The first rewards to be announced were for the first quest's leaderboard ranking.

As soon as they were announced and people saw the rewards, Almond heard a flood of congratulations in Soul Network, all of them directed towards Supreme Emperor Yezewan.

"Ascension Ticket looks like a big deal," Admiral Rudra muttered as he heard the chatter in the soul network.

It wasn't long before they got the answer about what it was.

It turned out that the Ascension Ticket would allow one to ascend to the third layer with their followers!

"Is it really that hard to ascend to the third layer?" Admiral Rudra wondered.

"From what Big D told me, yes," Almond nodded. "One has to win in Ascension Games, and Supreme Emperors also need followers to win. Followers have it easy because even if they are weaker, they can ascend together with the leader."

"Given these conditions, it's safe to assume that the dynamic and structure of the third layer must be something entirely different," Admiral Rudra wryly smiled. "I can't even begin to imagine it."

"We'll see it," Almond grinned. "Once we win and ascend."

By now, he had also decoded the message his mother had gotten from someone called Devil Rosseramon, and that being was indeed from the third layer.

Almond still didn't know why he took his mother, and he didn't know anything about his father yet.

Even if they were his second mother and father, he felt a connection with them. Especially as he got stronger. He wanted to find her and save her if she was in trouble! Now that he knew about her, he wanted to reach her and talk!

But Almond was soon snapped out of his reverie as the reward for the emergency quest also arrived, and everyone got the notification.

1st Rank: Almond Regalon Crowshade—Blade Throne of Unraveling Rift.

2nd Rank: Lily Regalon Darkwood—Dreadspire Sovereign of Achromatic Throne.

—> 1 x Revival, 1 x Wish Stone.

3rd Rank: Yezewan Theodar Vishanka—Emberlord of Sundering Dominion.

—> 1 x Wish Stone.

4th to 10th Rank:

—> Custom Scroll of Enlightenment.

11th to 25th Rank:

—> Custom Scroll of Insight.

Looking at the rewards, Almond and Admiral Rudra were shocked.

"Wow, you two are getting revivals, eh? That's wonderful."

Almond blinked, surprised. He wasn't expecting to get revivals!

Now he could get reckless again and die to meet that mysterious entity again!

'I have to choose a good topic to die on. Better to die while comprehending void or something,' Almond's eyes glinted.

Getting up after putting Lily's head gently on the ground, Almond said, "Since we are done here, let's leave and return to our planet."

"After giving your contact to the ruling forces," Admiral chuckled.

Almond grinned, "Yep. We'll get collaboration requests soon."

Almond puts Lily inside a pocket spatial dimension before leaving Sylvia's Warden Grove and putting her in the Spirit Realm.

Afterward, Almond went around collecting other Regalon groups, teleporting them directly back to the planet along with Admiral Rudra.

"Here," Almond said as he gave a card to Simon.

"Leaving already?" Simon smiled as he grabbed the card. "I really envy space masters sometimes."

Almond smiled. "You can give this contact's Cosmiclite Numbers to others if they ask. We are open for collaboration for any kind of expedition into the arcane dimensions for resources."

"Sure thing. We exhausted a lot of our resources this time, so we'll contact you soon."

While Almond left and returned to the planet, the video footage of combat and other data was sent to the Arcadia Spectrum, the hub of the Supreme Emperors and their followers. The place where Supreme Emperors can participate in the Ascension Games.

The Supreme Emperor belonging to the Gezero Dynasty called some other allied Supreme Emperors to measure and assess Almond and Lily.

When they reached the part where Hollow Defiler had arrived, all of them looked on with flickering eyes full of focus.

"Interesting."

"This pair is quite talented."

"Quite talented? They are monsters! Reminded me of that guy who ascended two hundred years ago."

"Their conceptual powers and how they've developed them are very strong."

"And Innate Talents. With how they are bending and applying effects, their wills are top-notch, especially that guy."

"And what's with those armors? I thought they were Immortal Emperor armors, but that's not the case, eh?"

"Yeah, we can't learn much about them from the video, but they seem special."

"I would say their Ability Power has already reached the peak given that they managed to defeat Hollow Defilers by being able to weaken them while boosting themselves, but judging from how their Ability Tree works and their previous fights against Griminions, they can get stronger against stronger monsters, especially against those with lower willpower," Lloyd Gezero said as he narrowed his eyes.

"True. Against those whose will has touched the second layer's ceiling, they still lack a lot."

"But they are worthy of entering Arcadia Spectrum. And the reward they just got is going to make them stronger."

"Lloyd, are you planning to recruit them as your followers?"

"Pff, they don't seem the type to become followers."

"If they become my followers, I can ascend in the next game."
