Chapter 70: Johto League Part 10
It was the Next day and today was the top 10 match in the Johto League, this will chose the remaining 4 and who will go to the finals.
Haru just blinked in disbelief as he looked at is opponent name Rock. "You are saying you only brought Rock and Ground type Pokemon".
Haru and Swampert then just looked at eachother with a face that says do you see this Bs
Haru was so dun founded he looked at Swanpert as even Swampert looked back at him am said I have Moxie don't forget it
Haru just smacked his face. "Swampert destroyed him, he is an idiot how did get into the 10 to do a 6 on 6, and use the boost guy get from Moxie also this"
Haru then merge Evolve Swampert, as everyone even in the crowd had to admit this was a stupid match
Haru sighed as he activated Mega Evolution, his Swampert glowing with a surge of power as it transformed into its Mega form. The crowd, while excited to see Mega Swampert in action, couldn't help but murmur about how lopsided this battle seemed.
Rock stood confidently, sending out his first Pokémon, a Golem. "Let's show them the power of Rock and Ground types!" he said with enthusiasm.
Haru just shook his head, looking unimpressed. "Swampert, start with Waterfall."
Mega Swampert launched itself with explosive speed, covered in a torrent of water, and slammed into Golem. The impact sent Golem flying across the battlefield, knocking it out instantly.
Rock, still optimistic, called out his next Pokémon, a Rhyperior. Haru didn't even give it a chance. "Swampert, Earthquake."
The ground shook violently as Mega Swampert unleashed its power. Rhyperior was unable to withstand the move and collapsed, fainted. Swampert's Moxie Ability activated, boosting its already monstrous Attack.
The crowd began murmuring louder now, with some questioning how Rock made it to the Top 10. Even the announcers were at a loss for words.
"This match is looking pretty one-sided, folks!" one announcer said. "Rock seems to have severely underestimated Haru's Swampert."
Rock sent out his third Pokémon, an Onix. Haru facepalmed. "Swampert, Ice Punch."
Swampert's glowing icy fist connected with Onix, shattering its defenses and knocking it out immediately. The crowd started laughing nervously, feeling secondhand embarrassment for Rock.
The pattern continued as Rock sent out Pokémon like Steelix and Nidoking, all of which fell to Swampert's boosted attacks. By the time Rock sent out his 5th Pokémon, a Tyranitar, even he looked unsure.
"You can do it, Tyranitar!" Rock shouted, trying to rally himself. "Use Stone Edge!"
Haru didn't even flinch. "Swampert, Power-Up Punch."
Mega Swampert dodged the incoming Stone Edge and landed a devastating punch that not only knocked out Tyranitar but further increased its Attack thanks to Moxie.
Then he sent his Flygong as his fourth Pokémon, and will one Ice Punch was more then enough
The referee raised his flag. "Flygong is unable to battle! Haru and Swampert are the winners!"
The crowd erupted in cheers, but there was an underlying tone of amusement at how easily Haru had won. Haru recalled Swampert, shaking his head with a wry smile. "That was... something."
In the VIP section, Misty and Brock were laughing, while Ash simply shook his head in disbelief. "Well, Haru definitely made that look easy," Brock said.
Misty chuckled. "It wasn't even a challenge! That guy clearly wasn't ready for Haru."
Back in the stands, Haru's sisters were once again cheering for him, though even they seemed to think this battle was more comedic than exciting. Akagi smirked. "Our little brother didn't even break a sweat."
Asagi laughed. "Well, it was entertaining, at least!"
Haru waved to the crowd as he left the battlefield, already looking forward to a more challenging match in the semifinals. "Next time, I better get a real opponent," he muttered under his breath.
Haru walked back in the halls, then he saw Ash, he went to ask how Ash match went after all they had there Match in the time same time.
Haru looked at Ash as he spoke. "Hey Ash, how did your Match go, I fought someone with Only Rock and Ground types, I mens he ha da Flygong and Tyranitar".
Ash just looked at as he spoke. "Oh you two, I fought a girl with only different types did Water type, Pikachu and Ivysaur was more then enough but the fight was weird, didn't help she was flirting with me the whole match".
Haru blinked at Ash's response, raising an eyebrow. "Wait, she was flirting with you during the match? Like, seriously flirting? While battling?"
