The adventurers fought fiercely, but the monster was relentless—coiling its long, armored body around a tree and lunging at them with unnatural speed.

"Hold the damn line!" shouted a man in heavy armor.

A massive tower shield slammed into the ground, blocking the centipede's strike. The shield's owner—a broad-shouldered warrior with short, dark hair—gritted his teeth as he absorbed the impact.

"Jack, stop tanking like an idiot! That poison will melt your armor!" yelled a female mage, hurling a fireball at the creature.

The fire exploded against the centipede's shell, but it barely flinched.

Another adventurer—a rogue dual-wielding daggers—cursed under his breath as he slashed at the centipede's legs. "Why the hell is this thing even up here?! They're supposed to stay underground unless disturbed!"

Jack gritted his teeth, pushing back against the monster. "Yeah?! Then someone explain why the hell a FLOOR BOSS just crawled out of the dirt!"

The rogue dodged a poison strike. "Beats me! Maybe some dumbass pissed it off!"
