"Cloy!"

Under Lorelei's command, Cloyster immediately fired an Ice Beam, freezing the pool. Ash, observing the terrain that favored Lorelei, said, "Build the strongest defense! Use Defense Curl and Light Screen!"

"Lucky!"

"Do you think I'll let Chansey build its defense? Cloyster, use Spike Cannon!"

"Cloy!"

Countless sharp spikes shot toward Chansey. Just as they were about to hit, Chansey acted first, using Defense Curl to curl up and quickly move, dodging the attack.

At the same time, Ash issued his next command.

"Get close and use Rock Slide!"

"Cloyster, dodge it!"

Seeing Chansey rapidly approaching Cloyster, Lorelei quickly ordered Cloyster to evade, well aware of Chansey's combat strength.

Cloyster swiftly moved on the ice, seemingly unwilling to engage in close combat with Chansey.

"Keep your distance and use Spike Cannon!"

"Cloy!"

Relying on its ability to move quickly on ice, Cloyster began kiting Chansey, while Chansey could only brace itself to block the attacks.

Ash frowned at Cloyster's agility and then said, "Destroy the terrain! Chansey, use Bajiquan! Tiger Climbs the Mountain!"

Ash's command left the audience stunned. In fact, they had already been amazed earlier. Although it seemed like both trainers were issuing commands casually, the on-field effects were terrifying. Cloyster's Spike Cannon didn't stop, shattering everything in its path, while Chansey also showcased its immense strength, occasionally dodging attacks with agile movements and setting up defenses.

"Is that Ash really a rookie?! He's holding his own against Master Lorelei! This can't be real!"

"Idiot! How can Cloyster's attacks be fake?! That Chansey's speed and defense are terrifyingly strong!"

"Bajiquan? What's that? A new move?!"

Just as everyone was puzzled, Chansey revealed a level of combat prowess that contrasted with its cute appearance.

As its palm struck the ice, cracks began to form, and soon the entire ice surface shattered!

"Cloyster, get into the water!"

"Cloy!"

Watching Cloyster enter the water, Lorelei breathed a sigh of relief. She didn't dare let Cloyster get close to Ash's Chansey, as Chansey's close combat abilities were too strong. However, she suddenly noticed a slight smirk on Ash's face and realized something.

"Oh no! Cloyster, get out!"

"Too late! Chansey, use Toxic to infect the entire pool!"

"Lucky!"

As the purple Toxic was thrown into the water by Chansey, Cloyster jumped onto the ice with a grim expression.

"Finish it! Use Egg Bomb!"

"Lucky!"

Pulling out an egg, Chansey threw it at Cloyster, and Lorelei could only make a last-ditch effort.

"Withdraw into your shell!"

"Cloy..."

Cloyster retreated into its shell just before the egg exploded, but when the smoke cleared, Cloyster was lying on the ice with swirls in its eyes.

"Cloyster is unable to battle! Oh my god! Lorelei's first Pokémon has been defeated!!!"

"Wow!!!!!" *N

The audience couldn't help but erupt in excitement. Everyone had witnessed the battle, and it was all about sheer skill. Cloyster freezing the pool and unleashing a relentless Spike Cannon would have instantly defeated an ordinary trainer, while Chansey's terrifying destructive power left everyone in awe. Shattering the entire pool with a single strike and then using Toxic was something unheard of.

Misty stared at the calm Ash on the battlefield and couldn't help but say, "I had no idea Ash was this strong..."

"Return, Cloyster. That was my mistake."

Recalling Cloyster, Lorelei looked at Ash and said, "This time, I forgot your Chansey knows Toxic."

"So, what are you going to do? Freezing the pool again won't help. Chansey is still full of energy."

Lorelei frowned as she looked at Ash's Chansey. She knew Chansey had incredible stamina, but she hadn't expected it to have such endurance.

"In that case, go, Dewgong!"

"Use Safeguard!" *2

As Ash and Lorelei commanded Dewgong and Chansey to use Safeguard together, they exchanged a glance and smiled at each other. Everyone was on the same page.

"Dewgong, use Ice Beam!"

"Ah!"

The pale beam shot rapidly towards Chansey, but Ash calmly said, "Multiple Light Screens, deploy."

"Lucky!"

As Chansey deployed multiple Light Screens, Dewgong's Ice Beam had no effect, but Lorelei's attack didn't stop.

"Ice Shard followed by Take Down!"

Upon hearing Lorelei's command, Dewgong instantly sprayed countless ice shards towards Chansey, blinding her, and then slammed into her body.

"Lucky!"

"How is this possible!" *N

A scene that shocked everyone unfolded. After being hit by Take Down, Chansey didn't budge at all and even grabbed Dewgong with her hand. Seeing Lorelei equally stunned, Ash didn't say much and simply commanded, "Throw it! Then hit it with Solar Beam!"

"You even taught her Solar Beam?!" Lorelei didn't expect Ash to be so ruthless as to teach Chansey so many moves.

Ash pulled out a black card and said, "With money, you can accomplish many things."

While they were talking, Chansey had already defeated Dewgong with Solar Beam. Watching Chansey's Kamehameha-like pose, Ash wanted to laugh but held it in.

"Return, Dewgong. That was too much, Ash. I didn't expect you to be so serious."

Recalling Dewgong, Lorelei wasn't angry, but her words sounded like a little girl throwing a tantrum, which gave Ash a chill.

"Alright, who's next? Don't let my Chansey sweep three in a row."

"Sorry, I won't let you succeed. Haven't you noticed that Chansey is completely soaked?"

Hearing Lorelei's words, Ash realized that Chansey was drenched from all the Ice-type moves. Seeing this, Ash knew things were about to go south because of that move they developed together that never misses when the target is wet.

"No way... Chansey! Use Fire Punch to evaporate the water! Quick!"

"This time you're too late, Ash! Lapras, Frozen Inferno!"

"Ah!"

With Lapras's cry, endless ice once again sealed the battlefield, and Chansey was frozen within, her Fire Punch extinguished.

"It's here! Lorelei's ultimate Ice-type move! Frozen Inferno! This is the move that even the Dragon-type Elite Four member Lance couldn't overcome! What will Ash do?"

This woman actually used that move...

Looking at Lorelei's smiling face, Ash was speechless. He never expected her to use the move they developed together against Chansey.

"You really went all out to deal with Chansey..."

Hearing Ash's words, Lorelei smiled even more. She softly said, "Your Chansey is such a tank. If I didn't control her immediately, she could keep using Soft-Boiled to recover, right?"

"Tch, that's why I don't like fighting with acquaintances... Sorry, I'll recall Chansey first..." With that, Ash stepped onto the field and sent out Growlithe and Charmander, saying, "Use Flamethrower to get Chansey out."

"Woof!"

"Lee!"

As the two little ones roasted the ice with flames, Chansey quickly broke free, though she was still shivering from the cold. Ash draped a blanket over her and had Charmander use its tail to warm her up while leading her off the field, comforting her, "You did well, Chansey. That move never misses when you're wet. You couldn't avoid it. Rest for now. Misty, please make Chansey a cup of hot chocolate, thank you."

Hearing Ash's call, Misty was momentarily stunned but quickly responded, "Okay!"

Ash then patted Meowth and said, "It's your turn now, Meowth."

"Got it, boss." Meowth looked at Lapras, wiped his new gold coin, and stepped onto the battlefield.