Ash sighed, scratching the back of his head with an awkward grin. "Yeah, it was... uh... distracting. Every time I tried to focus, she'd say something like, 'You've got such a strong presence, Ash,' or, 'You're so cool when you command your Pokémon.' Pikachu and Ivysaur carried the match because I couldn't think straight."
Haru smirked, crossing his arms. "Ash, I think you've got a fan. And judging by how flustered you look, she definitely got under your skin a bit."
Ash quickly waved his hands. "No way! I was just focused on the battle. That's all. Pikachu and Ivysaur did the work; it wasn't about her or anything."
Haru chuckled, clearly enjoying Ash's discomfort. "Sure, sure, Mr. Ladies' Man. Next thing we know, you'll have a harem of your own."
Ash turned red, groaning. "Don't start with that, Haru. I'm here to win, not deal with stuff like that."
Haru patted him on the shoulder. "Relax, I'm just teasing. Anyway, sounds like your match was at least more interesting than mine. The guy I fought... let's just say I have no idea how he made it to the Top 10. I mean, who brings a team full of Rock and Ground types to a league match? It was over in minutes."
Ash laughed at that. "Sounds like you had it easy. Guess we're both moving on to the semifinals, huh?"
Haru nodded with a confident grin. "Yeah. But don't think I'm going to take it easy if we face each other. You better bring your A-game, Ash."
Ash smirked back, the competitive fire in his eyes. "You don't have to tell me twice. Just don't lose before we get to that point, Haru."
The two shared a laugh, their rivalry burning brightly as they headed toward the main lobby. The next round was drawing closer, and both trainers were ready to give it their all to prove they were the best in the Johto League.
They made back to there way, as there was standing all 4 of the finalists of the Johto League.
As then the final round before the Finally of the Johto League was shown as each Match up was shown, Haru eyss smirked when he saw who he was going to fight, as it was Silver, as for Ash he looked at who he was figthing a Girl name Lyra
Haru looked at Ash as he spoke. "Hey don't lose this, I am waiting to fight in the Finally".
Ash just looked at him and spoke. "I won't Ethan".
Haru just blinked and looked at Ash. "Never heard you call me by my first name".
Ash chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his head. "Well, I figured since we're this close to the end of the Johto League, I should start getting serious. Besides, I've always called you Haru—thought it might throw you off a bit."
Haru smirked, crossing his arms. "Oh, it threw me off, all right. But don't think that's going to stop me from crushing Silver and meeting you in the finals."
Ash grinned confidently, his determination shining through. "You better make it there first. I've got my own battle to handle, and Lyra doesn't look like someone who's going down easily."
Haru glanced over at the matchups displayed on the large screen and then back at Ash. "Lyra, huh? If I remember right, she's from New bark town, so she might have some tricks up her sleeve. Don't underestimate her."
Ash nodded, his competitive spirit igniting. "I won't. Pikachu and I are ready for anything."
As they stood in the hall, the announcer's voice echoed through the stadium, hyping up the crowd for the semifinal matches. Haru glanced at Silver, who stood across the room, leaning casually against the wall with a sharp, calculating look in his eyes.
"Silver's no pushover," Haru muttered to himself. "But that just makes this more fun."
Meanwhile, Ash caught sight of Lyra walking confidently into the arena, her wide-brimmed hat and cheerful demeanor masking the strength she surely had as a trainer. He clenched his fist, his resolve solidifying. "I'll see you in the finals, Haru. Just don't get knocked out before then."
Haru smirked, his confidence unwavering. "Same to you, Ash. Let's give the crowd a show they'll never forget."
With that, the two rivals parted ways, each heading to their respective battlefields. The stage was set, and the semifinals of the Johto League were about to begin.
Haru then looked at Silver. "So you ready for our match tomorrow".
Silver looker at Haru and nodded. "Bring out your A game Ethan, also unlike Ash I am done that as a disrespectfully".
Haru just looked at him and spoke. "I can't really tell if that is a joke or not".
Silver smirked faintly, his crimson eyes glinting with determination. "Take it however you want. Just don't hold back tomorrow. I've been watching your matches, and I know you've got more up your sleeve than what you've shown so far."
Haru crossed his arms, a playful grin on his face. "Oh, so you've been studying me, huh? Flattered, really. But don't worry, I plan on giving you everything I've got. Hope you can handle it."
Silver scoffed, his smirk widening slightly. "You talk a big game, Ethan. Just don't disappoint me when the time comes."
