Pokémon: Day Bringer

Chapter 103: I Made Contract

Suicune them spoke. "Would you look at they the PokeBall is changing".

Haru saw the Ultra ball catch on fire, as then fusee with and just like with Suicune PokeBall, it too looked different now looking like it was fully Heatran PokeBall.

Haru spoke looking at the PokeBall. "Did I just make a contract with another God (Legendary)".

Suicune looked as she spoke. "Minor Gods and he let you catch him, or else he would have not gotten capture".

At that smas time Swampert Bond Evolution ended as he turned back too Normal as well

Haru stared at the newly transformed Ultra Ball, now completely different from before. The fiery aura that had surrounded it faded, leaving behind a sleek, polished ball with Heatran's markings etched into it. The energy that had once threatened to burn it away now felt like a warm presence. He could sense a connection to Heatran, even without opening the ball.

"Did I just make a contract with another god?" Haru murmured, incredulity in his voice.

Suicune, who had been watching the scene unfold, gave a soft nod. "Minor gods. Heatran is an ancient entity, and he's granted you a special connection. He let you catch him because, as with me, he recognized something in you. If he didn't, he would have resisted capture entirely."

Haru was still processing it. His bond with Suicune had been a shock, but this? This felt even bigger. He glanced over at Swampert, who had just reverted from his Bond Evolution, returning to his normal state, though still charged with an aura of strength.

"That was some timing, Swampert," Haru said, rubbing the Pokémon's head fondly. "We'll talk later. Right now, I've got to figure out what this new connection means."

Erika, who had been standing off to the side, walked over with a curious look. "So, you've got a Legendary Pokémon now... along with your bond with Suicune. What's next, Haru? You planning on becoming some sort of Pokémon god?"

Haru chuckled but couldn't entirely shake off the weight of the situation. "I don't know about that, but if I've learned anything from all this, it's that these Pokémon—be it Suicune, Heatran, or others—are far more than just creatures of power. They have their own purposes, their own reasons for being. And if they chose me, there has to be a reason for that."

Suicune nodded in agreement, her calm presence soothing amidst the confusion. "You may have more to uncover, Haru. The bonds between you and these Legendary beings might carry more than just strength. They could be leading you to something greater."

Rose, who had been quiet for a moment, then spoke up. "And what about the other Legendary Pokémon? The ones connected to that relic?"

Haru paused, looking around at the ruined landscape. "It's likely that there are more like Heatran. And if what Rose says is true, those Pokémon were being drawn to the relic for a reason. But it's not just the relics we need to worry about—it's the forces behind them."

A sudden chill ran down Haru's spine, a lingering unease creeping in. If something had caused these Pokémon to gather, then there was a deeper issue at play. He didn't want to jump to conclusions, but the ominous feeling refused to leave.

"Suicune," Haru said, turning toward her, "how much do you know about this... energy? This force that's been awakening these Pokémon?"

Suicune's expression grew more serious. "I can sense it, but it's not an entity that I can easily identify. It's ancient—older than the legends themselves, and it's been stirring the Legendary Pokémon into action. I fear that this energy could be linked to something far darker than we realize. You need to be cautious, Haru."

Haru's gaze hardened. "So, we're not done yet. There's more to this than just capturing Legendary Pokémon."

"No," Suicune confirmed, "This is just the beginning."

Haru took a deep breath, feeling the weight of what he was about to step into. The path ahead wasn't going to be easy, but with his newfound connection to Heatran, Suicune, and the bonds he had forged, he knew he wasn't facing it alone. The journey would be long, but he was ready.

"Let's go," Haru said, his voice determined. "We've got work to do."

As he looked out over the horizon, he knew one thing for certain: whatever dark force was stirring, he would face it head-on.

Haru then looked at the destroyed Celadon City. "Sorry for you're city Erika".

Erika sighee as she spoke. "No need Haru, the Pokemon league will pay for the damage, let's be happy we spotted Absol in time or else we wouldn't have been able too evacuated the people in the city in time".

