Chapter 101: Earthquake
They hold Eachother hands, as they then saw an Absol, as it was standing on a building.
Haru just laughed as he spoke. "Um so you thnkng what I am thinking".
Erika looked at as she spoke. "Evacuated the city, Yes".
30 Minutes later, Rose was telling people too move fast, as the last of the people in city were out, as Erika and Ethan looked at the city as they saw the Absol go away.
Erika then spoke. "Ok maybe we had over re-".
She was cut of as the ground shake and powerful earthquake hit the abandoned city, as the damages were pilling up.
Haru and Erika stood in shock, holding each other's hands tightly as the ground beneath them rumbled violently. The sudden tremor threw them off balance for a moment, and they both stumbled, but instinctively, Haru grabbed onto Erika to steady her.
The distant sound of crumbling buildings and the shaking earth filled the air, amplifying the chaos that seemed to be spreading through the city. The aftermath of the earthquake was already visible, with dust rising from the cracks in the ground and buildings shaking dangerously.
Erika, still holding onto Haru's hand, looked at him with wide eyes. "What... what just happened?!"
Haru looked towards the horizon where the Absol had once stood. The Pokémon was nowhere to be seen now, but the foreboding feeling lingered. He narrowed his eyes, his mind racing. "I think... I think the Absol was a warning. A sign of something bigger coming."
Erika took a deep breath, trying to remain calm despite the unsettling atmosphere. "A warning? For what?"
Before Haru could respond, Rose's voice echoed from nearby as she hurried toward them, breathless from running through the streets. "Haru! Erika! The entire city's infrastructure is damaged! We need to move fast, there might be aftershocks."
Haru quickly nodded and turned to Erika. "We need to get out of here. Something big is coming. We can't take chances."
Erika, still stunned by the earthquake, slowly nodded. "Right... Let's move." She turned to Rose, who was already motioning for people to clear the area as quickly as possible.
"Rose, what do you think triggered the earthquake?" Haru asked, his voice serious as they moved through the damaged streets.
Rose shook her head, looking at the horizon with concern. "I'm not sure. But this was no ordinary earthquake. There's something else at play here."
As they walked, Haru couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. The city, though abandoned, felt alive with tension. The damage was catastrophic, but it was too precise, too orchestrated for it to be a natural disaster.
Erika pulled out her Pokéball and called forth her own Pokémon, a swift and elegant Dragonite. "Dragonite, stay alert," she commanded. The Pokémon flew alongside them, keeping watch of the surroundings.
Suddenly, the ground shook again, more violently this time. Haru's thoughts raced. "This isn't just an earthquake. It's something... or someone trying to cause destruction. We need to find out who or what is behind this."
Erika's expression hardened. "And I'm guessing you have a plan for that, Haru?"
Haru gave her a determined look. "I do. But first, we need to make sure everyone's safe."
As they continued to lead the last few stragglers to safety, the feeling of impending danger only grew stronger. The city, once bustling with life, now stood as a shell of its former self. The shockwaves of the earthquake reverberated through the streets, sending more dust and debris into the air.
Then, as if on cue, the ground cracked open in front of them, revealing a dark, ominous void beneath the city.
"We need to go, NOW!" Rose shouted, pulling Haru and Erika in the opposite direction.
Haru's mind raced as he looked at the void. "This isn't just a natural disaster... It's something far worse. Whoever is behind this... they're playing a dangerous game."
The three of them sprinted towards the exit, the sound of the earth cracking and shifting growing louder in their ears. Behind them, the dark hole continued to grow, consuming the ground like an unstoppable force.
"We're running out of time," Erika said, glancing at Haru.
Haru nodded grimly. "I know. But whoever is causing this won't get away with it. Not on my watch."
As they reached the edge of the city, Haru glanced back one last time. The hole continued to expand, but now, it felt like something more than just an earthquake. It was a prelude to something much bigger—a threat they would soon have to face.
As the last of the civilians were evacuated, the group stood at the city's edge, looking back at the devastation. They knew that the real battle was just beginning.
They all management to make out safely as then they saw what made the whole, luckily they had already evacuated everyone before this.
Suicune looked at Haru as she Spoke. "It is the Pokemon that has been chasing yotu for while".
