Chapter 207: Chapter 207: Someone Stealing Pokemon's Food

(On a bright morning in the Oak Corral.)

(Mew and her friends are helping Professor Oak feed the Pokemon.)

(Since there are plenty of Pokemon at the Corral, it takes some time to feed them.)

(Mew and the gang along with the Pokemon are each pushing a wagon of Pokemon food to give to the Pokemon.)

Misty: "Wow! I never expected to carry this much Pokemon food,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "That's true, but Professor Oak watches over the Pokemon for their trainers, including mine,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "And the Pokemon need to eat, and I think there are more than plenty for them,"

(Brock says.)

(Tomo says.)

Tomo: "I can't wait."

Brock: "I'm sure the Pokemon are going to love it,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "I agree,"

(Mew happily says.)

(Soon, Mew and the others pass many of the Pokemon their Pokemon food.)

(They place the bowl of Pokemon food on the ground or in the trees.)

(Unknown to the group.)

(as they give the Pokemon their food.)

(something is hiding in the bushes.)

(and wiggles it's small nose, and has its eyes on the food.)

(After hours of feeding the Pokemon.)

(Mew and the others are resting under the tree close to the research center.)

Mew: "Phew, that was a lot of work,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "I'm tuckered out,"

(Misty says.)

(laying on her back with Togepi on her stomach.)

Togepi: "Toge Toge Togepriii!" (Tired Tired Tired!)

(Togepi happily says.)

(Misty turns to Mew.)

Misty: "How were you able to do it when you used to live here?"

Mew: "Well, I did have a little trouble at first, but it became fun. I love taking care of the Pokemon who live here. Even my friends from the forest,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "But you also like to play with them. I like to play with the Pokemon in the forest too,"

(Tomo happily says.)

Mew: "I agree,"

(Mew says.)

(Brock then asks.)

Brock: "So Mew, what Pokemon are you planning on training next?"

Mew: "I'm not sure yet,"

(Mew says.)

Mew: "As of now, Silcoon and Kakuna look like they're going to evolve very soon,"

(Mew says, pointing to the tree.)

(The others look up to see Silcoon and Kakuna are flashing a glow.)

Misty: "Yep. They look like they'll evolve very soon,"

(Misty says.)

(Then Tomo asks.)

Tomo: "So what Pokemon they'll evolve too."

Mew: "Well, we know that Kakuna will evolve into Beedrill,"

(Mew says, and takes out her Pokedex.)

(She then logs into Beedrill's information and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Beedrill, the Poison Bee Pokemon, the evolved form of Kakuna. A Bug and Poison Type. Its legs have become poison stingers. It stabs its prey repeatedly with the stingers on its limbs, dealing the final blow with the stinger on its rear."

Misty: "Yeah. I'm still a little uneasy about Beedrill,"

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "What about Silcoon?"

(Tomo asks.)

(Mew logs into Sillcoon's evolved form, and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Beautifly, the Butterfly Pokemon, and the evolved form of Silcoon. A Bug and Flying Type. Beautifly is recognized by the distinctive colorful pattern on its wings. Sweet flower nectar is its favorite food."

(The others look at the Pokedex to see that Silcoon's evolved form is beautiful.)

(It's a butterfly-like Pokémon with two pairs of wings.)

(It has large blue eyes and black antennae with rounded tips.)

(Its face, underside, and four stubby limbs are gray, while the rest of its body is black.)

(The main body of its wings are black with large, yellow markings, and smaller red and blue markings.)

(The upper pair of wings are larger and have a line of yellow along the top edge.)

(while each of the lower wings have a long, round-tipped extension on the bottom.)

Misty: "Wow. It's beautiful,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "And it looks like they'll evolve very soon, from the looks of it,"

(Brock says.)

Cinderace: "Cinderace!" (Mew!)

(Cinderace's voice calls out.)

(Mew and the others turn to see Cinderace with Roserade, Krabby, Weepinbell, Steenee, and Shellos hurrying towards them in concern.)

Mew: "Hey guys, what's going on?"

(Mew asks.)

(Soon, the four Pokemon begin to let out cry and chatter all at once.)

(Mew is confused to hear so much crying and chattering.)

(Mew calmly says.)

Mew: "Guys, guys, one at a time. Calm down."

(Soon, the Pokemon stop chattering and are able to calm down.)

Mew: "Now then, can one of you tell me what is going on?"

(Mew asks.)

Steenee: "Steenee Steenee Steenee Steenee Steenee." (We don't know how, but many of the Pokemon's food have been disappearing before many of them can finish or even start eating.)

(Steenee explains.)

Mew: "The Pokemon food disappearing?"

(Mew asks, surprised.)

(Misty and the others become surprised themselves.)

(Cinderace and the other Pokemon show Mew and the others about the situation.)

(The group is shocked to see plenty of the bowls and plates for the Pokemon are empty.)

(and the Pokemon are very glum and depressed.)

Mew: "All the bowls are empty,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "And the Pokemon look very sad,"

(Tomo says.)

Misty: "I don't understand, what could have happened to the Pokemon's food?"

(Misty asks.)

Brock: "We gave them plenty of Pokemon food,"

(Brock says.)

(Mew scratches her head.)

Mew: "We've fed them a good amount of food and we helped Professor Oak give the food to different Pokemon."

Misty: "Do you think a Wild Pokemon could have done it?"

(Misty suggests.)

Mew: "It's possible. Wild Pokemon sometimes come to the Corral, even some of my friends. But… I don't think they would actually steal from the others. They know that,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Maybe it's a Pokemon not from around here,"

(Brock suggests.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "Maybe it's just a one time thing. We'll give the Pokemon their Pokemon food, and not worry about the ones that are missing."

Mew: "If you say so,"

(Mew says.)

(However, by the next day.)

(more Pokemon food are going missing.)

(and plenty of the Pokemon are starving.)

(Their stomachs are growling, and they feel tired and low on energy.)

(Some of the Pokemon even decide to go to the forest to find food, and possibly, share some with some of the other Pokemon.)

(Even some Pokemon get into fights and arguments.)

(And there seems to be a lot of tension between the Pokemon living at the corral.)

(And so, Mew decides to call a meeting with her friends to discuss the situation with the Pokemon food going missing.)

(and possible arguments between the Pokemon.)

Tomo: "There's a lot of tension out there,"

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "More than we know. Something's strange is going on here,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "You're right. We've given them more than enough and the food is still disappearing,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "I'm starting to think someone's stealing their food,"

(Mew replies.)

Misty: "You mean one Pokemon's eating all of it?"

(Misty asks, confused.)

(Brock thinks and says.)

Brock: "Hmm… Someone who can really pack it away. Or maybe it's just some prank."

Mew: "That kind of prank's totally not cool. I hope it's not one of Haunter's pranks."

(Mew says.)
