Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 346: Upgrading The Metal Doll
"Master, you are finally here," Kaizo said, walking toward Kent, who appeared inside the Legion Tower.
"Yeah, that bat got me good in the last moments of the battle, so I had to sleep for a year." Kent smiled, remembering how the world spun around him when he landed on the ground.
"He got us good, Master, but I plan on getting back at him," Kaizo said, his unyielding personality oozing as he spoke.
"We will, buddy. The bat will regret coming against us."
If possible, Kaizo would want to go after the bat now. However, Kent already has things to do first, so the bat, who is fucked for life, can wait.
If the clone doesn't kill him, Kent will do it himself.
"How is your training coming along?" Kent asked.
"I have mastered all my skills and can now use them more actively without causing too much damage to my allies."
Kaizo is a brute fighter, so naturally, the damage he causes is more than enough to disturb his allies.
But he spent the past year training on how best to minimize how he affects his allies and how best to increase his offensive power.
"I see. But don't worry too much. The next opponent we'll be going after is already as good as dead." Kent and Kaizo smiled. They would be lying if they said the battle with the bat wasn't fun.
They had fun, and now, they want more.
"But how does this work? Do you, like, have memories of your past, or are you having some memories that show who you were? Or are you a blank slate?"
Kent created him, but he could tell by the way Kaizo behaved during the battle that he was someone with a lot of battle experience.
This means he might have been a warrior from somewhere.
"That's the thing, Master. I am a blank slate; however, I don't feel like that. It feels more like I have always been me. It doesn't feel like I have just been born," Kaizo explained, making Kent ponder something.
"Strange," Kent brushed his temple. "Your bloodline says you are from the Mountain Thunder Titan race. However, you don't remember ever being part of such a life."
"I am a new me, Master, and that is good enough for me," Kaizo smiled.
"I guess that's okay." Kent planned on getting deeper into this, mainly because he wanted to know more about his undead.
Kaizo is the first, and soon, he will be adding six more, all of whom are predicted to be at the Root Ascension stage. So, he wanted to know more about his first undead.
This will help him understand more about their nature and how best to create the new undead he plans to make right after he reviews what needs to be reviewed.
"Akira," Kent called out to the loli, who had been managing everything while Gaia worked on the projects she had been given.
⟪Good to see you are well, Master. For a moment there, I thought you had kicked the bucket.⟫
"Would you have cried?" Kent asked with a smirk.
⟪Probably not. I would have waited for you to reincarnate.⟫ Akira giggled, but lowkey, she was very happy with her master as well.
"How is Gaia doing?"
⟪Madam Perfection is placing some finishing touches on the projects. She will be done in a week's time.⟫
"That is good. I will just wait out the seven days on the outside, considering it will be seven hours there." Kent smiled, making Kaizo, who was told the same thing by the small human, smile as well.
"I need friends I can spar with. The Metal Dolls are too weak," Kaizo said, clenching his fist. Kent turned and looked at him with a smirk.
"You should find a hobby. A wise man once said, 'All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.'"
"Then why don't I go after those hateful bats? I say we destroy them to the last bat." Kaizo beat his chest, showing that he was ready for more fights.
The brute in him is just too much...
"We have battles to fight, and one of them is against an evil cultivator who must die screaming," Kent said with an evil smile.
"I will prepare then," Kaizo said, returning to resume training.
⟪I have divided the items into seven segments. Each is enough to create a powerful undead. I have also created one undead using the schematic builder and modified the two schematics.
You can make changes to it later, but I believe you will like them.⟫
"That is great, Akira. I will reward you later, but right now, I want to upgrade the Battle Doll. I am sure with the Meteor, it will become much more powerful."
⟪The master shouldn't worry about that. The earlier you do it, the faster you will gain another Transcendent on the team.
You have less than 15 days to go before the rescue quest runs out, and you will lose the benefits that were added.⟫
"Then let's do it." Kent summoned the doll and retrieved the meteor.
"Damn, it's heavy." The dark stone weighed heavier than it looked.
"What next?"
Akira gestured downward, and a spell circle appeared on the ground. The doll was standing inside the circle, and from the way it appeared, the circle was already affecting the stone.
⟪Place the stone inside the circle. Next time, you can just think it, and it will come.⟫
Kent added the stone and moved back. Immediately after he did, a message appeared.
⟪Upgrade in Progress⟫
→ Your Battle Doll is currently undergoing an upgrade. This process will take 2 days to complete.
→ No new items can be added during the process.
→ The moment it's done, you will receive a notification.
"Please tell me it's tower time," Kent said, looking at Akira, who was already smiling.
⟪Don't worry, master. Aside from the Creator Necromancer class, everything else runs on tower time.⟫
"That's good then." Kent also smiled. "Why don't we go commission a new undead? Since it uses the outside world time, I need to start early so I can be prepared by the time I get back to the sect."
⟪Okay, master, but we can only do one at a time.⟫
"No problem with that. Kaizo and I will raid one dungeon before the mission, so I'll have a dungeon boss on speed dial too."
⟪You are a learning master. Proud of you,⟫ Akira giggled, but before she knew it, Kent had picked her up like a bag of potatoes.