Haru got as he looked at the Pokemon, his Pokedex, even his national Dex gave zero information of it. "Ok what is that".
Suicune the looked at the Pokemon as she spoke. "That my dear Haru, is Heatran basically a Minor god like me, but in the weaker scale of powers when it comes too us".
Haru's eyes widened in disbelief as he looked at the creature emerging from the hole. It was massive, its molten body glowing with an intense heat that seemed to warp the air around it. The ground trembled with every step it took, and the very earth beneath them felt like it might crack open once again.
"What... Heatran?" Haru murmured, still not fully comprehending the sight before him.
Suicune nodded, her voice somber. "Yes, Heatran. It's a legendary Pokémon, just like me. But unlike me, it governs volcanic activity and the molten depths of the earth. It's a force of nature—capable of reshaping the land it inhabits. But something's off about this one…"
Erika glanced at Suicune, her expression confused. "If it's a legendary Pokémon, how come no one knows about it? I mean, the Pokédex didn't even register it. It's as if it doesn't exist in the world anymore."
Suicune's gaze never left Heatran as she spoke again, her tone darker. "This one isn't just a forgotten relic of time. It's far more than what your Pokédex suggests. There's a reason it's been following Haru—something is influencing it, something far more sinister than just the Pokémon's natural tendencies. It might be controlled or summoned by another force, and I'm afraid it's not working alone."
Haru clenched his fists, his mind racing with possibilities. The connection between this Heatran and the mysterious events unfolding around him began to make a disturbing kind of sense. This wasn't just a random legendary Pokémon wreaking havoc—it was part of something bigger, something they hadn't even begun to understand.
"So, what do we do now?" Erika asked, her voice laced with determination. "We can't just let it rampage through the world without some kind of plan."
Suicune turned her head slightly to look at Erika, her expression unreadable. "We must stop it, yes. But I can't do it alone. And Haru... you have a part to play in this."
Haru exhaled slowly, his mind still processing the situation. Heatran's power was immense, but he wasn't about to back down. He had faced greater threats in his past lives, and this time wouldn't be any different. "I don't suppose you have a plan for dealing with this, do you?"
Suicune's eyes softened slightly. "There is one way, but it requires a very specific approach. Heatran thrives on the energy of volcanic eruptions—its very being is tied to the intense heat of magma and molten lava. But there's another element at play. Its true power comes from its connection to the forces of destruction. To stop it, we need to sever that connection."
Erika raised an eyebrow, her voice curious. "And how do we do that?"
Suicune sighed. "We'll need to find the source of its power. Someone or something is controlling it—or at the very least, empowering it. If we can find that source and cut it off, we might stand a chance at weakening Heatran enough to take it down."
Haru's eyes narrowed in resolve. "Then that's what we'll do. We'll find whoever's pulling the strings and stop them."
Erika nodded, her expression fierce. "And once we do, we'll deal with Heatran ourselves."
Suicune gave a small nod, her tail flicking gently as she looked at the destroyed city and the approaching Heatran. "Be ready. This will be no easy task. But I've seen you fight, Haru. And I trust you."
With that, the group prepared themselves for the next challenge. The battle ahead would not be just against a legendary Pokémon, but against whatever force was controlling it. Haru's resolve burned bright within him. He was ready to confront whatever dangers lay ahead.
As they set off towards their next destination, the shadow of Heatran looming behind them, Haru knew one thing for certain: this battle was far from over.
Haru looked at them as he sent out Swampert and Electivire. "You guys look for his source, it's after me so yeah".
Haru active his Aura, as he and his Pokemon ran a different direction as Heatran eye's glow as the legendary Pokemon follows him. Erika, Suicune and Rose went too look for the powers of heat Heatran, as Haru had too do one things, fight while running from it.
Haru dashed forward, feeling the weight of the situation on his shoulders as he activated his Aura. The world around him seemed to slow down as the familiar hum of energy surged through him. His aura wrapped around him like a protective shield, enhancing his senses and allowing him to stay one step ahead of the heat and tremors caused by Heatran's movements.
Swampert and Electivire followed close behind, their powerful forms cutting through the air as they ran beside him. Swampert's sturdy legs moved with ease, and Electivire's crackling energy sent sparks flying into the air. The three of them made a seamless team, moving together in perfect synchrony.