Haru nodded solemnly, taking in the wreckage of Celadon City. The damage from the earthquake and the appearance of Heatran had left its mark on the once-bustling metropolis. Buildings had crumbled, streets were cracked, and the air was thick with the remnants of chaos. But Erika was right. The evacuation had gone smoothly, and the city's residents had been spared.

"I'm just glad we got everyone out in time," Haru said, glancing over at Erika. "That Absol... it's strange how we keep crossing paths with Pokémon that warn us of impending disasters. It's like they know something we don't."

Erika sighed, her eyes scanning the destruction. "I don't know if they know, but it sure feels like we're being dragged into something bigger than we expected. First Suicune, now Heatran... And don't get me started on what's happening with the relics. We're just one step behind, always chasing shadows."

Haru met her gaze, his expression serious. "It's not over yet, Erika. The relics are only part of this. Whatever's causing these Legendary Pokémon to stir... it's something we need to figure out, and fast. I don't think this is just about us anymore."

Suicune, who had been standing silently beside him, nodded in agreement. "Haru speaks the truth. The forces at play are much greater than even you understand. And I fear that you will soon face even more trials, not just from Legendary Pokémon, but from the very people who are drawn to their power."

Rose, ever the strategist, spoke up next. "You're right. If there's a force behind the relics, then there must be others out there who are also trying to gather these Pokémon for their own purposes. We can't ignore that."

Haru rubbed his chin, deep in thought. "I've been getting a bad feeling about all of this. I think it's time to check on the others. See where they stand with this mess."

Erika looked at him with a small smile. "Always thinking ahead, huh? Well, no matter what, I've got your back. If we're going into this mess, we're going in together."

Haru smiled in return, his resolve firming up once more. "I wouldn't have it any other way. We've got a lot of work to do."

With that, Haru and the group began moving out of the ruins of Celadon City, determined to track down the source of the strange energy, and find out what was truly driving the Legendary Pokémon to awaken. The road ahead would be filled with uncertainty, but they were ready to face it head-on.

Haru then spoke he looked at her. "Do you feel anything Suicune".

Suicune closed her eyes as she spoke. "I did feel a legendary Pokemon, this one was not minoru God like me, but it is now gone".

Rose looked at her as she spoke. "What do you mena gone".

Suicune blue hair flowed in the air as she spoke. "It wasn't harmful at all, almost like it was making sure things didn't go out of hand, making sure if need too step too stop Heatran".

Haru furrowed his brows, processing Suicune's words. "So you're saying there was another Legendary watching over us? Making sure we didn't go too far?"

Suicune nodded. "Yes. It wasn't here to fight, only to observe. But now it's gone, as if its purpose was fulfilled the moment Heatran was contained."

Erika crossed her arms, deep in thought. "That's unsettling. If it wasn't hostile, then it was either neutral... or working for someone else."

Rose sighed. "Great, so not only do we have to deal with random Legendary Pokémon showing up, but now we have unknown forces watching us too? What's next? Arceus personally descending from the heavens?"

Haru chuckled dryly. "Let's hope not. I'd rather not have to explain to a god why I've been catching his 'minor' deities like it's a personal collection."

Suicune smirked at that but quickly grew serious. "We should be cautious. If this Legendary was truly keeping things in balance, then it means someone—or something—must have foreseen this entire event. It wasn't just chance that Heatran appeared here."

Haru looked down at the customized Pokéball in his hand, feeling its warmth. Heatran had chosen to follow him, just like Suicune had. Was this all really just fate, or was there a larger plan at play?

Erika sighed, shaking her head. "Well, no point standing around in a ruined city. We should regroup and figure out our next move."

Haru nodded. "Agreed. Let's head to Saffron. If anything, we need to rest before another Legendary decides to crash our plans."

As the group turned to leave Celadon's ruins, Haru cast one last glance toward the skyline. Somewhere out there, another Legendary had been watching. But who? And why?

