Chapter 112: Chapter 112: The Electric Soldier Porygon
(The long long journey of Mew and her friends has brought them to a town called Matcha City.)
(Their journey has its ups and downs, but they are always able to find a way to make the best of it.)
(Of course, Pikachu and Eevee are tired as Misty let's Psyduck drink from the water fountain.)
(and Mew, Tomo, and Brock are having a snack.)
(Pikachu turns to Mew.)
Pikachu: "Pika Pika." (Mew, I'm tired.)
Eevee: "Eevee Eevee." (I'm tired, too.)
(Eevee replies.)
Mew: "I know. We're all very tired. We'll get to the Matcha Pokemon Center right away.
(In the Pokemon Center of Matcha City, there seems to be trouble going on.)
(Nurse Joy receives a phone call.)
(Nurse Joy picks up the phone and answers.)
Nurse Joy: "Yes? This is the Matcha City Pokemon Center. What? Another Pokemon that should have transferred didn't get there?"
(Soon, Nurse Joy begins to receive other calls as her Chanseys continue with their work.)
(She picks up another phone and says.)
Nurse Joy: "I'm investigating it now, so please wait a while longer."
(She then hangs up one of the phones and picks up another?)
Nurse Joy: "I'm very sorry! We'll work it out very soon."
(That's when Mew and her friends walk into the center to notice Nurse Joy is having a tizzy.)
Brock: "I wonder what's going on?"
(Brock replies.)
Misty: "It seems quite noisy,"
(Misty says.)
Mew: "It looks like Nurse Joy must be very busy today,"
(Mew says.)
(Suddenly, someone says.)
???: "That is impossible! I built this transfer machine myself!"
(The group turns their heads to see a man with green color hair.)
(and wears swirly glasses with an orange shirt and lab coat.)
(The man types on the computer and says.)
???: "There are no problems in the hardware or the programming!"
Nurse Joy: "But complaints have been coming in all morning,"
(Nurse Joy says.)
(Mew and her friends step into the computer room to see the Pokeballs being transported and Nurse Joy is with the man.)
(Mew walks over and asks.)
Mew: "Nurse Joy, what's happening here?"
Nurse Joy: "What hasn't been happening? I want to know, too…"
(Nurse Joy says.)
Nurse Joy: "For example, when we transfer a Pokemon as rare as, say Ninetales, the Pokemon that arrives at their destination is switched and the original never gets there at all. Anyway, it looks like a bug in the system is causing it,"
(Nurse Joy says.)
(Mew and her friends are shocked to hear it.)
(Just then, the scientist leans to the computer to notice a red section of the program appears.)
(It looks like it's been blocked by something.)
???: "This is…"
(The man says.)
(He then realizes.)
???: "No way, that can't… could it be?"
(Suddenly, Nurse Joy asks.)
Nurse Joy: "Akihabara-hakase? What did you find out?"
(The scientist Akihabara nervously says.)
Akihabara: "Err… no… nothing really."
Brock: "A computer virus could have caused it,"
(Brock says.)
Tomo: "What Computer virus?"
(Tomo asks.)
(Mew turns to Misty.)
Mew: "Misty, what's a computer virus?"
Misty: "A Computer Virus is kind of like a flu virus. It spreads to computers and causes them to go wrong or even shut down."
(Misty says.)
(Suddenly, Brock asks Joy.)
Brock: "Have you tried using a vaccine program?"
Mew and Tomo: "Vaccine program?"
(Mew and Tomo say, confused.)
Misty: "It's kind of like medicine, only for computers,"
(Misty says.)
(Suddenly Akihabara shouts.)
Akihabara: "Impossible! The Pokemon Transfer Machine used advanced circuits! No virus could just get inside that easily."
Nurse Joy: "But in reality, it did happ…"
(Nurse Joy says.)
(But the scientist shouts.)
Akihabara: "There's no way! It couldn't be so!"
(Then hurries outside of the room as Nurse Joy calls out to him.)
Nurse Joy: "Professor! What's the cause of the incident!"
Brock: "And he is…?"
(Brock asks.)
Nurse Joy: "Akihabara-hakase. He developed the program for the transfer system. He's a famous professor, even though he might not look it,"
(Nurse Joy says.)
Misty: "Just now, he looked like he'd figured something out!"
(Misty says.)
Tomo: "And then took off…"
(Tomo adds.)
(Mew then says.)
Mew: "I think he knows what is going on, but didn't want to tell us. I say we go find him and get some answers."
(Soon enough, Mew and the others head off search for Akihabara.)
(Mew looks at the map Nurse Joy has given to them to see which way they need to go.)
(Soon, the group comes to the stop.)
(They look at the house, and then the map, then look at the house again.)
Mew: "Yeah. Here it is,"
(Mew says.)
(The place is actually a large green brick mansion with a purplish-pink roof with a gate and brick wall at front.)
Mew: "Akihabara-hakase's laboratory,"
(Mew replies.)
(The group enters the mansion to see it's dark inside.)
Mew: "Excuse me, Mr. Akihabara,"
(Mew calls out.)
(The group then walks down the hall to see a few lights are on.)
Misty: "This is wrong, just walking into someone's house because we feel like it,"
(Misty says, concerned.)
