(Meanwhile staring at Ambertwo's light, Dr. Fuji looks at it with deep hope and says to himself.)

Dr. Fuji: "Please... please let my theories be true. I must see my little girl... smile... again."

[Flashback...]

(Sometime ago.)

(in a small town, Dr. Fuji has been working on a special project in the basement.)

(A woman comes to the top of the stairs to see Dr. Fuji is on the computer.)

(Beside him, is a small tank that has the same light that is in the lab now.)

(Just then, a woman, Dr. Fuji's wife walks to the top of the stairs.)

Dr. Fuji's wife: "Dear…"

(Dr. Fuji turns to her and says.)

Dr. Fuji: "I've reawakened her consciousness! Here, in this chamber! I just need to keep it viable long enough to complete the process!"

Dr. Fuji's wife: "Why are you doing this?! You can't bring Amber back."

(His wife asks, clearly sounding upset.)

(But Dr. Fuji says.)

Dr. Fuji: "You're wrong. Look, she lives within this light! Her energy's undeniable. If my cloning theories are correct, we'll have Amber back with us one day soon."

(Unknown to Dr. Fuji, his wife, has clutched her hand on the railing.)

(She doesn't like this plan at all.)

(Sometime ago, Dr. Fuji and his wife's only child.)

(their daughter have died and Dr. Fuji is trying to clone her so she can be brought back to life.)

(However, his wife is against the idea.)

(believing their daughter can never be brought back.)

(Sometime later, Dr. Fuji finda letter laying on the table with his wife's ring and the house key.)

(Behind the letter is a picture of the family along with their child, that is actually Amber.)

(His wife wrote in the letter.)

Dr. Fuji's wife: "I loved our daughter as much as you did, but she's gone. No one can bring her back, and I can't go on watching you try. I'm sorry. Goodbye."

(In his basement lab, Dr. Fuji is sitting in his chair, looking upset.)

(He then gets up and walks to Ambertwo's tank.)

(He begins to stroke the tank as he says.)

Dr. Fuji: 'I'll do anything... to see you again."

[Flashback Ends...]

(Dr. Fuji and another scientist are walking down the hallway towards the lab.)

(Dr. Fuji asks.)

Dr. Fuji: "So, how are they doing today?"

Scientist: "You should be very pleased, doctor. The Pokémon clones are in stable condition, and Mewtwo is growing stronger everyday. One of them is bound to survive. It looks like all our hard work is finally paying off,"

(The Scientist answers with an accent.)

Dr. Fuji: "Yes, Giovanni will be very happy, I'm sure. He may soon have the most powerful Pokémon in the world. But I'll get something much more precious: knowledge... on how to recreate life."

(Dr. Fuji says.)

(He looks at Ambertwo's tank and says.)

Dr. Fuji: "Then... I'll use it to bring her... back."

(Meanwhile, Ambertwo, the Pokemon known as Mewtwo.)

(and the others fly over a town that is similar to the one from Dr. Fuji's past.)

(Ambertwo says.)

Ambertwo: "I call this my remember place. This is where I used to live."

(Suddenly, the sun begins to appear.)

(Mewtwo notices it and asks.)

Mewtwo: "What is that?

Ambertwo: "That's the sun,"

(Ambertwo answers.)

Mewtwo: "What's it for?"

(Mewtwo asks.)

Ambertwo: "It makes the whole world bright and keeps us warm all day."

(Ambertwo answers.)

Mewtwo: "Ah…"

(Mewtwo tries to reach for the sun.)

(Suddenly, the wind begins to blow.)

Mewtwo: "Oh...?"

Ambertwo: "That's called 'wind,'"

(Ambertwo says.)

Mewtwo: "Wind?"

(Mewtwo replies, confused.)

Ambertwo: "The wind helps us along. Sometimes it's soft and sometimes it's very strong."

(Ambertwo says.)

(The group flies over the city.)

(When they stop, they see the sun is beginning to set.)

(Ambertwo says.)

Ambertwo: "And that's the sunset. That's when the sun says, 'Goodnight! See you tomorrow.'"

(When the sun sets, the moon comes out and the sky is dark.)

(Mewtwo asks.)

Mewtwo: "Is that a sun?"

Ambertwo: "No,"

(Ambertwo answers with a giggle.)

Ambertwo: "That's the moon. And the stars are the little lights that twinkle all night just so we won't feel alone in the dark."

Charandertwo: "Char…"

(Charandertwo begins to feel strange and starts to fade away.)

(In the lab of the living world.)

(the female scientist notices the readings on the computer.)

female scientist: "We're losing all readings from Charmandertwo!"

scientist: "No! Not again!"

(The scientist says, frustrated.)

(In the dream world, Squirtletwo and Bulbasaurtwo are beginning to fade away as well.)

(The scientist sees the readings on the computer.)

scientist: "Squirtletwo and Bulbasaurtwo are fading the same way!"

The male scientist: "They look like another failure,"

(The male scientist says.)

(In the dream world, Mewtwo flys around Ambertwo, looking for the vanished closes.)

(Mewtwo asks.)

Mewtwo: "Where did they go?"

(However, Mewtwo notices that Ambertwo is starting to fade away as well.)

(In the lab, the clones of Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle have vanished.)

(and only Mewtwo and Ambertwo remain.)

(Sadly, Ambertwo shows signs that her life is fading as well.)

(Soon one of the scientists notices.)

scientist: "Doctor... we're... losing her too…"

Dr. Fuji: "Amber…"

(Dr. Fuji says, placing his hand on the glass as he watches her light fades away as well.)

(In the dream world.)

(Mewtwo notices Amber is starting to fade away as well.)

(and the world begins to disappear.)

(Mewtwo asks.)

Mewtwo: "What's wrong Amber? What's happening?"

(Ambertwo sadly smiles and says.)

Ambertwo: "It feels... like it's time... to say goodbye…"

Mewtwo: "Goodbye?"

(Mewtwo asks, confused and sad.)

(Soon, the world Ambertwo has created begins to fade away more.)

(the sky has become black.)

(Soon, Mewtwo's eyes begin to well up.)

Mewtwo: "I feel... something…"

(Mewtwo says.)

(And wipes his eyes, leaving a glittering tear on his hand.)

(He asks.)

Mewtwo: "What are these?"

Ambertwo: "They're tears... you're crying…"

(Ambertwo answers.)

Mewtwo: "Crying?"

(Mewtwo asks.)

Ambertwo: "My daddy used to tell me a bedtime story... that when Pokémon are sad... and they cry... their tears are filled with life."

(Ambertwo answers as her memories and herself continues to fade.)

Mewtwo: "I'm so... sad."

(Mewtwo says as tears pour from his eyes.)

Ambertwo: "I have to go,"

(Ambertwo says.)

Mewtwo: "Why?"

(Mewtwo asks, devestated.)

Ambertwo: "I don't know... but it's all right. Thank you for caring about me... and don't cry Mewtwo. You should be happy. You're alive, and life is wonderful."

(Ambertwo says, and lets out one last smile before she vanishes along with her memories.)

(Soon, Mewtwo has found himself in the darkness once more, and now… he's all alone.)

(Mewtwo lowers his head in sadness.)

Mewtwo: "These tears... What good are they?!"

(Soon, Mewtwo becomes upset that he begins to use his psychic attack in his sleep.)

(and they start emanating from his unconscious body.)

(He cries out.)

Mewtwo: "Please, Amber! Come back! Don't go! Please! Amber!"

(As his powers begin to form.)

(the brainwaves have detected it on the computer.)
