Pokémon: Ash's New Journey

"Hey Ash, just two days left before our week-long special training ends. Judging by your routine, your gains must be way more impressive than ours, right?" Misty teased as they all gathered for dinner.

Dinner tonight? Naturally, Misty and May took charge. As for Ash? He was happily enjoying the fruits of their labor, sitting like a king at the table. Having two girls cook for him—what could be more delightful?

Ash smiled at Misty's remark, his mind briefly wandering to her progress. Over the past few days, he'd taken every chance to expose her to Bug-type Pokémon. Misty, who used to shriek at the sight of a Caterpie or Weedle, was now walking through the woods with remarkable composure.

"It's been a good week," Ash replied, ruffling Misty's hair playfully. "Tomorrow, I'm taking Pupitar for a serious challenge. If all goes as planned, it'll evolve into Tyranitar. Once it does, we'll have nothing to fear against Brandon's Regi Pokémon!"

Misty blushed faintly but didn't resist Ash's affectionate gesture. Meanwhile, May perked up at Ash's mention of evolution.

"You think I can get Combusken to evolve into Blaziken before we leave?" she asked, her eyes gleaming with determination.

Ash nodded encouragingly. "Definitely! Blaziken is an incredibly strong Pokémon. I still remember the one that beat my Charizard in the Johto League."

The trio continued chatting late into the evening. As the night grew colder on Mt. Silver, Misty and May instinctively snuggled closer to Ash in their sleeping bags. For a fleeting moment, Ash felt the warmth on either side, his heart stirring. Not now... After I clear the Battle Pyramid, there'll be time.

The first rays of sunlight had barely touched the snowy peaks of Mt. Silver when Ash set off with Pupitar. His target? The undisputed ruler of this half of the mountain—a Level 60 Golem.

Unlike Pupitar's mother, Tyranitar, who dominated the other side of the mountain, this Golem was a tyrant in its own right. Ash had observed it for days, waiting for the right moment to use it as the ultimate stepping stone for Pupitar's evolution.

Standing at the mouth of Golem's cave, Ash called out confidently, "Golem! Come out and face my Pupitar!"

The ground rumbled as the massive Rock/Ground-type rolled out of its lair, eyes blazing with challenge. It didn't take kindly to intrusions, let alone bold declarations from a human and a smaller Pokémon.

Golem roared, immediately launching a Rollout attack, barreling toward them like a boulder on steroids.

" Pupitar, dodge it! Counter with Rock Tomb!" Ash commanded. Pupitar leaped nimbly out of the way and slammed its foot into the ground, summoning jagged rocks that entrapped Golem mid-roll.

But Golem wasn't one to be easily subdued. With a ferocious Rock Smash, it shattered the tomb and freed itself.

"Use Earthquake now!" Ash ordered. The ground quaked violently, throwing Golem off balance and forcing it to stagger.

Seizing the opportunity, Ash pushed Pupitar further. "Another Earthquake, Pupitar—finish it off!"

With a final, bone-shaking tremor, Golem's massive form slumped to the ground, defeated. Ash grinned triumphantly as the victory notification from his system rang in his mind.

The Birth of the Desert Tyrant

"Congratulations, Pupitar! This is it!" Ash shouted as the familiar glow of evolution enveloped Pupitar's body. The small, armored Pokémon began to grow rapidly, its silhouette changing.

As the light faded, standing before Ash was a towering Tyranitar, its green armor gleaming in the sunlight. The very ground seemed to quake beneath its feet, and the air grew heavy with an oppressive, sandstorm-like aura.

"TYRAAAAN!" Tyranitar roared, its voice echoing across the mountain.

Ash stared at his newly evolved Pokémon in awe. "You've grown so strong, Tyranitar. Let's see your stats!"
