Pokemon: Bond Evolutions of Pokémon

After the newly formed group got inside of the Battle Tower, their main destination, Rafe and the others made preparations for their battle with practiced ease. Ash also said goodbye to May and the others, and followed Rafe instructions to sign up for the battles here. The three of them went to the auditorium along with with Rafe's twin younger sisters.

But after following the instructions and boarding the escalator, Ash came onto a library instead of the battlefield he thought he would see. Looking around, he couldn't find the gate where Rafe and the others mentioned the Trail to log in for participating in the battles here.

Even though Ash had the power of Aura, he still couldn't understand the layout and design of this high-tech city, especially of this tower where there were how knows how many layers of high protection.

His Aura was going haywire.

By chance, a young looking bit with light blue hair walked out of the library door. Ash tried to go towards the boy and ask him something, "Excuse me—"

But when the boy saw the three Pokémon on Ash's body, he was so frightened that he immediately retreated back and ran away from where he was like his life depended on it, and as if Ash was some kind of demon waiting to take him away from here.

Ash hurriedly chased after him until he reached another elevator. "Excuse me, where can I sign up if I want to fight?"

But the young man was still very scared and he even huddled in the corner, looking at him with nothing but fear. When the elevator opened, he rushed inside of it.

A older guy who looked like a staff member outside the elevator door stopped Ash and the mysterious boy next to him, "So, do you want to participate in a battle? Come on, come this way! We just had to temporarily shut the other one down for some maintenance, so we have Trainers using this for now. Looks like they forgot to put the sign up this time. I'll have a talk with them while you boys enjoy your battles!"

Unexpectedly, this was the right place where the battle was logged in, though it was temporarily. Regardless of the blue-haired boy's hesitation and obvious afraid nature, the uncle pushed Ash and mysterious boy into the passage. The light scanned their passports and automatically logged them in for battle.

{You have passed the passage. You can join the battle directly!} Said the mechanic voice.

'The high-tech city is really too advanced for my liking. Plus, who uses a voice like this? I prefer my Ciel.' Thought Ash as he heard the voice that was not to his liking.

[I know; I know. I'm perfect. Go ahead and praise me all you want.] She sounded very happy to hear Ash talk about her like that.

'So… can I get something for free or a discount in your store?' Ash asked hopefully.

[Notice! Negative.]

'And there hoes all of my hopes and dreams. All down the drain.' Ash thought, all dejected.

"Come on, you two!"

Ash quickly got out of his head and didn't think much about it anymore, but by mistake, he was able to start the battle directly without going through the long number of registration process, so he was happy about that.

{Passport scanning completed, two people in the blue corner, login completed!} The voice of artificial intelligence came from the stadium speaker, Ash and the other dude came to a circular platform, slowly ascended and came to the circular looking battlefield.

The first thing that jumped into their ears was the loud cheers from the audience.

Brock and others were already waiting there, cheering for Ash and the others.

"Okay, the first battle is a tag team double battle. Everyone must work together to claim their victory!" The host relied on some high level technology to hover in the air, much like the commentator that Ash remembers where a guy was casually riding around an Aegislash. Everything in this city was some sort technology that was mostly only found in this city.

Because of the upcoming tag team battle, Ash was already on fire.

On the other hand, the blue-haired boy next to him looked particularly embarrassed to be there. Ash smiled at him and said, "You don't have any Pokémon, for you?"

"Ummn… Yeah, I have none..." The blue-haired boy didn't come here to fight at all. He escaped into the elevator and couldn't find the right way himself and got caught into this.

Ash has the the advantage of being an Aura Guardian, and a quick inspection didn't reveals that he didn't have any Poké Ball at all even before they came here, "I know. Just treat it like you're watching a battle up close—a VIP seat if you may!"

"In the blue corner is the famous Silver Conference Champion—Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town! And next to him his in partner— Tory from LaRousse City!" The host introduced the information of the two people fighting in the blue side.

'So his name is Tory. Sounds kinda familiar… where did I hear it before?' Ash wondered to himself, completely ignoring how wild the crowd was when they found out that Ash was the Champion of the Silver Conference.

Thankfully, the people here just showed a picture of him with his Pikachu in his shoulders from when they were in the Johto Region.

If it was with his Pokémon's that were in their Bonds Evolutions form or his Legendarys, it would have been bothersome.

Although, most of the people here can just search up his name and 100% of the time, there is going to be his picture next to his Latios, the only Legendary that he showed, and his many Bonds Evolution Pokémon's—but that was all for later and not now.

And in the red corner opposite to where Ash and Tory was, it was non-other than Rafe and Sid.

The two of them were also very excited to see Ash opposite to them. "I didn't expect to meet you so soon. It's really a perfect day for me!"

When the battle began, Rafe and Sid took the lead in sending out their partner Pokémon's.

A preety decent looking Blaziken and Blastoise appeared on their sides, well decent from Ash's perspective.

These two are a perfect combination of Water and Fire, Offense and Defense, and the compatibility with their Trainers were also very high, especially the ones between Sid and his Blastoise, their strong bodies are a perfect match for each other.

Ash smiled softly, he didn't expect to be able to face the two here so quickly, and specially now that it was obvious that they showed their Pokémon's.

"This Battle Tower really was worth coming to, I'll have it thank Winona later." Ash murmured to himself.

