Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family

Chapter 101: Celebrating then working

Soon, a nationwide celebration ensued in the Nation of Reborn. There were feasts and drinks to be had all around, with everyone commemorating the day that they became part of something that would change their entire lives.

They became immensely proud to call themselves Rebornian (a term that wasn't started by Michael by the way), especially since they all had a united front in making it prosper even more than it was now.

After all, where else would they find another place where everything was free? Food, water, and housing was abundant. And they were even given a chance to evolve their species to become something superior without their leader asking anything in return.

Compared to the desolate and isolated places they were in back in the desert, this was like a literal paradise come true for them all.

They all celebrated for three days, where everyone was forbidden to work.

During the day, they all went out of their houses and visited the baseball field, where a few teams performed a few show matches, and Michael even made a surprise guest appearance that made all of them scream and cheer upon his arrival.

After the games, a large feast was laid out on the plaza, where everyone dined at the same time. It became a large picnic, where family and friends could spend this precious time bonding about their love for this community.

In the afternoon, everyone was free to roam around the entire nation, introducing themselves to the new inhabitants who joined them recently.

Of course, it became a little competitive, as many of them began bragging and showing off to each other about their new skill or their new evolution.

And perhaps the most special event happened during the night.

They all sat on the plaza, looking up at the darkness of the skies, when all of a sudden, an explosion of colors spread out on the horizon, creating flowery patterns that amazed and bewildered anyone who gazed at them.

"Wow!"

"That is amazing…."

"Mom, Dad! I like to live in this place forever!"

Some dwarves, who were just here to visit, ended up deciding to move here just from this celebration alone.

The fireworks continued, with everyone gasping and cheering for it to last a little longer.

Thankfully, Michael prepared for this. He enlisted the help of Kong and a few other talented citizens to create more elaborate fireworks shows for everyone to enjoy.

He then began to hand out sparklers to all small children, allowing them to witness the beauty of fireworks right in front of their hands.

It was a magical night, where everyone had fun and enjoyed the entertainment.

It was so fun, in fact, that they all collectively decided to celebrate this day every year called Reborn Day.

After the three-day celebration, everyone went to work a lot more refreshed than before, motivating them to work harder using their new evolution and their new skills.

For their first order of business, Michael instructed Kong to create districts in their Nation, each housing the different species that needed their own environment.

For example, the Satyrs needed the shading of lots of trees, so they lived closer to the forest, basically on the opposite side of where the baseball field was located.

When he asked them why they needed the shade, it turned out that they were susceptible to the heat and temperature.

Hearing this, Michael had one solution for them: the air conditioner.

ChatJK3, can you give me the blueprints to make an AC?

As expected of his personal AI assistant, all the information he needed to create an HVAC system flowed through his brain and embedded itself into his neurons.

He borrowed the smithy of one of the dwarves and started to get to work.

After half a day, he was finally done.

He floated to the top of the oldest Satyr's tree house they had just finished constructing. Then, he created a rectangular opening near the window and installed the AC there before plugging the machine into the electrical socket.

After that, he invited all the Satyrs to the house for them to experience first-hand the miracle that was air conditioning.

"Press the button," he said to the eldest Satyr.

And as soon as he did, the AC rumbled a bit before suddenly releasing a cold breeze.

"Woooah!"

"That's cooler than a gust of wind!"

"It feels like it's snowing…"

The Satyrs immediately loved the air conditioner, making them all want to stay in this tree house forever.

Of course, Michael promised to install an AC in each of their tree houses, so they wouldn't have to crowd themselves in just one room.

Thankfully, there was one Satyr who evolved to become a [Smithing Satyr], and Michael gave the blueprints for the AC to him. Find adventures on empire

And soon after that, the rest of the nation heard about this AC and started clamoring to have them in their homes as well.

This became an immediate project for the dwarves in charge of craftsmanship. They too, wanted their homes to be as cool as ice after they were done spending the days in the hot forge.

Since electricity was so prevalent in their nation now, Michael decided to invent more electrical appliances for them.

He created a refrigerator the next day, which became popular among the Lamias and the Butcher Mankeys since they got to store their meats and fish inside without them spoiling for a long time.

Next, he created an electric fan, a washing machine, a heater, an iron for clothes, and an electric stove.

He gave all sorts of blueprints for his newly evolved mechanics to make for the entire nation.

Although he could have made it by himself, he decided to delegate this project to others because he had his own project to deal with.

Specifically, Michael wanted to start experimenting with Mithril, the strange material that could store mana in its body.

According to the Dwarven King, Damascus Steel was the material best suited to become mithril. So, he took a big chunk of it from their warehouse and started following ChatJK3's instructions.

The eight different elemental mana particles inside his body began to swirl in his hands, slowly making their way toward the Damascus Steel.