Haru laughed, shaking his head. "Disappoint you? I'm going to give you a battle you'll never forget. But let's not pretend you're not itching to prove something, too."
Silver's expression hardened for a moment, but then he let out a quiet chuckle. "You're not wrong. I didn't come this far to lose. Tomorrow, we'll see who really deserves to be in the finals."
Haru extended a hand, a confident gleam in his eyes. "May the best trainer win."
Silver hesitated for a brief moment before shaking Haru's hand firmly. "Yeah, may the best trainer win. Just don't cry when it's me."
Haru smirked as they let go. "We'll see about that, Silver. Get ready, because tomorrow, it's going to be legendary."
With that, the two parted ways, the tension and anticipation in the air palpable as the semifinals drew closer. The Johto League's top trainers were about to face off, and the entire stadium was buzzing with excitement.
Later that night Haru was seeing the scanner of everyone team in his room, with him was Clair, Whitney and Rose, Suicune was also there in hee human from, as her blue hair moved in the wind even do the only air was from the fan and hee maid outfit was still on top condition.
Haru just looked through Silver team. "All his Pokemon have the best natural and best Ability for them just like".
Clair finished for as she spoke. "Just like you and almost all Pokemon you have Capture".
Haru nodded, his eyes scanning the data on the screen intently. "Yeah, but there's a key difference. Silver doesn't rely on luck; he's meticulous. Every move, every counter, every strategy—it's all calculated. I can't afford to make a single mistake."
Whitney leaned over his shoulder, munching on a piece of candy as she spoke. "So basically, you're saying he's as crazy about training as you are. Makes sense, though. You both seem like the type to go all-in."
Rose, sitting cross-legged on the bed, smirked. "So what's the plan, genius? You're not just gonna wing it, are you?"
Haru chuckled, leaning back in his chair. "Do I ever wing it? I've already started formulating counters for his team. His Feraligatr's brute strength, his Crobat's speed, and even his sneaky Sneasel. Each one has a strategy, but I've got Swampert and the others prepped to adapt."
Suicune, who had been silent until now, gracefully stepped forward, her maid outfit as pristine as ever. "Silver is formidable, but so are you. Your bond with your Pokémon is your greatest strength. Strategy can only take you so far without trust."
Clair smirked, crossing her arms. "Suicune's right. You're not just fighting with power or strategy; you're fighting with heart. That's why we're all here—to make sure you remember that."
Whitney grinned and punched Haru lightly on the shoulder. "You've got this, Haru. Just don't let him psyche you out. You're unbeatable when you're confident."
Haru glanced at all of them, feeling the warmth of their support. "Thanks, guys. I won't let any of you down. Silver's good, but tomorrow, he's going to see what it means to face me and my team at full strength."
Rose then looked as her pink eyss meet his Black. "One more thing before you do go battle tomorrow".
She then kissed him, as the lips meet, as then after a few seconds she parted away, Whitney and Clair flowed her lead and kissed him as well, as Haru just chuckled seeing his Girlfriend like this
Rose then spoke as she put some fo her pink hair behind her elf ear's looking ear's. "A good luck kiss from each of us".
Haru chuckled softly, rubbing the back of his neck as a faint blush crept across his face. "Well, if this is the kind of support I'm getting, I can't lose tomorrow, can I?"
Whitney grinned mischievously, leaning in closer. "You better not! We're all rooting for you, and we've got high expectations, mister." She winked before stepping back, her bubbly energy filling the room.
Clair smirked, her usual confident demeanor shining through. "Just remember, Haru, no holding back. Show Silver what you're made of, and don't make us regret giving you those kisses." She crossed her arms, but the hint of a smile on her face betrayed her stern tone.
Rose smiled warmly, her pink eyes sparkling as she gently placed a hand on his shoulder. "We believe in you, Haru. No matter what happens out there, we know you'll give it your all. And don't forget, you're not just fighting for yourself—you're fighting for everyone who believes in you."
Haru's grin widened as he glanced at each of them, his heart swelling with gratitude. "Thanks, all of you. I won't let you down. With this kind of good luck, how could I?"
Suicune, who had been observing quietly, gave a small nod, her serene presence adding to the room's atmosphere. "May the winds of victory guide you, Haru."
With that, the room fell into a comfortable silence as Haru refocused on his strategy for the battle, his confidence bolstered by the love and support surrounding him. Tomorrow, the battlefield would be his stage, and he was ready to give it everything he had.