He took out two Poké Balls and handed one to Tory. "Throw this for me when I throw mine!"

"Okay, ummn, I will do my best." Seeing Ash's confident and calm look, Tory put aside some of his timidity and took the Poké Ball and threw it out at the same moment Ash threw out the Poké Ball in his hand.

A very strong and agile looking Grovyle and a big and buff looking Marshtomp appeared from their sides.

These are two of the three members of the Hoenn Region's Royal Starters. Together with the Blaziken on their opposite side, all three members of the Royal Starters of the Hoenn Region are on the same battlefield.

Just this scene alone was enough to make the audience in this part of Battle Tower very excited.

"Grovyle!" Ash casually threw a dark green branch over. This was not a special item to boost his stats or attacks, but just one of the branch pieces he kept when he rescued the Swablu not so long ago.

During Grovyles training with him, he already destroyed 5 pieces, and this was one of the last ones left. And also Grovyles favorite thing to chew on.

In terms of the types present in this battle, both sides have their own advantages and disadvantages, but the two Royal Starters on Ash's side have only evolved to the second form, while the two Pokémon's Rafe and Sid released are in there final form.

However, when they thought the Combusken that Ash also had in his team, they couldn't help but envy Ash's outrageous luck in gathering all three of the Hoenn Regions Royal Starter Pokémon's.

"Blaziken, use your Blaze Kick attack!"

Blaze Kick was basically Blaziken's signature attack. This cool looking Pokémon has a very strong waist and legs and can easily jump over even a 30-story building, or they say so.

Muddy Water!" Ash's command to his Marshtomp was very concise, clear and extremely efficient.

The only one who can use Muddy Water here was his Marshtomp, and even if Sid's Blastoise could do it like Ash's own, it wouldn't listen to him. Ash's words were heard clearly and the attack released in an instant. The turbid and heavy water flows towards the Blaziken that was still in the air trying to finish his move.

But at this time, Sid, who was cooperating tacitly with Rafe, took the opportunity to launch an attack, "Blastoise, use your Hydro Pump attack!"

Seeing Blastoise's movements, Grovyle, who was holding his tasty "regular sized" wood branch in his mouth, flashed a hint of contempt in his eyes. Without even needing to hear Ash's order, he had already used his own signature Leaf Blade attack from his right hand.

During his time at Professor Oak Laboratory, Grovyle only did one thing every day, other than chilling with the rest of Ash's Pokémon's, and that was to improve his strength, ni matter what happens.

It wasn't until he was finally able to successfully use his Cut and Slash attack to cut the waterfall in half and had learned the way that Scizor used his own powers that did he truly learn how how to harness his current true power. And with this single Leaf Blade, he was easily able to cut Blastoise's incoming Hydro Pump in literal half. One part went up to nowhere, the other went and crashef into the groups in front, creating a better field for his partner, Marshtomp.

"WOW!"

"THATS AMAZING!"

"Carter should do the thug shake!"

"YEAH!"

The audience in the Battle Tower was in a complete uproar, and that was still an understatement.

What did they see?

The weaker Pokémon, Grovyle in this case, Leaf Blade had casually destroyed the stronger Pokémon, Blastoise's, Hydro Pump in a simple Leaf Blade!

Blaziken's Blaze Kick also hit the Muddy Water that Marshtomp had created, and his legs were now immediately covered with murky and heavy water. This was much greater than the impact he himself had tried to do to his opponents.

"Blastoise, Bubble Beam!" Sid was stunned for some time but he got himself under control and continued to attack immediately.

However, Ash smiled softly. "Bullet Seed! Mud Bomb!"

His two Pokémon's were ready to go even before they heard his orders.

This Bullet Seed attack was taught it him by Ash jsut after he was caught, and recently, the strongest of the Brelooms that Ash had caught previously had also taught him how to better it when they were at the Lab together or when both of them just happened to be exchanged at the same time by Ash. "This attack can be regarded as making up for his long-range attack weakness!"

Bullet Seed easily resisted Blastoise's Bubble Beam, while Marshtomp's hard Mud Bomb exploded at the feet of Blaziken and Blastoise, leaving them covered in dirty and heavy mud, this not only did some damage, but also lower their speed a little because of the weight of the mud.

"Blastoise, use Rapid Spin!"

"Blaziken, we'll use Flamethrower!"

The two long time friends on the opposite side launched a joint attack, with Blastoise heading towards Marshtomp, and Blaziken's Flamethrower headed towards Grovyle.

"BLAZE!" (Try to cut this, you green lizard!)

At the critical moment, Marshtomp stood in front of Grovyle, ready to protect him from the super-effective Fire-type attack while they both charge up for the next round of attack.

"MARSH!" (Says the overgrown chicken!)

Ash nodded at seeing all of that double battle training coming to work and gave another order, "Muddy Water on Flamethrowers! Giga Drain on Blastoise!"

The two Pokémon cooperated very tacitly, like all of those times they had practiced with the others in how to better manage in double battles like this.

Marshtomp used Muddy his Muddy Water to defeat the stronger Flamethrower, and Grovyle used his Giga Drain to drain Blastoise's physical strength, and because of that, his Rapid Spin suddenly became much more weaker.

"Grov!" (This is all you got? Master's Blastoise is so much stronger than you!)

Then, both Marshtomp and Grovyle began to shine brightly!
