Pokémon: I Am a Dragon Tamer!

Chapter 134: Porygon’s Kidney Strike

However, Sabrina knew he had Mewtwo—especially in this situation, even she couldn't prevent Mewtwo from taking him and Gary away. In other words, from the very beginning, Sabrina never truly intended to kill him. She just wanted to see Ryuuske flee in disarray.

One could only say that this woman's pride was truly formidable.

"The Bluetooth and Wi-Fi signals here are surprisingly good," Ryuuske said, uttering words that left both Sabrina and Koga bewildered as he casually opened his Pokédex.

"What exactly are you trying to say?" Sabrina had almost grown immune to Ryuuske's occasional provoking remarks. It had to be said that humans were incredibly adaptable creatures. Even though she had been furious just moments ago over his words damaging her reputation, she had now calmed down, pretending not to hear his irritating comments.

"What I mean is..." Ryuuske aimed the scanning light at the top of the Pokédex directly at Koga. Both Sabrina and Koga were puzzled. They were familiar with the functions of this Pokédex created by Professor Oak—it mainly stored some of the professor's research findings and knowledge, and the scanning light could also identify Pokémon.

But this device was utterly useless to Team Rocket. Professor Oak's research might be a foundational cornerstone for the entire Pokémon world, with many studies built upon his work. However, his research was purely theoretical and covered too broad a scope. Team Rocket needed studies that could be immediately weaponized, not Professor Oak's ecological theories. Thus, they had zero interest in the Pokémon knowledge stored in the Pokédex.

But why was Ryuuske pointing the Pokédex at Koga? Was he trying to scan Koga as if he were a Pokémon?

Sabrina felt something was off but couldn't pinpoint exactly what.

"Sabrina, we know each other well—intimately well, down to every part of each other's bodies..." Ryuuske continued his teasing, much to Sabrina's silent irritation. Fortunately, the only other person hearing this was Koga, who was tight-lipped. If it had been Surge, the loudmouth, rumors about Sabrina and Ryuuske would've spread everywhere in no time.

Suppressing the urge to beat Ryuuske up, Sabrina listened to his grand speech.

"...But precisely because you know me so well, you've made a fundamental mistake. Mewtwo, Gabite, and Dragnoir—each of them is strong, each perfectly in sync with me and well-trained. But my team is far from complete. Assuming I only have these three Pokémon is your biggest mistake."

Sabrina's guard shot up. Just as she was about to shout "Watch out!", Ryuuske grinned and said, "...Porygon, Kidney Strike!"

What kind of move was a "Kidney Strike"? Neither Sabrina nor Koga had ever heard of it—but they soon found out.

The scanning light on Ryuuske's Pokédex suddenly emitted a beam, shooting straight at Koga. The distance between Ryuuske and Koga was short, and no one expected the Pokédex to be used as a weapon. Even Koga's Muk couldn't react in time. The beam transformed into a Porygon, its sharp beak slamming hard into Koga's waist—right where a human's kidney was located.

A "Kidney Strike" was simply using *Tackle* on the kidney!

"Ugh—!"

Koga's face instantly turned deathly pale. His mouth gaped open, his eyes bulging. Already emaciated from days of starvation, dark circles deepened under his eyes. The excruciating pain was like a brutal kick to a man's most vulnerable spot. He couldn't even let out a proper scream—just wheezed like a broken bellows, gasping for air.

Koga dropped to one knee, unable to speak, his face twisted in agony. He even began to wonder if he'd lost certain male functions, briefly feeling grateful he already had children.

Sabrina, floating beside him, was equally stunned. "...Where did you get a Porygon?"

"Of course it's not mine," Ryuuske said, glancing at the still-dazed Shigeru. "This guy's smart. When he realized he was in trouble, he immediately uploaded his Porygon into his Pokédex, setting it so any Pokédex owner who came here could download and borrow it."

"...Porygon is a fascinating Pokémon. Its body is made of data, allowing it to live in cyberspace. Whether it was truly created by humans or simply discovered because of the invention of the internet is impossible to prove. As for where Gary found such a rare Pokémon, I have no idea. See? I told you the signal here was great—the download speed was lightning-fast, wasn't it?"

Ryuuske raised an eyebrow, grinning at Sabrina as if to say, *Once again, I win.*

Sabrina fell silent for a moment. This perpetually cold, elegant woman—like a pristine snow lotus—suddenly laughed. It was like a pure white flower blooming amidst a frozen wasteland, stunning Ryuuske momentarily.

Her smile was pure and innocent, her flawless jade-like skin radiant.

"Hmph, you win again!" Sabrina's expression was one of resignation, yet it also seemed as if she'd expected this outcome. Against this man, she stood no chance—he outmaneuvered her every time.

But the true test of victory would come in their final battle!

"Here, take this!" Sabrina suddenly tossed something at Ryuuske.

*Snap!*

Ryuuske caught it and looked down—it was a USB drive.

"The data inside, and that Pokémon... I think you'll find them interesting."

Her cold voice lingered as a psychic wind swirled around her, enveloping both her and Koga. When the wind dissipated, only Ryuuske and Shigeru remained in the Pokémon Tower.

"My curiosity is instantly piqued. What exactly is in here?" Ryuuske tossed the USB in his hand, itching to open it. But first, he had to take care of Gary.
