Rebirth in Journey to the West: Sun Wukong

The three Domain Kings of the Tianyi Alliance were about to chase after them when the Immortal Island suddenly shook violently. Columns of fire shot out from the ground again, scaring the three into retreating hastily. By the time the fire columns disappeared, the palace had returned to its small appearance from before.

"Damn it, weren't the restrictions broken by Sun Wukong? How did they recover so fast?"

The three Domain Kings of the Tianyi Alliance were indignant but helpless. They had to work together to break the prohibition again. However, unlike Sun Wukong, they didn't have the Void-Breaking Moon Eyes to directly solve the world's formations and prohibitions. They could only slowly decompose the prohibitions bit by bit with brute force.

Inside the palace, Sun Wukong and the others appeared at the end of a corridor.

"Monkey, I noticed you seemed to do something when you came in just now. You didn't play some trick on those three guys behind us, did you?"

Luo Bai looked at Sun Wukong, chuckling mischievously as he asked.

"Wow, you've got sharp eyes, noticing even that!"

Sun Wukong raised an eyebrow, a wicked smile appearing at the corner of his mouth. "Actually, it's nothing much; I just casually restored the prohibition that I had broken earlier."

"Casually restored?"

Luo Bai and Leng Xuan exchanged a knowing smile, "Monkey, your casual restoration will probably cost them half a day's effort! Those three are likely cursing us at this moment!"

"That's none of old Sun's business!"

Sun Wukong shrugged, "Old Sun worked so hard to break the prohibition, and they want to just follow in easily and take advantage? Not a chance!"

"Haha, exactly! We've always taken advantage of others, when is it others' turn to take advantage of us? If they try, break their hands!"

Luo Bai laughed loudly, then his expression turned serious. "Monkey, there's more to this palace than meets the eye. I doubt this corridor is easy to traverse. We should be careful and set out now, right? The sooner we enter the depths of the hall, the sooner we can find treasures, isn't it?"

"Treasure, treasure, that's all you know!"

Leng Xuan glared at Luo Bai, "Is the leader someone who loses himself at the sight of treasure? If this Heavenly Que Realm is indeed the ruins of the Ancient Heavenly Court, there's a reason it opens every hundred thousand years. Sun Wukong didn't want to hide anything from Luo Bai and Leng Xuan. Initially, he hadn't thought much about the inheritance of the Heavenly Que Realm's master. He just believed that entering the Heavenly Que Realm would surely yield results, greatly beneficial for the future enhancement of his cultivation strength.

But after hearing from the Battle God Monkey Emperor, Sun Wukong's thoughts changed. Since there was such a benefit as the Heavenly Que Realm's master's inheritance, wouldn't it be a shame not to strive for it? Later regrets would surely plague him!

Drawing the Ruyi Golden-Hooped Rod from his ear, he carefully walked into the corridor. Luo Bai and Leng Xuan exchanged a glance, drew their respective weapons, and with Primordial Force coursing through their bodies, followed Sun Wukong step by step into the corridor.

"Left front has a prohibition, move diagonally one step to the right Kun position!"

With every two steps, Sun Wukong would remind Luo Bai and Leng Xuan behind him.

Fortunately, Luo Bai and Leng Xuan were behind, pressing against his back to help neutralize the backward force. Otherwise, his foot might have stepped onto the prohibition behind.
