Rebuilding Uchiha By Removing Fugaku

Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Hi guys

This story focuses on politicians rather than fighting or actions.

"I disagree!"

At this moment, in the Uchiha clan's ancestral hall, a member of the garrison shouted angrily at Fugaku.

"Why should our Uchiha clan be forced to move next to the prison, and to the farthest corner of Konoha? With such a distance from the village, how can our Konoha Military Police patrol effectively?"

At the top, Fugaku frowned. He attempted to calm the excited guards below.

"You are right, but the other clans have also relocated. The Uchiha cannot be the only ones to refuse."

It hadn't been long since the Nine-Tails' attack. The rebellion had caused heavy losses for all of Konoha's ninja, except for the Uchiha. Because the Uchiha clan had been ordered by Danzo and Sarutobi to focus on evacuating the civilians, they hadn't fought on the front lines.

This decision, however, had placed the already distrusted and resented Uchiha under even more scrutiny. At least half of the malice directed towards the Nine-Tails had been transferred onto the Uchiha.

Rumors circulated through the village that the Uchiha had controlled the Nine-Tails, causing the disaster. Now, during the redistribution of land, the Uchiha, who had suffered no losses, were being forced to relocate. Fugaku, guided by Uchiha Itachi, had agreed to Konoha's leadership's demands.

As a result, the village had not only stripped the Uchiha of any power in Konoha's central governance but had also surrounded them with other ninja clans, isolating them.

This blatant humiliation ignited the fury of the Uchiha.

At that moment, Uchiha Setsuna suddenly stood up and shouted, "When did the Uchiha ever bow down like this? Our clan co-founded Konoha, and now we're treated like this? It's disgraceful! Under your leadership, we can't even hold on to our land! I propose we remove Uchiha Fugaku from his position as patriarch!"

As soon as Setsuna finished speaking, everyone turned their gazes to a handsome young man in the corner. He coldly glared at Uchiha Fugaku, a sneer forming on his lips.

"I have no objections."

This was Uchiha Toki, a genius in the Uchiha clan, on par with Fugaku. However, Toki's brilliance lay not in combat but in his exceptional political acumen. Time and again, he had predicted upcoming events in both Konoha and the ninja world, helping the Uchiha clan avoid numerous casualties. This earned him high respect among his clan.

Toki's success, however, stemmed from the fact that he was a reincarnated individual. Without the typical talents of a protagonist, he had been striving to change the fate of the Uchiha to avoid the coming night of their annihilation.

He knew all too well that Konoha had been suppressing the Uchiha since the era of the Second Hokage. This repression reached its peak during the Third Great Ninja War, where many Uchiha elite were sent to the most dangerous frontlines, dying in battle. Meanwhile, the younger and inexperienced Uchiha members were kept confined to the Konoha Military Police, a role considered a dead end with no potential for growth.

By the end of the Third Great Ninja War, the once-mighty Uchiha clan had been reduced to the point where they could barely muster a handful of capable warriors.

Toki had advised Uchiha Fugaku on numerous occasions to be wary of Konoha's intentions, to gather their people, strengthen the clan, and focus on their own survival while keeping a low profile. But Fugaku, blinded by his belief that Konoha was a unified family where everyone worked for the common good, had always obediently followed the orders of Hiruzen Sarutobi.

He even named his son after the Sarutobi clan leader.

Toki had initially thought that Fugaku was simply indecisive, and that realizing Konoha's true motives early on could alter the fate of the Uchiha. But he hadn't expected Fugaku to be fully brainwashed by the Will of Fire, even more so than his son, Uchiha Itachi, who would later betray the clan. Fugaku refused to take any action that could harm the village.

Frustrated, Toki began secretly accumulating power and winning over the clan members. The Nine-Tails incident had been the breaking point. When Toki failed to convince Fugaku to let the Uchiha fight on the frontlines, and the clan was subsequently blamed and forced into exile, the internal resentment against Fugaku exploded.

Toki took advantage of the situation, orchestrating a plan to have Fugaku impeached as patriarch.

Now, Fugaku stared at Toki in disbelief. He had never imagined that the loyal advisor standing before him harbored such ambition.

Toki stepped forward to meet Fugaku's gaze, his face indifferent as he spoke.

"I think Fugaku is no longer fit to be patriarch. A true leader puts his clan first. The current Fugaku seems to care more about Konoha than the Uchiha."

Fugaku frowned. "Our Uchiha clan is part of Konoha. If Konoha is at peace, then so are we. Moreover, we hold an important position in the Military Police and are spared from fighting on the frontlines. Right now, the Uchiha are the most powerful clan in Konoha. Isn't that enough?"

Toki looked at Fugaku as if he were an idiot and laughed coldly.

"With thinking like that, you're still the patriarch? Are you a fool?"
