Chapter 50: Chapter 48: Glasses
I know that many of you did not read Lookism, and i suggest you to do so or you will not understand the lore behind everything, i know the first 200 chapters of the manhwa are a bit slow with an horrible art, but believe me, it's peak.
There's the 1st season on Netflix or streaming sites if you want to watch the anime.
Or just go on YouTube and watch the recap.

I opened my eyes to the sight of a crowd bustling around the building. The faint chatter of voices filled the air, mixing with the occasional sound of footsteps echoing against the sleek floors. My gaze scanned the room, catching a glimpse of Charles Choi and Steve Hong parting ways at the far end of the hall.
Charles, ever the picture of authority, didn't spare anyone a second glance as he walked away with his usual commanding presence.
As I looked closer, my attention shifted to someone approaching Charles, Johan Seong. The sight of him was enough to make me pause. He clutched his backpack tightly, his posture rigid yet desperate. From the way he spoke, it wasn't hard to guess what he was asking for: his mother's surgery.
But Charles? Charles didn't even give him the dignity of acknowledgment. His voice was cold and detached, as though Johan wasn't even worth his time.
"There shouldn't be any crew in the future as well." Charles stated, his words as final as a gavel striking down.
Johan's voice trembled as he called out to him, "Sir!" but Charles ignored him. Instead, he gave a subtle nod in Goo's direction. "Take care of him, Goo."
I smiled at the sight of Charles's back retreating from the scene, his figure disappearing into the crowd. Classic Charles. Always playing the long game, always one step ahead.
I ducked behind a pillar, leaning casually as I observed the unfolding drama. Timing is everything, after all, and I wanted my entrance to be just right.
From my hiding spot, I saw Goo step up to Johan. His signature grin stretched across his face, equal parts playful and cruel. And then, with that same casual air, Goo kicked.
Johan raised his backpack just in time, blocking the strike. The sound of the impact was sharp, echoing through the space. Johan staggered slightly but held his ground, his grip on the bag tightening.
And then, just as I was about to move, a familiar chime filled my ears, and my vision blurred for a moment. A notification window appeared before me.