Haru glanced over his shoulder briefly. Heatran's molten body shimmered as it lumbered after him, the earth cracking beneath its every step. The Pokémon's glowing eyes never wavered, locking onto Haru as it followed him with a terrifying determination. Haru felt the intense heat radiating from the creature's body, and the air around them felt like it was warping from the sheer force of its presence.
"Not gonna make it easy for me, huh?" Haru muttered to himself, keeping his pace steady as his mind raced for a solution. Heatran's power was overwhelming, and if it caught up to him, there was no telling what kind of destruction it could cause. But Haru wasn't going to give up—not when his friends were depending on him.
Ahead of him, Erika, Suicune, and Rose were heading in a different direction. They were trying to track down the source of Heatran's power, hoping to find the one pulling the strings behind the legendary Pokémon. Haru trusted them to find the answer, but it was up to him to keep Heatran distracted and away from the rest of the team.
As they moved, Haru could feel the ground beneath him shaking once more. Heatran was getting closer. He increased his pace, urging Swampert and Electivire to keep pushing forward.
"Swampert, use Muddy Water!" Haru commanded, and Swampert reared back, sending a powerful surge of muddy water at Heatran, hoping to slow it down. The massive wave hit Heatran with full force, but the legendary Pokémon barely flinched, its body absorbing the impact as it trudged through the mess with ease.
"Electivire, hit it with Thunder!" Haru shouted next, and Electivire's body crackled with electricity as it unleashed a powerful bolt of lightning toward Heatran. The attack struck true, arcing across the molten Pokémon's body, but Heatran's fiery form seemed to absorb the electricity as if it was nothing more than a minor inconvenience.
Haru clenched his fists in frustration. "We're gonna need something stronger to stop it..."
He kept running, glancing back to check on his Pokémon. Swampert and Electivire were keeping up, but Heatran was relentless. Every time Haru tried to pull ahead, the legendary Pokémon seemed to gain ground, its glowing eyes fixed on him.
Meanwhile, Erika, Suicune, and Rose were closing in on the source of Heatran's power. They had to find the root cause of this chaos, or there was no way they could defeat the legendary Pokémon.
Erika's voice came through Haru's earpiece. "We're getting close, Haru! Keep it busy just a little longer!"
Haru grinned despite the intensity of the chase. "I've got this! Just make sure you find that source—quick!"
Electivire sent another blast of electricity toward Heatran, but this time, Haru added his own power to it, using his Aura to amplify the attack. The lightning surged with greater intensity, cracking through the air and striking Heatran's molten body.
For a moment, it looked like the attack had done some damage. Heatran stumbled slightly, its molten body shimmering and flickering as it tried to regain its footing. But then it roared, and with a sudden burst of energy, it leaped forward, closing the distance between them.
"Not good," Haru muttered. "Swampert, hold it back with Mud Shot!"
Swampert quickly fired a series of high-powered mud projectiles at Heatran, aiming to slow it down again. The attack hit its mark, but Heatran's body seemed to be resistant to the impact, the mud splattering off its surface like raindrops.
"Looks like it's got some insane durability..." Haru panted, pushing his body even harder. "But I won't stop until I've got you distracted long enough!"
Swampert and Electivire moved in tandem, providing a steady flow of attacks to try and slow Heatran down, but the legendary Pokémon's pursuit seemed unrelenting.
Suddenly, Suicune's voice crackled through his earpiece again. "We've found it! The source of Heatran's power—someone's controlling it! You need to act fast, Haru!"
Haru's heart raced as he processed the information. "Who's controlling it?"
"It's—" Suicune began, but then the transmission cut out abruptly. Haru's earpiece fizzled with static as he cursed under his breath. There wasn't much time.
"Swampert, Electivire, keep the pressure on it!" Haru yelled, his Aura flaring to life. He didn't have all the details yet, but he knew one thing for certain—this fight wasn't over. Not by a long shot.
The chase continued, and Haru knew that, sooner or later, he was going to have to face the mastermind behind Heatran's rampage. But for now, he had to keep running, keep fighting, and keep his team safe until the truth came to light.
