I sighed as I looked at the kunoichi as she left. It was unusual to let go of a prey, especially a pretty one, but it was even more difficult to stay on good terms with her afterwards. I jumped down from the roof of the building and followed the entrance, looking for someone familiar, until I spotted Hatake's familiar pale blond ponytail in front of me. That was it. Speeding up, I pulled up alongside him.

- Sakumo-san, I see I'm not the only one chosen.

- As you can see," the clan leader said with a nod of greeting.

- Do you have any idea why we were chosen? - I asked him. - I may not know many of my colleagues, but I don't see any weaklings here.