Quest: Take Goo's Glasses.
---
I sighed. Of course. Another "quest" as if this situation wasn't ridiculous enough already. Still, I couldn't ignore it. Not that I minded, though. Making a flashy entrance and humiliating Goo? That's a win-win.
I straightened up, slipping my hands into my pockets as I began walking toward them. My steps were slow and deliberate, the sound of my boots against the polished floor drawing just enough attention to announce my presence.
Goo glanced in my direction first, his grin widening slightly as though he found the interruption amusing. Johan's eyes darted to me next, confusion flickering across his face.
"Goo." I called out, my tone calm yet loud enough to carry. I kept walking, my gaze fixed on him. "I need to borrow your glasses."
Their reactions told me I had their attention now. Perfect. Let the fun begin.
....
Goo looked at me with a playful grin, tilting his head slightly. "Hey, who the hell are you?" he asked, his tone more amused than curious.
I sighed, letting my hands rest in my pockets. "Just a blind man searching for some glasses." I replied calmly, my gaze fixed on the reflection of the lenses that shone faintly under the fluorescent light.
Goo blinked, as if processing my words, and then, to my surprise, he chuckled. "Hah! That's a good one." He took off his glasses, holding them delicately in one hand. "Well then, here you go, blind man." he said, stretching his hand toward me.
I moved my hands slowly, feigning hesitation, when suddenly the glasses blurred in his hand. In a flash, Goo flicked the frames at high speed straight toward my eyes, the sharp edge slicing through the air like a blade.
I bent down instinctively, feeling the sharp breeze pass over my hair, and immediately unleashed an uppercut aimed directly at his jaw. My fist connected with a satisfying thud, sending a shockwave through his body. Goo clenched his teeth, his eyes snapping shut from the force while making a comical face, as his feet left the ground momentarily.
"Holy!" he grunted, his body lifting ever so slightly before another shadow moved in from above.
Johan.
Descending like a hawk, Johan unleashed a roundhouse kick aimed squarely at Goo's head. The impact was thunderous, a loud crack echoing as Goo's body was sent flying across the hallway, colliding into a wall and cracking it.
Johan landed gracefully in front of me, his gaze as cold looking at Goo. Before I could even comment on his timing, he snapped at me. "Stay out of this. Fuck off."
I chuckled. "Relax, I'm here to help you jump him. Two-on-one seems fair."
Johan glared at me, clearly unimpressed, before turning his attention back to Goo, who was already pulling himself up.
Goo wiped the blood trickling down his nose with his sleeve, adjusting his glasses with a grin. "You two are a real pain in the ass." he said, his tone a mixture of irritation and amusement. "Alright, let's dance."
He dashed forward, faster than either of us expected. His punch landed squarely on Johan's ribs, sending him skidding back. Before I could capitalize on the moment, Goo spun on his heel and drove a kick toward my chest. I crossed my arms to block, but the force of the impact sent me stumbling.
This guy was strong, even without any weapons.
Johan rushed forward again, his movements fluid and precise as he shifted between styles. First, he mimicked Gun's Kyokushin Karate, his punches short and explosive. Goo matched him with ease, parrying and sidestepping while retaliating with brutal jabs that struck Johan's shoulders and torso.
As they clashed, I saw my opening. I darted toward Goo, aiming to snatch his glasses mid-combo.
"Hey, hey!" Goo shouted, his voice almost panicked as he ducked under my swipe and leapt backward. "The glasses stay on!"
He adjusted them again, grinning nervously, but the grin quickly turned into a frown when Johan swept his legs out from under him. Goo fell, but before Johan could capitalize, Goo rolled away and sprang back up with a vengeance, launching a rapid series of punches and kicks that forced us both to dodge.
The battle began to move through the building. Each impact of our strikes sent shockwaves through the walls and floors. Office desks were flipped over, glass shattered, and walls cracked as we traded blows.
Johan drove an elbow toward Goo's head, which he narrowly avoided, but not before I slipped in behind him. My hand was inches from the glasses.
"Oh no you don't!" Goo yelped, ducking at the last second. His ass slammed into me, sending me stumbling.
Disgusting!
I clicked my tongue. "You're awfully attached to those things."
"They make me look cool, blind man!" Goo retorted, swinging an exaggerated punch toward me, which I sidestepped easily.
Johan used the distraction to go low, aiming for Goo's legs with a sweep kick. Goo jumped, but his glasses slid down his nose mid-air. He scrambled to push them back up, his face a mixture of panic and determination.
This was my chance.
I lunged again, my fingers brushing the frames before Goo twisted mid-air, kicking my wrist away. "Stop trying to take my damn glasses!" he roared, visibly annoyed now.
"That's the quest." I said flatly, stepping back into position.
"Quest?!" Goo's face twisted in confusion for half a second before Johan drove a knee into his stomach, forcing a grunt out of him and sending him stumbling back.
But even then, Goo grinned through the pain. Blood dripped from his lips, his knuckles cracked as he raised his fists again. "This is fun. Let's keep going."
I exchanged a glance with Johan, who was clearly not thrilled about my involvement but seemed resigned to it now.
"Fine." Johan muttered, rushing forward again.
The battle continued, with Goo's glasses becoming the unintended centerpiece of chaos. Every time he adjusted them, I made a move to snatch them, and every time, Goo's reflexes saved him, just barely.
Or so it seemed, i could clearly see how he moved just enough for my every attack to be nullified, his panic was almost comical, but it didn't make him any less dangerous.
Damn! This mf is a master actor.
While trying to grab his glasses he made me grap his pants, showing his bare ass in the air, he shouted with tears "Waahhh help!" As he bended down moving the cheeks close to me.
"Fuck!" I cursed as a fart got thrown at my face.

I tried to make the speech less boring here, i hope i succeeded.