One thing was certain—this was far from over.

Erika then looked at everyone. "Let's go back too the city".

After going back too the city, as they looked at the hole, as decided too investigation, both Haru and Rose summoned they're Pokemon, as Haru got on His Staraptor and Rose hwe Crobat, as they landed in the ground and found under a ruin, was destroyed base, it was scientific and we'll made, as there was word there.

Haru saw the letter as he spoke. "Team G.la.t.c... most of latter are destroyed".

Rose looker as she spoke. "So now what".

Haru spoke looking at her. "Inform Erika so she can tell the Kanto Elit Four and Red, as Johto Champion I don't have Authority over Kanto that is Red job not mine".

Rose nodded, pulling out her communicator. "I'll call Erika now."

As she stepped away, Haru continued examining the ruins. The remains of the base looked advanced—far beyond what any standard criminal organization should be capable of. The damaged lettering was suspicious, but it was enough for Haru to make an educated guess.

"Team Galactic…" he muttered under his breath.

If they were involved, that meant this wasn't just some random lab. Galactic was known for their obsession with space, time, and Legendary Pokémon. The fact that this base was hidden under Celadon and had been destroyed right before Heatran appeared wasn't a coincidence.

Rose returned a moment later. "Erika says she'll notify the Elite Four and Red. She's already mobilizing Celadon's gym trainers to prevent civilians from coming near."

Haru exhaled, glancing back at the ruin. "Something tells me we're just scratching the surface of this mystery."

Just then, Suicune stepped forward, her eyes narrowing. "There's something else… a lingering energy."

Haru and Rose both tensed as Suicune's fur bristled. The air around them felt heavy, charged with an unnatural presence. Then, from the shadows of the ruins, a faint glow appeared.

Haru's instincts kicked in. "Staraptor, be ready!"

As they prepared for whatever was coming, the light took shape—a shimmering, distorted portal flickering with unknown energy. And then, from within, a figure emerged.

A humanoid silhouette, wearing a damaged Team Galactic uniform, staggered forward, their body partially transparent like a ghost caught between dimensions. Their eyes glowed with an eerie light as they locked onto Haru.

"You… shouldn't be here…" the figure rasped, their voice echoing unnaturally.

Haru clenched his fists. "Who are you?"

The figure chuckled, the sound distorted. "You've already met me once… in another life."

The ruins shook again as the portal's energy surged. Whatever this was, it wasn't just a destroyed base. It was something much, much bigger.

Haru looker as he spoke. "What do you want with me".

The Ghost Like Figure looked at him as he spoke. "Noting really just wondering when are you gonna go to Unova".

Haru looked at him as he spoke. "Yeah not ready too go to Unova yeat, still have something too do"

The Ghost shrugged as he spoke. "Fair enough, just good luck on what will happen in the future".

As he went too the portal and desiper.

Rose just spoke looking at Haru. "Did we just have friendly conversation with a ghost".

Haru sighed, rubbing his temples. "Yeah… I think we did."

Suicune narrowed her eyes at the portal as it flickered and finally vanished. "That was no ordinary ghost. It had an aura unlike anything I've sensed before."

Rose crossed her arms. "And it knew you, Haru. You sure you don't remember anything from your past life about this guy?"

Haru shook his head. "Not a clue. But if he's tied to Unova, then I'll probably find out eventually."

Erika's voice came through Rose's communicator. "What's your status? Did you find anything new?"

Rose clicked the device. "Yeah… a lot of weird stuff. We'll explain everything when we get back."

Haru looked at the ruined lab one last time before sighing. "Let's go. Whatever's waiting in Unova can wait. We have our own problems to deal with first."

As they mounted their Pokémon and flew back to Celadon, Suicune glanced at Haru. "You may not be ready for Unova yet… but Unova may not wait for you."

Haru chuckled. "Yeah, yeah. Let's just focus on what's in front of us for now."

With that, they disappeared into the skies, unaware that far away, in the shadows of another ruined lab, someone was watching.
