reborn with a doom slayer gacha system in final fantasy 7

Hey guys so I just got back from brainstorming possible chapter ideas and explanations towards certain things.

Now thank you Kraxis9 for the idea mercy "kills", so when John shoots a human is a good person, he doesn't die so it's a mercy kill, where he kills their will to fight, now for those who actually like what they do they die.

Also it's been a long ass time since I last saw gameplay for doom so please comment images of demons that will or should appear and then I can start the portal chapters.

Now onto the chapter.

(Luggage cart, train for sector 7)

Everyone of Avalanche was resting from their mission, with the door to the luggage cart slightly open as Jessie kept an eye on the outside for John.

'I don't get it, he's an outsider yet I can't stop wondering if he's okay.' She thinks to herself as she remembers John telling everyone he would hold them off.

Her attention switched as Barret walks over, " I wouldn't worry about him, call it a leaders intuition but I get the feeling he'll be fine." He says as he sits back down next to wedge and Biggs, and it seems only I was worried.

But before I could close the door I see something in the distance, and it was coming in fast, "Uh guys…I think we got someone coming in hot!" I say alerting Cloud and Barret who ready their weapons as the figure came closer.

When the figure got next to the door it opened it up wide and jumped in sticking a landing, everyone saw this but only Barret and Cloud recognized him, "well I be damned, you really did catch up with us." Barret remarks as the armored John taps the jewel on his armor and it disappears showing an unwounded John.

(Hey just a question but does my Barret sound more like Dutch from black lagoon? He's giving me Dutch vibes)

"I did say I'd catch up with you didn't I?" I say to everyone as I take a seat on a nearby box as I take out the materia I got from deafeating the robot guardian, it was red like normal summon materia but it had the two headed eagle that was the symbol forthe imperium of man inside.

(Yeah John's warhammer materia has the two headed eagle insignia inside.)

I put it back in my heavy cannon as I see Barret walk over, " we're about to depart the train, so feel free to come with us, we got a good bartender at our base." Barret says as I piece together what he was trying to say.

'Could he be trying to invite me to their cause?' I think as I just smile, "yeah I could go for a drink right now." I respond as he nods and turns around, "alright everyone! Take different routes to our base of operations, we don't want to be followed!" Barret tells everyone as I run alongside Barret and Cloud the moment the train stopped and everyone hopped off.

"So John, what's your story? You have the mentality of a soldier, yet you fight against the people who make soldiers." Barret asks as I think of an origina story for myself, I mean I couldn't just say I popped out of thin air.

So after a few moments I come up with something that would make sense, " eight years ago I was a soldier in the mining town of Corel, it was supposed to be a business trip where we made a mako reactor to help the people of Corel, I was a 19 year old soldier in training at the time, and it was my first mission." I began as I see Barret clenching his fist while a vein throbbed on his forehead, while Cloud listened, " but one day the deal was declined and Miss scarlet lost it, she ordered all of us to lay siege to Corel, I watched as every other soldier shot down women, children, nobody was spared, when I saw that I could bring myself to continue being a soldier, so I faked my death and vowed I'd bring Shinra down." I finish as I look over at Barret who had a…complicated expression.

(Yeah so I don't remember much about the Corel incident, so I made my own version where John makes his backstory.)

Cloud was also looking at me, but he has a sympathetic expression, "I don't regret faking my death, but I want to make things right and I won't stop until I put a bullet in the skull of shinra's CEO."

Barret looks at me before sighing, "I'm definitely going to need a drink after hearing all this." He mutters as I don't speak any further, considering Barret was from Corel I would t hold it past him not to punch me half to death due to my origin story.

"We're here." Barret says as I see buildings made of scrap metal and wood cobbled together, I see children covered in grime playing with a dog, and adults fighting.

But the sound of bullets caught my attention as I look over that a bar called the seventh heaven, as people were running away as Barret comes out and fires his gun arm in the air.

After he tells everyone to head down to their base I walk in and take a seat in front of one of the baddest women in videogame history.

"What can I get you to drink?"

So what do you guys think of John's made up origin story? I may just make it be that the god that sent him there hears the origin and makes it a reality.

But besides that what warhammer characters or weapons should be materia? I already decided to add Malum caedo later on.
