll bet you know any Pokemon's potential attacks. You could order Ditto to use the strongest attacks possible according to the Pokemon form it takes,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "That's right! I guess that means Duplica must know every attack and every Pokemon there is,"

(Misty says.)

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "You must have studied a lot, Duplica, to be able to battle in any situation like that."

Duplica: "Oh, stop it, guys! You're making me blush,"

(Duplica says.)

Misty: "It looks like you got another rival, Mew. Duplica would make a great Pokemon master,"

(Misty says.)

Duplica: "No way!"

(Duplica denies.)

Misty: "Huh?"

(Misty says, confused.)

(Then Duplica says.)

Duplica: "I just want to become the greatest Ditto master."

Everyone: "A Ditto master?"

(Everyone says, confused.)

Duplica: "You got it! And I wanna be a big star!"

(Duplica says.)

Duplica: "You see, I started this Imite House because I like to imitate Pokemon. This place is so flat and boring, but people pass by here all the time. I thought maybe when they stop here for a rest, I could entertain them,"

(Duplica says.)

(Mew suspects.)

Mew: "I guess it didn't come easy when they see Ditto couldn't do his transformation perfectly."

Duplica: "Yes. When people watch Ditto, they don't want to see an imperfect transformation. This little one is trying its hardest to master Transform perfectly, but its face still stays the same,"

(Duplica says.)

(The Pink Ditto looks depressed.)

Mew: "I guess being a Ditto trainer's tough,"

(Mew replies.)

(The Blue Ditto comes to its friend and tries to comfort it.)

Misty: "That's sweet,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Is this Ditto one of your Pokemon?"

(Brock asks.)

Duplica: "No. This Ditto is wild and it comes here once in a while. It's actually been trying to help my Ditto perfect transformation, but it's hard work,"

(Duplica says.)
