Pokémon have arrived, and they're really not called magical beasts.

Chapter 25: I Hate Being Ganged Up On—And People Who Won’t Let Me Gang Up

As expected, Su Feng's remarks caused an uproar.

[Streamer, how can you be sure souls and the Underworld exist? Have you seen them?]

[If the Underworld exists, does that mean there's an 18-layer hell too?]

[With Pokémon like these defying logic, the Underworld and souls don't seem so far-fetched.]

[My dog passed away recently. If I could go to the Underworld, could I see it again?]

"Alright, let's end this topic here," Su Feng said, clapping lightly. While his stream couldn't be banned, he knew where to draw the line.

"In short, if you encounter Ghost-type Pokémon, run to crowded areas. Pokémon like Haunter and Misdreavus won't harm you, but they love scaring people. Fear is their food, so being spooked is inevitable. However, if you see a large, terrifying Ghost-type, run immediately. Don't look back. If it catches you, something terrible will happen."

[So, Ghost-types are just like regular ghosts, huh?]

[Regular ghosts? Have you met one?]

[I get it—weak ghosts scare people, strong ones might hurt you.]

[But streamer, you advocate for peaceful coexistence with Pokémon. Ghost-types don't seem very friendly.]

"True, I do advocate for coexistence," Su Feng replied. "But I won't hide the dangers of Pokémon to push that narrative. If someone gets hurt because I withheld information, that goes against my principles. I can't accept that."

[Positive energy streamer! Following you now!]

[You can tell the streamer puts effort into his科普. He even warns us about each Pokémon's dangers.]

[Yeah, I tried approaching a Rattata like he said. It was super friendly as long as I wasn't hostile.]

[Knowing the dangers of each Pokémon is really helpful for us regular folks.]

"Once I return to the city, I'll try to create a Pokémon encyclopedia. It'll record information about known Pokémon so people can handle unfamiliar ones."

Su Feng glanced at Torchic. He wasn't sure if he could remember every Pokémon's details, but he'd take it step by step.

[Wow, streamer, you're amazing!]

[Hi, I'm the CEO of Rice Tech. If you're serious about this encyclopedia, we can provide technical support.]

[Streamer, I'm Tencent's general manager. We'd love to collaborate.]

"Alright, alright," Su Feng said, waving off the eager companies. "I want this encyclopedia to benefit the public, so I'll collaborate with the authorities."

"Rustle, rustle..."

While Su Feng chatted with his viewers, a faint sound came from the nearby grass. He immediately tensed up.

Torchic and Gutsy, by his side, showed no reaction, clearly unaware of the noise. Su Feng looked up at Greninja, who nodded slightly, confirming his suspicions.

If not for his system-enhanced senses, he might've missed the sound. But with Greninja, the lake's ruler, still here, who would dare ambush him?

Su Feng stopped interacting with the chat, his gaze fixed on the grass. The viewers sensed the tension, and the chat slowed to a crawl.

[What's wrong? Why'd the streamer go silent?]

[Shh, something's up.]

[Did he run into something again?]

[It's too quiet... unnaturally quiet.]

Su Feng nodded at the comment.

Exactly. It was too quiet. Even in silence, you'd usually hear the cries of Poochyena or Pidgey. Now, only the rustling of wind through the trees could be heard.

"Rustle, rustle, rustle!"

Suddenly, as if receiving a signal, the Pokémon in the grass emerged, swiftly surrounding Su Feng's camp!

"What the...!"

In Su Feng's view were small, childlike Pokémon with leafy heads, long noses like Pinocchio, and brown skin.

[Oh no, this is a real crisis.]

[They've surrounded the streamer. This doesn't look good.]

[This is bad. I hope the streamer can get out of this safely.]

[Streamer, do you need help? We can head to your location immediately. Please stay safe!]

Su Feng raised his eyes slightly.

Surrounding him were ten Nuzleaf. He wasn't sure why they'd encircled him, but if a fight broke out, Greninja could handle most of them, while Torchic and Gutsy dealt with the rest.

If push came to shove, he could probably take on one or two himself.

"No need, thank you for your concern. The situation is still under control..."

Before Su Feng could finish, another rustling sound came from the grass.

Out stepped a Shiftry, clearly on a different level from the Nuzleaf.

"Now it's not."

If Greninja barely managed to defeat Shiftry despite the type disadvantage, Torchic and Gutsy wouldn't stand a chance against the remaining Nuzleaf.

"I hate people who gang up on me—and people who won't let me gang up..."

[Stop with the memes. This is serious.]

[You're way too relaxed for this situation.]

[Yeah, this is clearly out of the streamer's control now.]

"My location is Starforest..."

Su Feng was about to call for help when Greninja raised a hand to stop him.

Confused, Su Feng looked at Greninja, who shook its head.

"Kero."

Then it stepped forward, heading straight for Shiftry.

Su Feng quickly asked the system, "What did Greninja just say!?"

[It said, 'This is my enemy. You don't need to intervene. Just watch.']
