Chapter 33: The Seven Deadly Sin

The second man was even more unsettling. Now free from the insect swarm, his true attire was revealed—a wide, flowing white robe that covered his entire body. But despite the looseness of the fabric, it couldn't hide how unnaturally thin he was. His exposed skin looked mummified, dry and withered like aged parchment. His face was eerily pale, with sunken eyes and a pair of sharp, triangular pupils filled with bitter resentment. The lower half of his face was completely hidden beneath his robes, much like Katakuri from One Piece, as if he refused to let others see his mouth.,Everything about him oozed malice.

Name: Envy

Strength: A-

Nen Type: Materialization

Abilities: He possesses the ability to create and control various poisonous insects, each carrying unique and deadly effects. His entire body is toxic, making even the slightest contact lethal.

Among his creations are the Breathless Bugs, which mimic "Zetsu", allowing them to erase their presence completely. The Corpse Insects feed on the lingering remnants of Death Aura, slowly consuming its traces. Paralysis Mites release an anesthetic virus, numbing their prey before they even realize they've been bitten.

His power reaches its peak when consumed by extreme Envy. At this moment, he can sacrifice his own vitality to create an Insect King—a monstrous creature born from his Nen and poisoned flesh. The Insect King briefly ascends to A+ level strength, an unstoppable force of destruction, but its life is fleeting, dying within minutes of its creation.

Larry's expression remained unreadable, but inwardly, he processed everything at lightning speed. One was a berserker who got stronger the more he fought. The other was a venomous manipulator who could kill with a touch. Both were stronger than Satotz and Piyon . And they were after him.

Wrath cracked his knuckles, grinning wildly. "Hey, kid. Do us a favor and come quietly. I really don't wanna mess up that pretty little face of yours." Envy didn't speak. But his poisonous aura was already leaking out. The cave instantly felt colder.

Their Aura erupted like twin pillars of light, making them resemble Super Saiyans in the dim cave. The sheer force of their aura kicked up powerful gusts of wind, sending dust and debris swirling through the air. The long-sealed stench of decay filled the cave, making it hard to breathe.

"Piyon … those two… they can't be—" Satotz's usually steady voice wavered slightly. His thick, curly mustache trembled as he swallowed hard, his hands tensing at his sides.

Piyon 's expression darkened as she gripped her rabbit-eared phone tightly. "Yeah…" she muttered grimly, her fingers pressing directly onto an emergency beacon. "From their appearance… and what they just said… there's no doubt about it. They're from the Seven Deadly Sins—Wrath and Envy."

Larry's gaze flickered with interest at the name. His ability could analyze a person's strength and Nen ability, but it didn't provide background information. Now, with Piyon 's explanation, he finally understood what they were dealing with.

The Seven Deadly Sins—a notorious criminal organization, as infamous as the Phantom Troupe. But unlike the Troupe, they were considered far more dangerous. The Phantom Troupe was classified as an A-Class threat. The Seven Deadly Sins were ranked S-Class.

Each of the Seven embodied a deadly sin, and their Nen abilities reflected their titles—strange, unpredictable, and overwhelmingly powerful. Their leader, Pride, was rumored to be the strongest among them. At one point, V5 had even considered hiring the Zoldyck family to eliminate him. However, the request had never been approved—the price the Zoldycks demanded was unprecedentedly high.

The two men standing before them—Wrath and Envy—were infamous in their own right. Wrath was known for his savage brutality. He took pleasure in torture, was simple-minded, and easily provoked. His Nen ability allowed him to heal himself by inflicting damage on others—making him especially dangerous in group battles and wars of attrition.

Envy, on the other hand, was twisted beyond belief. He had a special fondness for killing prodigies before they could fully mature. Rumors said he had been raised in a primitive, cult-like tribe, where he had been groomed as a living host for poisonous insects. His entire body had become a breeding ground for deadly parasites, and under his robe, his flesh was riddled with holes.

Larry processed everything quickly. From what Piyon described, the members of the Seven Deadly Sins all fell within the A-Class range. If that were true, then Pride—being their strongest—might actually reach S-Class. '…No, that's unlikely.' Even within the world's strongest hunters, S-Class was an extreme rarity. It was more reasonable to assume that Pride's power was in the range of A+ to S-.

Still, for an organization to be composed entirely of A-Class criminals… it was no wonder they were considered so dangerous. And from the atrocities Piyon mentioned, their crimes far exceeded anything the Phantom Troupe had done. 'No wonder they're ranked at S-Class.'

Piyon had explained everything in under a minute, but on the other side, Wrath and Envy didn't seem to care. They stood there, watching, grinning. They wanted to see fear in Larry's expression. They wanted to see the same look of terror and despair that everyone showed when they realized who they were facing. They thought of themselves as hunters… and Larry, Piyon , and Satotz as nothing more than helpless prey.

When Piyon finished speaking—her voice trembling slightly—but Larry's expression remained completely calm. No panic. No fear. Just cold indifference.

The two criminals instantly scowled. It infuriated them. "Oi… kid…" Wrath cracked his knuckles, his eyes burning with Wrath and bloodlust. "You don't look scared. You look down on us?" He grinned wide, baring his teeth. "I've decided—I'll tear off your limbs before handing you over to Lust. Your Nen will still be usable that way!" His facial muscles twisted, forming a disturbing grin.

Envy suddenly spoke up, stopping Wrath before he could lunge. "Wait. You can do whatever you want with the two men—But don't touch the rabbit just yet. She's a Zodiacs… If we touch her, we can't rule out the chance of Netero coming after us. We aren't ready to fight people at that level yet."

"Tch, fine!" Wrath stomped his foot into the rock-hard ground, and the impact shattered it instantly. A deep crater formed beneath him, spiderweb fractures spreading outward like an earthquake. Then, like a bullet fired from a railgun— Wrath launched himself forward.

BOOM!

He closed the distance in an instant, his massive fist surging with blood-red Nen, brimming with raw destruction. The sheer force of his attack sent shockwaves through the cave, making the walls tremble. The punch rushed toward Larry's face—But it never connected. Instead— Another fist met it halfway.

BANG!

The moment their fists collided, a deafening impact tore through the cavern. The air shook violently from the sheer force, as if two meteors had just crashed into each other. For the first time since arriving— Wrath's grin disappeared.
