Chapter 678: New Fate Change System

Chiron was jolted out of his thoughts by a sudden, crisp alert from the system in his mind.

<System Upgrade Complete. Would you like to access?>

Without hesitation, Chiron sent his consciousness into the depths of his mind. What greeted him left him utterly astounded.

Where there had once been a clunky, old gaming-style interface, he now stood within an entirely different realm. It was vast, endless, and awe-inspiring, like stepping into a sanctum of divine power. The space was gilded with luminous gold, towering pillars stretching into infinity. Segments of the system floated in mid-air like ethereal screens, but they were no longer rigid or pixelated; they pulsed with life and energy, interactive in ways he'd never thought possible.

Directly before him, a massive golden inscription hung in the air, shimmering with authority:

**Fate Change System.**

Chiron's breath caught. This was not just an upgrade—it was a complete evolution.

He hurried to the system interface, eager to assess his current stats. But as he did, his eyes widened in surprise. The familiar "Fate Points" section was gone. In its place stood a new term: **Faith Points.**

"What...?" Chiron muttered to himself, trying to make sense of it.

He glanced around, seeking clarity, and his gaze fell upon the chandeliers above him. They floated gracefully, ornate and massive, their golden frames glinting in the ambient light. But they were oddly empty, devoid of jewels or crystals. All except one.

Curious, Chiron approached the lone chandelier that held a few crystals—four to be exact. He reached out and gently plucked one. The moment he touched it, a shimmering screen materialized before him:

**<Faith Crystal>**

"What's this?" he asked aloud.

The system's voice responded in its familiar, emotionless tone:

<Faith Crystals are condensed manifestations of the faith your followers have in you. Each crystal reflects the depth and quality of their belief.>

"Faith?" Chiron's brow furrowed.

As he examined the crystals, he noticed that each one was a deep red, though one was noticeably richer in color, almost glowing with vitality. His curiosity piqued, he selected the reddest crystal and, without overthinking, took a bite.

The moment the fruit-like crystal dissolved in his mouth, an intense surge of power coursed through his veins.

**<+30 Strength>**

Chiron gasped as his body thrummed with newfound energy. "This...this is incredible!"

The system explained further, detailing how the faith crystals varied in quality and potency depending on the strength of his followers' belief. The reddest crystal, it turned out, belonged to Emma, his most devout servant.

Then again, he was not surprised by this assement. Emma had long given her body, soul, and her entire existence to chiron's course. She was even willing to go with his plan that lasted a good five years, when he was absent for most of it. She was certainly the most devoted.

However, after consuming the fruit, it would take a long while before a new one would grow in its place.

Chiron gazed upward again, his eyes trailing over the countless chandeliers stretching into the infinite expanse above him. Most were still empty, lifeless and barren. But now, he understood.

This was not just a place—it was a farm. A celestial vault designed to cultivate faith, to turn belief into power. Each crystal, each fruit, could enhance his strength, unlock items, or even wield unimaginable abilities depending on the devotion it carried.

A chilling smile spread across Chiron's face as realization dawned. The vast potential above him was staggering, and all it required was one thing: followers.

His consciousness retreated to the real world, and the light of the system faded. There was more to discover about the system, but he had to do this now. After all, he needed to align with his current plans.

Besides, there was also the fact that he wanted to head into godhood, and now a lot of things made more sense.

For example, the shrines that mortals built to the gods, the worship. Even the seven virtues all had people to worship them and the reason that the Holy church was constantly expanding. It was all in the constant pursuit of the harvesting of faith.

This revelation was mind blowing. Chiron did not know why he had never thought about that before. His initial plan had been simple. he wanted to go and conquer other Forbidden cardinal zones. So that for his next ascension into becoming a demi god and possibly godhood, he would have strong grounds, but now, he was going to have to make a lot of adjustments to his plan.

Luckily for him, he had already acquired the blood cursed. he roughly had the tools that would help him secure a much brighter future.

Chiron's eyes snapped open. Without wasting a second, he rose to his feet, his pulse racing with purpose. He could not afford to delay. The empty chandeliers were a challenge, a call to action.

With a cold grin, Chiron turned and made haste, heading back to his followers with renewed determination. The seeds of their faith would not only be his salvation—they would be his ultimate power.

Aside, carla who was still recovering, the others were actually on alert. in fact, Chiron got to discover that Hunter had secretly followed him as he had gone about his business.

"Hunter take your sister, it is time to move." Chiron ordered.

Emma was confused as to what he meant. "Master, where are we going? We are wanted across the..." She suddenly shut her mouth as Chiron waved his hand and a mass of gas appeared.

Chiron smiled at them as he worked through the mass of gas. Hunter who had picked up the resting Carla put her on his back and then followed along and so did Emma.

On coming out the other side, Emma was surprised to see where they were. before her was an old castle that looked like the maker was poor with archectural delivery, and this building should have long collapsed but had not because of the golden runes that ran on its body.

"Master... Where are we?"
