reborn as a shadow monarch in an Anime verse

Loyd was walking down the streets it was dark and he had finished his job with a rich client. As people recommended him. Making Loyd have better opportunities in making money. 

(At least I didn't get some weirdo)

Loyd had a weird client well an old lady a rich one at that who had a nail fetish. Asking him for his making Loyd bolt out of there. 

"A breath of fresh air"

Muttering in a low voice as the cold winds brushed against his face. He was going to be here for a month then come back because why not he wanted to visit japan. A cultured country that he enjoyed himself in. 

As he walked, he accidentally bumped into someone.

"Careful"

"So-*hic* Sorry! Tehee~"

Seeing the person in front of him his eyes widened with surprise. The beautiful girl resembled Ai hoshino well it was actually her without the mask as she wore a hat and hoodie. She was drunk by the looks of it as she stumbled passing him. 

(Wait a minute...the chances of her being here, I guess I shouldn't be surprised if people from what I watched back in my last life was appeared here but this world had no supernatural no mana in the air....she is drunk too being underage...)

Loyd was perplexed why she was drinking underage was she just hanging out with someone or just straight wanting to try out beer.

No mask too as she is lucky that no one recognized her in this state such luck she had. 

"Goodness....I guess I should expect other characters from anime to appear like this?"

He came with the conclusion that might as well accept the fact. 

(I guess I should follow to just see if she's okay)

She looked younger than she was and Loyd thought that she was definitely not a mother yet. But who knows.

Instantly Loyd vanished and appeared in Ai's shadow observing her walking drunkily as she tried her best to walk normal.

"I can't *hic* believe that beer really helps *hic*"

She looked like a lost lamb not knowing where she is going and loyd well didn't know where she lived so he might as well see her safe. 

(Should I just put her at a motel she is just so lost)

Loyd didn't want to just appear and say to her that she should go to a motel to rest then go home. It would look creepy.

Until a group of guys that didn't look like they were scholars.

"Hey cutie want to hang out with us?"

They saw her drunk but at least they didn't know of her identity. As she was famous but huge famous yet. One of the guys grabbed Ai's shoulder making her flinch as she was drunk but had a slight understanding in what's going on.

"I'm good *hic* I'm tired and I need to go home"

She tried to pull away from them as she felt nervous but she felt weak being drunk. But the the guy with his hand on her shoulder had a tight grip .

"We'll help you with your tiredness besides being with us can be fun"

He had a grin a dirty one as they had a woman in their ranks but she could care less what would happen to Ai. Busy clinging to her man's arm who was looking at this with a smirk. He could use her as a way to have his underlings be grateful more to him.

"Let me *hic* go"

She spoke meekly not seeming to be able to escape their clutches.

"It's best if you listen"

Loyd materialized in the corner and appeared now gripping the mans head as he felt the strength behind the grip as he squirmed in pain. 

"Gaaaah! It hurts motherfucker!"

The other three looked while the leader and his girl had an amused expression. Same with the others then one of them became angry.

"Let him go bastard you messed with the wrong people trying to act like a hero"

"Oh really?"

[My liege let me handle these monkey's for you they're not worth your time)

A shadow appeared making the guys eyes widened at the shadowy figure. As then they felt a monstrous killing instinct directing towards them. Making them instantly pale as the one who was angry cowered as he nervously stepped back.

"W-What is t-that!?"

He exclaimed as the shadow figure that appeared beside Loyd was someone who resembled the man himself geto.

"Go ahead"

Geto talked with him telepathically which Loyd does with all his soldiers.

"Alright you filthy monkey's I think you don't know what sort of position you should be when addressing my liege"

Geto aura suffocated them all as Loyd threw the man he had his hand on towards his friends. As he then grabbed Ai in a princess carry as the scene made her faint. Walking away geto was making them scream as he had a grin on his face.

"Your mere presence can stain him"

Loyd had was sitting on the edge of the bed as he took Ai to the motel. He had tucked her in as she slept peacefully.

As he was about to leave he felt a hand on his arm. 

"T-Thank you"

Ai had woken up and was now more sober maybe because of what she saw but she felt like it was a dream. One moment she was about to be taken advantage off and next one he appeared saving her.

Until she blacked out from alcohol.

(so stupid of me to drink like that....but he saved me)

She woke up when he was laying her down and she knowing that he saved her made her feel her heart warm.

She felt secure and for some reason she thought that he wasn't going to do anything to her. Feeling herself being placed down on the bed. She was faking her sleep and it didn't take long for him to just get up and go.

Loyd noticed this but he didn't dwell on it and was going to leave her. Honestly maybe he did wanted to get closer to her. Having her reach out made him smile.

"No problem but I should get going"

"Wait"

She meekly said as she sat up seeing her full face and especially those stary eyes of hers. It was enchanting beautiful that one could loose themselves in. Her beauty was there and Ai being stared deeply into her eyes blushed shyly as she tried to make a conversation.

"Ahem you shouldn't stare to deeply at a lady~"

She gave a playful smile making Loyd snap out of his gaze. As he coughed seeing how he was caught staring for to long.

"Sorry"

"It's fine...Besides for some reason it makes me feel happy.."

She said those silently making Loyd not catch onto it. 

(Was I happy to have him here beside me longer?....This feeling how strange)

She touched her chest where her heart unknown to the feelings sprouting within.

"Well now that you're safe and I had you in a motel so you can sleep and go home for tomorrow I should get going"

"Can I have your number?"

Loyd raised an eyebrow how this was going quite fast he must say but it was making him smile.

"Sure"

"I just wanted to thank you If I have the time from work!"

Trying to come up with a good way to stay in touch with him. As Ai felt like she wanted to get closer to her savior.

"Hmm what do you work as?"

Ai furrowed her brows into deep thinking as Loyd already knew what she did. 

(He doesn't know who i'm?)

She was surprised that Loyd didn't know of her then again she was curious to who he was since they didn't introduce themselves.

"Do you know who i'm?"

"Nope should I?"

he did come from america so he might as well just use that to be naive of her identity.

"I see..."

Ai did take a good look at his face and he was handsome for sure but something about him just being close to him. A sense of security she felt something she hasn't felt in a long time or more so strongly. He looked foreign too as he didn't look asian.

"Where do you come from and whats your name?"

"Loyd and I'm from america"

"America! How wonderful!"

Ai smiled at his introduction seeing how he came from their. 

"Now you"

"I'm ai hoshino and i'm currently an idol"

"oh!"

Ai patted her chest seeing his surprised reaction as she had a smug smile.

"You're in front of a famous one here in japan or more about to be"

"That's great I'm honored"

Loyd played with how she acted and Ai picked up on it and giggled. 

"Then lets meet up for my repayment as I have to go"

"Um!"

Ai saw his back as he left giving each other their goodbyes.
