Konoha was beginning to recover from the chaos.

Whoosh!

Kaitan darted silently across the village, patrolling the area assigned to him by Yamanako. He stopped occasionally to use his Sensory Ninjutsu, ensuring he didn't miss anything. Despite his knowledge of future events, Kaitan understood the unpredictability of life as a ninja.

Complacency was not an option. In the aftermath of the Nine-Tails attack, the possibility of spies infiltrating Konoha loomed large. He knew well that every hidden village had its share of undercover agents like Kabuto. The chaos presented a golden opportunity for such individuals to act.

However, after a full day of patrolling, Kaitan encountered no immediate threats. Instead, he saw the people of Konoha slowly emerging from their grief, beginning to rebuild their homes and their lives.

A Visit to the Memorial Monument

As Kaitan approached the memorial monument, he stopped on a tree branch to observe quietly. There, he saw Iruka kneeling before the monument, a bouquet of white chrysanthemums in his hands, tears streaming down his face.

Kaitan lingered for a moment. He sympathized with Iruka's pain but knew there was little he could do. "The Third Hokage will comfort him later," Kaitan thought as he resumed his patrol.

Iruka wasn't the only one grieving. The village was filled with those who had lost loved ones. Kaitan's heart ached at the sight, but he steeled himself. There was still work to be done.

Mastering the Teleportation Technique

During his patrol, Kaitan seized every opportunity to practice the Teleportation Technique. His natural reflexes and learning ability made the technique relatively easy to master. Alongside the standard D-rank Teleportation Jutsu, he incorporated techniques learned from other villages' ninjas.

Occasionally, Kaitan crossed paths with fellow Konoha shinobi on patrol. One such encounter raised his suspicions.

"Did he just give a secret signal?" Kaitan wondered, his sharp eyes catching a subtle hand motion from a passing ninja. Before he could investigate further, the ninja vanished in a blur.

A Warm Welcome at Ichiraku Ramen

When night fell, Kaitan's shift ended, and he handed over the patrol to another team. Exhausted but satisfied, he headed to Ichiraku Ramen, where Rin awaited him with a warm meal.

"Kaitan, thank you for your hard work," Rin greeted him, her smile melting his fatigue.

"Ah, it smells amazing! Your cooking has surpassed even your father's," Kaitan teased as he began eating.

Dunko, standing nearby, pretended to be offended. "Watch your words, brat! My cooking is legendary!" he grumbled, though his grin betrayed his pride.

"Of course, Uncle Dunko's ramen is the best in the world!" Kaitan laughed, quickly backtracking to appease him.

Rin giggled, leaning her chin on her hands as she watched Kaitan eat. "You're hopeless," she said, her eyes full of affection.

A New Idea

After dinner, Kaitan returned home and immersed himself in crafting bamboo figurinesβ€”a skill he had inherited from his father, Dunko. Despite his limited dexterity due to an old injury, his nimble fingers made quick work of the reeds, transforming them into a delicate dragonfly figurine.

"Dad, can you teach me how to fold this?" Kaitan asked suddenly, holding up a simple figure.

Dunko frowned. "Why the sudden interest? Planning to make gifts for Rin?"

Kaitan grinned. "That's not a bad idea, but I actually have something else in mind. I've been working on a new secret technique, and this skill is perfect for it."

Dunko raised an eyebrow. "A secret technique? Why haven't I heard about this before?"

"I only developed it recently," Kaitan explained. "I haven't had a chance to test it in combat yet."

Reluctantly, Dunko agreed to teach him. However, he was soon taken aback by Kaitan's astonishing speed.

In less than an hour, Kaitan had not only mastered the basics but also created intricate designs that even Dunko struggled with.

"How are you this good already?" Dunko muttered, wiping sweat from his brow.

Kaitan simply shrugged. "It's not that hard, really."

By the end of the evening, Kaitan had crafted a lifelike bamboo figure of Rin.

"You're on your own now," Dunko said, shooing Kaitan away. "I'm done teaching you. Go bother someone else!"

Kaitan chuckled and returned to his room, eager to test his new idea.

The Eye-Dotting Hand

Sitting cross-legged on the floor, Kaitan carefully infused chakra into the figurine of Rin. He performed a series of hand seals, releasing his newly developed secret technique:

"Secret Technique: Eye-Dotting Hand."

As the chakra settled into the figurine, it began to move. To an observer, the figurine would appear to transform into a living, breathing version of Rin. The illusion was so convincing that even Kaitan felt a brief flicker of doubt.

"This is incredible," Kaitan murmured, watching the animated figure perform basic ninja moves.

The Eye-Dotting Hand was the culmination of Kaitan's studies in Genjutsu and his unique ability to manipulate memories. By reversing the principles of mind-reading techniques, he could implant his own combat experience into the figurine. When viewed by others, the figure became a living entity within their minds, seamlessly blending reality with illusion.

While similar to the Super Beast Imitating Drawing, Kaitan's technique was rooted in physical craftsmanship rather than ink and paper. It aligned perfectly with the Yin Release's principle of creating something from nothing.

Future Potential

Kaitan smiled as he observed the figurine. "There's still room for improvement," he thought. The current version required a significant amount of preparation and couldn't yet be used in combat. However, he was confident that with time and practice, the Eye-Dotting Hand would become a formidable weapon in his arsenal.

"I'll keep refining it," Kaitan vowed. "But I can't neglect my duties with the analysis team either."

For Kaitan, the journey toward mastery was far from over. The path ahead would be challenging, but he welcomed it with unwavering determination.
