On Sunday morning, a little military van stood in front of The Golden Apple to pick up Hermes and Magni. 

"Do I really have to use the guild's transpo for this?" Hermes scratched his head. "I can just commute. I'm used to doing that anyway during the holidays."

Somner shook his head. "You're officially a hero under the guild now. Which means that you deserve the rights to protection and security during your travels. There's so many possible attacks that can happen if you draw attention to yourself in public transpo."

"I feel like this would draw more attention though." 

Hermes gestured at the bulletproof van with built in radar and tiny missile launchers.

Magni just looked at the van in amazement. "You humans sure have fascinating ideas and creations. A moving beast made of metal… Which also shoots fire and metal! I love it! Brother Modi, let us mount this machine at once!"

"I'll help you haul your stuff, girly!" Victorina said, no longer in a wheelchair. 

The whole Cloud Nine Department was there to see him off, along with Eirwyn Curacio. Fiero and Cam were too busy doing their brainless shenanigans to help out. Not that they would even if they're not busy anyway.

But Victorina picked up Hermes and Magni's luggages like they were nothing. "Ohh, what's this little cooler thingy? For beer?"

Vera frowned. "Looks more like a storage box for specimens and samples."

Eirwyn scratched his head. "Ah, it's just a few medical supplements that I wanted to share with Hermes' village. Since it is close to a Danger Zone, there is a high possibility for Void radiation. They need to take their anti-mutagenic vaccines and pills, especially for any pregnant women near that area." 

While this was true, the box also has the blood vials that they got from Fiero, Victorina, and Cam. 

When Eirwyn mentioned mutations due to radiation, Hermes wondered if that must be the case for him. Did he mutate into a Voidling while he wasn't born yet? Could his parents be humans after all?

If so…. What happened to them?

Did he… cause their death?

Hermes shook his head. Assumptions wouldn't do anything good, he should just wait for an explanation from the villagers.

As all the bags were placed inside the military van, Somner tugged on Hermes' sleeves.

"Aren't you forgetting something, Master?~" He winked, whispering so none of the squad could hear him. 

Hermes looked around. "Ah, yes… Where should we do it though?"

"There's a perfectly positioned tree over there, big enough cover for two people." Somner grinned. "Let's go. Quickly!"

He pushed Hermes to the tree, and when they got behind it…

"So…" Somner went into pink mode again, his whole body shaking with excitement. "W-What do you want to do to me, Master?"

Hermes couldn't help himself from teasing Somner when he was in this state.
