Chapter 582: He’s lucky too?!
Zion landed back down and saw the poor chef laying quietly on the sand, as if he was just sleeping.
He quickly did a little sign of apology before taking off the keys tied to the man's apron.
"See sis? Why did you have to go and ruin my fun?" Zion said, dangling the keys in front of him towards Sheina.
As soon as he had it in his hands, a bright pillar shot out from underneath his feet and reached all the way into the skies.
With the keys in his possession, a copy of the key would immediately be put in Michael's possession.
"You could have had it so much earlier if you had just searched for it like I told you," Sheina insisted.
Zion had to exhale out loudly. There was nothing pleasing his sister. No matter what he tried to do, she would always find something to complain about.
"Lord Michael could have been waiting for that, you know. You shouldn't seek out your own thrill at this auction. It's selfish," grumbled Sheina.
At this point, Zion had enough.
"What about you?! You're the one who's making him wait. Instead of spending all this time lecturing me about what I should do, you should have been searching for the key as well!"
Despite his good argument. Sheina didn't see anything wrong with what she did.
"I had to make sure you were doing your job correctly. And it's good that I did. If I hadn't been here, you would play around too much, completely forgetting about the key."
Zion was completely shocked at his sister's unabashed hypocrisy! She was just doing that same thing he was!
"What about the key?!" he asked her.
Sheina then reached down into her shadow, taking out a white and gold compound bow out of her inventory.
The weapon glowed with a yellow glint, showing off its power as a genuine Mithril Artifact.
She took out a simple arrow from her quiver and loaded it onto the notch of her bow.
She then stretched the bow's strings up to her shoulders, powering up her shot for a second, and finally released the arrow into the air.
The harsh cold winds of the snow-tipped mountains bombarded the arrow with furious winds that would have knocked any normal arrow off its course.
But strangely, her arrow stayed its course even as snow and hail tried to veer it off its original trajectory.
Reaching the peak of its height, the arrow curved downwards and before landing into the snowy glacier below.
Sheina seemed to have been aiming for nothing, seeing as the arrow hit nothing but thick fluffy snow.
But a few seconds later, a groan echoed out of the mountain as a hand burst out of the thick snow.
A man slowly got up from his prone position, revealing that the arrow pierced directly into his back!
After finding the key through six feet deep snow, the man decided to just camouflage himself and hide throughout the rest of the game. He thought that would be the safest way to ensure victory.
He let go of all of his armor and weapons to make sure that he wouldn't stand out in the cold. He'd be defenseless, but no one would find him.
Or so he thought.
He struggled to keep himself up using his arms, but his strength eventually gave up.
He plopped back down into the snow, knocked unconscious.
Back on the very opposite end of the region, Sheina squinted her eyes and nodded to herself.
She put her Mithril Artifact bow back to her shadow and swiped her hands, satisfied with a job well done.
Then, a bright golden light shone down on her coming from the skies above.
A golden key suddenly floated down towards her before resting on her palms.
Now that the last player in the Snowy Mountains region was eliminated, the key would automatically be given to the last surviving player.
Sheina looked back at Zion and flashed the golden key at him with a triumphant smile on her face.
"You were saying?"

… The full series lives on My Virtual Library Empire (M|V|L0EMPYR).
…
Meanwhile, the entirety of the auction was still occupied with the news of the big discovery in the Red Ravine.
And since the game was basically over, not a lot of people were even paying attention to the Pocket Dimension.
However, some of them were watching.
And what they saw completely blew their mind.
"Did you guys just see that?!"
"Huh? What happened? Did Michael finally eliminate Beau?"
"NO! Look at the other side of the Pocket Dimension! Look at the desert and tundra regions!"
After such frantic shoutings, a lot of people put their focus back on the Pocket Dimension.
There, they saw the red-scaled and white-scaled Dragonborns holding a golden key in their hands while arguing against each other.
"When did they get a key?"
"I don't see anybody around their region… wait. Is everyone eliminated but them?!"
"They did! They just beat them. IN LESS THAN A MINUTE!"
One of the men who watched the entire thing unfold began to tell everyone about what he saw.
Of course, seeing it and hearing about it were two completely different experiences. Many couldn't believe that the elite chef fighters from the Pyramidic Cuisine would be beaten in a straight fight.
"What about the Fillet Master? How did he get eliminated?"
"He got punched with a really strong Mithril Relic!"
"WHAT?!"
Nobody even thought that the Reborn company had any other Mithril Relics other than Michael's flying weapon.
But now, there were reports being told that two of his crew members had Mithril Relics of their own! And judging from the feats they just pulled, it seemed that those weapons were extremely powerful.
Because of this, Alaric and the other Major Factions who were busy planning for the Red Ravine discovery couldn't help but put their focus back onto the Pocket Dimension.
"Are you sure you saw it? Maybe you were just seeing things."
"I saw it, Alaric! Those weren't just Mithril Relics. They were Mithril ARTIFACTS. The real deal!"
Everyone was already amazed that Michael was able to find a Mithril Artifact of that caliber. But as it turned out, he wasn't the only one who had one among his crew members!
The Major Factions were incredibly shocked to see that the Reborn company had three Mithril Artifacts!
Many people were now wondering where they could discover such great treasures!
Michael was talented, he was strong, he was rich, and now, he was also incredibly lucky! Many people were starting to think that it was unfair.
The thought that Michael could have forged all of this by himself did not cross their minds even once.
That would be too absurd. If the global conglomerates couldn't even recreate Mithril Artifacts using their immense resources, then practically nobody could.
Even the Duchess was under the impression that Michael just happened upon them buried in an ancient site.
"It makes sense. Not a lot of people visit the Kings region. And I hear that he inherited some kind of territory there…the Parched Lands, I think. He must have had tremendously good luck and found numerous discoveries there."
