Reborn in Type-Moon, My Sister is Aoko Aozaki

Chapter 32: Chapter 32: I Will Broadcast This Image Across All of Britain

"Speak. What is your goal? Is it still for the throne…?" the young girl questioned, looking at the figure of Morgan, who was bound by makeshift ropes made from bedsheets, which only served to accentuate the tight curves of her slender figure.

However, after glancing at the girl's chest, the other woman let out a scornful laugh. As if showing off, she deliberately puffed out her own chest, causing Artoria's expression to darken slightly. It should be known that ever since she had pulled the Sword from the Stone, her body had stopped growing in any physiological sense. And according to Merlin, this was an effect that came with the sword itself.

Normally, the young girl wouldn't have cared about this at all. But now, faced with Morgan's silent mockery, Artoria couldn't help but feel like a loser, and she was displeased.

As for her question, Morgan ignored it completely, instead turning her gaze to the boy at their side, and said with a light laugh, "Honestly, are you sure you don't want to consider coming back with me to Orkney, hm? You should know, anything Arthur can give you, I can give you too. And the things she can't give you, I can still provide."

Although she had indeed been "humiliated" by the boy just now, Morgan had already calmed down and was once again trying to bewitch Aozaki Rin.

"My apologies, Lady Morgan. I only wish to stay by my sister's side and help her. Please allow me to decline your invitation," Aozaki Rin said seriously, shaking his head. He never sheathed Durandal, holding it at the ready. After all, the woman before him was a magus; there was no telling what strange tricks she might pull, so he remained vigilant.

What puzzled him, however, was that neither of the two women in the room had answered the question he had asked earlier. It was as if they were deliberately avoiding it, not mentioning the matter again. But in his eyes, the fact that the original, volatile conflict between the two had eased was a good thing.

"How cold of you. And just now, you were calling me 'sister' in bed," Morgan sighed with feigned sadness. Hearing this, a vein throbbed on Artoria's temple. She subconsciously tightened her grip on Caliburn, as if suppressing some emotion, forcing herself not to raise the sword in her hand.

"That was only to draw out your true objective," Aozaki Rin replied, completely unaffected by the misleading nature of her words. Considering that she was now a "captive," he continued to try and persuade her. "Lady Morgan, I know you resent my sister because of the matter of the throne. But she did not take that position for herself."

"If you have the confidence to be a better king than my sister, I don't think she would mind returning the throne to you."

Hearing this, Artoria was stunned for a moment, but then she nodded and looked at Morgan with a serious expression. "Rin is right. If, Royal Sister, you simply desire this position for yourself, then I will never yield it. But if you can bring a better life to the people of Britain, I would not mind even becoming your knight."

Her words were filled with sincerity; Artoria was not joking. In fact, she had always held a strong sense of responsibility about becoming the new king. This was also because Merlin had told her since she was very young that only she could save Britain. And if someone else could do a better job, she naturally had no reason to insist on holding the position.

Morgan was silent for a moment, her head slightly bowed. After a long while, she lifted her face again, her stunningly beautiful features now bearing an icy chill.

"Something that was originally mine... has now become your handout?"

"No, that's not what I meant..." Artoria frowned and was about to explain, but Morgan cut her off directly.

"Enough! I admit that I was jealous of you because of the throne before, Arthur! But now I find that your luck is what's truly infuriating! You are the one who is highly anticipated, you are the one destined to shoulder the responsibility..."

"In comparison, perhaps I am the 'tool' that was created by our father. Just to maintain the rule of Britain, he sent his own daughter to that remote, godforsaken place of Orkney." Morgan laughed at herself, then looked at Artoria with a hint of malice.

"So from now on, it's no longer just about the throne. It's a personal grudge. You just watch. I will take everything that is yours away from you, one by one!" Her gaze flickered over to the boy, a cold smile on her lips.

Artoria fell silent. She knew that no matter what she said, her royal sister would not change her mind any time soon. The flames of jealousy had already consumed her. If one were to trace it back to its source, perhaps one could blame their biological father, whom she had never met. But in practical terms, it seemed she herself also bore a part of the responsibility. After all, they both should have had the same status, yet they had experienced completely different fates. Should one blame oneself, or should one blame destiny...

Just as Artoria was thinking, the boy's worried voice sounded again.

"Lady Morgan, can we really not get along?" Aozaki Rin's brow was furrowed, his small face filled with sorrow. For sisters to become enemies... was a scene he truly did not want to "see." If he could, he hoped to stop all of this from happening.

"Of course not!" Morgan answered decisively. But looking at the boy's troubled and pained expression, she changed her tune at the end. "...Unless you're willing to come back with me to Orkney. In that case, I suppose I could try to get along with this one."

However, Artoria, who had still been feeling troubled, couldn't help but feel her face darken upon hearing this. She took a deep breath, as if having made a decision, and looked at Morgan with great solemnity.

"If that's the case, then I have no other choice. To protect the secret, I can only sacrifice you, Royal Sister. Please forgive me."

"What? Are you planning to cut me down with one slash?" Morgan provoked her fearlessly, because she understood that as long as Artoria had such an intention, the boy beside her would definitely stop her. After observing for so long, she had basically figured out Aozaki Rin's nature—pure and naive.

"No, I will not do that," Artoria said seriously, her expression grave. "I will only have Merlin return, record your appearance as a captive, and then let everyone in Britain see it."

"Wh-what?! How could you use such a vicious method?! Are you really a knight?!" Morgan's expression changed. She couldn't even imagine what the common people of Britain would think of her if they saw her in this state. The only thing she could be certain of was that the words "Orkney" and "Morgan" would probably become the laughingstock of Britain.

"I have no choice. Since Royal Sister is so insistent on opposing me, I can only resort to this last measure. Besides, Merlin once said that a ruler must sometimes be as cunning as a fox. I am only doing what a king ought to do," Artoria replied matter-of-factly. In truth, she really did plan on doing this later.

But before she could continue, Morgan let out a cold laugh. "Do you think I'll let you do as you please? All of that just now was just to stall for time. Do you think I'm still here now?"

The corner of her lips curled up slightly. Morgan looked at Artoria with a mocking gaze, and her figure gradually became transparent, as if it were merging with the air.

At the same time, Aozaki Rin also felt Morgan's presence rapidly disappearing. Before he could figure out what was happening, Morgan had already vanished from before their eyes.

"An illusion? No, was it a substitute...?"

Looking at the strand of platinum-blonde hair left on the bed, Artoria frowned, having some understanding.

"Sister, should we give chase?" Aozaki Rin was a little worried that Morgan would use his sworn sister's secret to do something strange, and he proposed giving chase.

"No, let's forget it. Although she was like that just now, compared to others, she would definitely prefer to target me herself. So for now, we don't need to worry too much."

"Besides, compared to that..." Artoria glanced at the somewhat messy bedsheets and recalled some of Morgan's nonsense. She looked at the slightly confused boy who was waiting for her next words, coughed a few times, and then said with a straight face, "To prevent any other assassins from attacking tonight, I think it would be safer if we slept together."
