Progenitor Vampire: I Have Many Skills!

Chapter 601: Very powerful enemies for such a weak side.

Following him inside, they entered a secret room where some people were waiting for him.

Matthew saw Gray Allen, Martin Allen, The Ruin, and the people of the Allen Clan in general, some powerful, others in charge of other matters. Among them were also Alice's grandfather and the Old Librarian, including a few strangers to him and only two additional familiar faces.

One of the familiar faces was Ava.

"It seems you have done an excellent job, Ava. Should I pay my respects to the new leader of the Underworld?" He smiled, joking.

Ava shook her head in frustration, but a smile of joy spread across her face. "I just hope you keep your word. I've already kept mine."

"Haha, good. Did you get everything ready?"

"Yes, but..."

"Come back then. Meet up with Alice, Isla, and Emma so you can take full control of this place. When I return, I'll ensure each of you receives your respective reward."

Ava stared at him for a few minutes, but knowing time was pressing, she eventually nodded and lowered her head.

"I understand." After that, she walked out the door with her head down, which made Matthew sigh.

"Your power has been a great help, Ava. Thanks to you, we've been able to create this route and make it viable in every way. So be proud," He spoke.

Ava seemed to react slightly to his words but continued on her way without looking back.

On the other side, Gray laughed a little.

"Haha, I guess having a lot of women has its drawbacks too."

"Sigh, you can say that again. It's always tedious; I understand the Young Master."

"Hahaha..."

The little jokes floated across the room until they stopped when Matthew took a step towards them.

"Is everything ready?" he asked.

Gray nodded.

"Completely. With the fall of Richter, they will be weakened to the point of desperation. It's now or never."

"Furthermore, it has been confirmed that the Relish and the Edevane have moved toward Zimmermann's Kingdom and will then depart for Central City for an important meeting with world leaders. It is said that a great Young Master will be present, but I am unsure of who he is. He is powerful and seems to be hiding."

Matthew nodded.

"They are preparing to receive several important people who are coming 'from the other side'. That's why they're moving like this."

"Is that why you decided to move now?" Gray asked.

"When you're dealing with such powerful people, taking them by surprise in a first, drastic move will always be compelling."

"I see..." He nodded gently. "What is this other side you speak of?"

Matthew sighed. "What lies on the other side of Vampire Limbo is a vast world, so vast that it makes this place where we live right now seem like just a small corner of it. That's where they come from; it's the real world behind the curtain."

"Huh? You mean there's an even bigger world on the other side?"

"That's what I said."

"So... then our mission should have been to get to the other side all along?"

"No. The mission on this side of the world was to wait for me."

"Wait for you?"

"I'll tell you the rest later. For now, we have tasks to attend to. Vampiric Limbo does not allow anyone very powerful to cross. I think my father did it to avoid it, but 10 million years have passed; it is possible that now more people can come through it, and they will become increasingly powerful. Besides, I'm afraid there are a few who are powerful enough to pass through without being stopped by it. So, now that you know where I am, we need to grow up as soon as possible."

Although his words were slightly confused, Gray Allen and the rest understood that they were facing imminent danger. They were on the right side of history, on the right side of the vampires who chose to follow their ancestors, but they were also possibly on the weaker side.

'... A vast world on the other side of Vampiric Limbo, where people possess more than 150,000 vampiric power, is perilous. One false move can destroy us all,' Gray thought.

He was worried; he still had people to protect. But he was also slightly anxious. Perhaps it was his abilities or mentality that drove him to fight those people.

"How powerful are those on the other side? How powerful is our side?" While everyone was deep in thought, one person among those present, belonging to one of the Independent Clans, couldn't help but ask.

Matthew looked at him and smiled slightly.

"On the other side are those capable of killing us with a finger. They may be the current rulers of the race. And our side... It's just us."

"What? Just us?"

"Yes, just us."

Seeing them so thoughtful in such a short time, Matthew smiled. "What? Feelings of betrayal blossoming within you? Hahaha, it's okay. Betrayal is a path to survival, so if your heart leans that way, I won't stop you. Choose the path you think is right, for my father gave you the freedom to do so." Despite saying so, Matthew took a few steps forward and placed a hand on the shoulder of the man who had asked the question.

"I'll just say that sooner or later, I'll grow up, and then all the traitors will fall. You know what? Neither my father nor I are afraid that the race can be eradicated because we started it once, and we can do it a second time. Clan Hill, powerful and great because of its evolutionary capacity, only has evolutionary capacity. But there are fewer and fewer vampires than there used to be."

"Only we, the Dietrichs, will be able to remain vampires forever. We can make them vampires forever. Anyone who has our blood will not degrade because we are the creators of this race. So, if I have to exterminate them all and start the race again, I will only apologize to my father when I go to see him in his death and tell him that I could not make the race adapt to the change of era, but that I refounded it when the new era was imposed."

"I'm not afraid of anyone, nor can anyone tie me down. Follow me; I'll reward you. Betray me; I'll destroy you. Can't you see? Life is simple." He smiled slightly and took a few steps further, toward a corner of the room that was illuminated by a special inscription.