Mew: "I know, but we need to talk to him right away. He knows something about the problem at the Pokemon Center and we need to know why,"
(Mew says.)
(Suddenly, Misty, Brock, and Tomo stop in fright.)
(Pikachu and Eevee become surprised too.)
Mew: "What's wrong?"
(Mew asks.)
(Misty points forward causing the others to turn in her direction.)
(What they see is a giant head version of the scientist that makes them freaked out.)
(The head says.)
head: "People who just walk into my house get this!"
(Then opens its mouth to chomp on them.)
(Mew calls out.)
Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee! Thunderbolt!"
(Pikachu and Eevee spring into action and use Thunderbolt on the robot, shattering it.)
(Then the head comes back together.)
(He says.)
head: "Just kidding! That stuff has no effect!"
Misty: "It restored itself?"
(Misty says, shocked.)
Mew: "Just what is it?"
(Mew asks, shocked.)
(Suddenly, Brock notices something.)
Brock: "Look at that!"
(What they see is a small robot and it has a small projector on top of it.)
Brock: "With that machine, he's making a realistic image in midair,"
(Brock says.)
(The head says.)
Robot: "So you found me out? You all seem pretty smart. Well then, follow me!"
(The machine then rolls away.)
(Mew and the others decide to follow it.)
(They follow the robot to a strange large container or a test tube.)
(The robot says.)
Robot: "Come on, get in! Don't you have some business with me?"
(The group looks at each other with concern, but decides to step inside the tube anyway.)
Mew: "It's dark,"
(Mew says.)
Misty: "I can't see a thing,"
(Misty replies.)
(Suddenly, the lights turn on as the container closes shut.)
(Mew turns to the head.)
Mew: "What are you doing?"
Misty: "Are you planning to lock us away?"
(Misty adds.)
Professor Akihabara: "What you just stepped into is a machine for sending Pokeballs. Huge, ain't it?"
(Professor Akihabara says.)
Mew: "What are you talking about?"
(Mew asks.)
(Suddenly, a Pokemon appears in front of them.)
(It has a pink polyhedral body with a blue front, blue triangular prism feet, and a blue rectangular prism tail.)
(It has a pink, polyhedral head that ends in a blue beak and has hexagonal eyes.)
(That makes Mew and her friends become surprised.)
Misty: "What is that?"
(Misty asks, startled.)
Professor Akihabara: "This is the true form of the CG Pokemon 'Porygon, produced by me, the genius Akihabara-hakase!"
(Akihabara says.)
Mew: "GS Pokemon, Polygon?"
(Mew replies, confused.)
(She smiles and pets the Pokemon on the head.)
Mew: "It looks really cute."
(The Porygon shows a happy expression from Mew comment.)
Mew: "Um sir, do you know what's causing the Disturbance at the Pokemon Center?"
(Mew asks.)
Professor Akihabara: "I guess I have no choice but to explain it,"
(Akihabara says.)
(Then shows the screen of what happened along with three familiar figures, Team Rocket.)
(The screen plays as Akihabara explains.)
Professor Akihabara: "A strange group snatched my prototype Porygon. They used the transfer to the PC world… In other words, they went into the electronic world. Those people must be in there stealing Pokemon as they are transferred.
(Mew and the others are shocked to see the ones who have taken the Porygon and went into the system.)
Mew: "That's Team Rocket!"
(Mew says, shocked.)
Misty: "It has to be them,"
(Misty says.)
Brock: "So they're the ones who caused the disturbance. Probably to steal the Pokemon,"
(Brock says.)
Tomo: "Bad Team Rocket. We must stop them,"
(Tomo says.)
Professor Akihabara: "If I put a strong vaccine software in the computer right now, the humans inside will be blown to pieces. That's what had me so worried,"
(Akihabara adds.)
Mew: "Is there no way to do it?"
(Mew asks.)
Professor Akihabara: "Never say never. If someone would use this transfer machine, go into the electronic world and bring out this 'Team Rocket' or whoever, everything would be resolved,"
(Akihabara says.)
(Mew says.)
Mew: "So that means, we'll have to go into the computer ourselves and stop them from there."
Mist: "It might be the only way,"
(Mist says.)
Brock: "I have to agree. We gotta stop them before they can steal the Pokemon,"
(Brock says.)
Professor Akihabara: "Glad that you can help, now hold still just a second,"
(Akihabara says as he types on the computer.)
(The machine begins to turn on as the scientist says.)
Professor Akihabara: "You guys will enter the electronic world for the sake of scientific progress."
(The group of friends and Pokemon look at each other with a nod.)
Misty: "I'm a little nervous about this. What if we can't get back,"
(Misty says worriedly.)
Mew: "Don't worry Misty, we just need to be careful,"
(Mew says.)
Professor Akihabara: "I promise you! As the first to enter the virtual world, your efforts will gain you great standing in the scientific community,"
(Akihabara says.)
(Then pulls the lever.)
Professor Akihabara: "good luck!
(With the switch pulled the machine turns on.)
(Then one by one, Mew and her friends and Porygon are zapped and digitized into the computer system.)
(Soon, a portal opens in front of the group of friends and they pop out, including Porygon.)
