"Origami, what... are you doing?"

Shido watched the expressionless Origami that was peeking behind the utility pole. Ignoring the fact that her body can be seen from far away. He could only reveal a wry smile, unsure of how to react to her antics.

Origami stepped away from the utility pole, revealing herself completely standing in front of Shido. Then she talked in a monotone voice and cutely knocked her head, but her expressionless face made it more comical. 

Shido was speechless at how she could do something this dumb with such a straight face. He rubbed his temples as he tried to process her attempt at acting coy.

Yet, he had to admit that she looked cute even if she was weird.

Nevertheless, Origami must be waiting for him if she was doing something like hiding behind a utility pole. 

Watching her closely, Shido saw that she was wearing her Raizen High uniform just like Tohka. Yet, unlike Tohka who had a curvy body, Origami's body was slender and toned. It is most likely the result of her rigorous training in AST.

Her petite and flexible frame contrasted with Tohka's plump body, however, Shido didn't dislike it a bit.

In fact, despite not being as naturally huggable as Tohka, there was something about Origami that made Shido indulge in embracing her in his arms. 

It was so addicting that, if not for more pressing matters, Shido might have stayed in bed, content to keep holding her a little longer.

She pointed her index finger at Origami, her expression became pensive as she demanded an explanation. Yet, no matter how serious Tohka tried to act, she always ended up looking comical whenever she argued with Origami.

As if she just realized that Tohka was with them, Origami turned her head in her direction and stared at her with a deadpan expression.

Her tone was uncaring as if she didn't give a single thought to Tohka, causing her to stomp her feet in frustration.

"K-Kuh! Y-You are really annoying!"

"Oh my, sorry I didn't notice you at all."

Tohka fumed with anger, unable to think of a proper comeback to Origami's sharp words. Unlike Origami, who was intelligent and ranked among the top students in school, Tohka was more like an impulsive child, one who rarely thought things through and instead charged ahead recklessly.

Adding to Origami's appeal was her striking beauty, and her emotionless expression only heightened her allure, making her the dream of many male students.

Because of this, every time the two argue, Tohka always loses, crying back into Shido's arms to comfort her fragile heart.

Origami, however, pressed forward, not giving a chance for Tohka to think. Still, she didn't actually have to do that since Tohka was simple-minded and could only come up with a single attack and had no idea how to defend or counterattack.

"Waaa! Shido, Origami is bullying me!"

Just like always, she rushed into Shido's arms, burying her face in his chest, as her sobs poured out, releasing her frustrations.

However, this time, she acted more intimate and even rubbed her bountiful chest on his body. After she had sex with Shido, Tohka always sought his warm embrace as if she was addicted to his warmth.

Watching her sobbing in his arms, Shido could only smile helplessly, thinking that he had spoiled her too much.

"Why do you even argue with her when you know you'll just end up crying?"

Shido said in a helpless tone as he patted her head. He really couldn't understand why the two of them were like oil and water, completely incompatible, always arguing over the slightest thing.

What Shido didn't realize was that Tohka was just trying to imitate the dramatic scenes from the movies she watched, not understanding how it came looked to others.

"Anyway, try not to treat her with so much hostility. Origami is actually a kind person once you get to know her."

"Why does it seem like you'd rather believe that there will be no more Kinako Bread in this world than admit that Origami is kind?"

Shido was at a loss for words when he looked at Tohka's face as she questioned with an exaggerated tone.

Tohka still thought that it was unbelievable that Origami was kind after she hunted her down with her Team of Mecha. Yet, when Shido's voice that carried the words Kinako Bread entered her ears, she suddenly reacted strongly.

"What?! Kinako bread will be extinct?!"

Shido was speechless at Tohka's reaction as he didn't think that she would actually believe it. He revealed a wry smile at how simple her thinking actually was, feeling sorry for Origami that she was lower than Kinako bread in Tohka's mind.

"Calm down, Tohka. It was just a figure of speech!"

Shido wrapped his arms around her, trying to keep her from getting too upset. He was afraid that if he didn't explain himself, Tohka's emotions might escalate and accidentally trigger a Spatial Quake.

"Figure of Speech?"

Tohka looked at Shido curiously, she was distracted by his words.

"Well, a figure of speech means when you say something that isn't literally true, just to express a point or make things more interesting," Shido explained, trying to simplify it. "Like when people say something is 'a piece of cake,' it doesn't mean it's actually cake."

Tohka tilted her head, she furrowed her brows at Shido not understanding one bit of his words.

"Ah! I can't understand it at all!"

"..."

Shido could only reveal a wry smile as Tohka was really being Tohka. Not putting any thought on the words that she cannot comprehend.

Since she can't understand it in the normal way, Shido would explain it to her in a way she can immediately understand.

"Basically, actually nah- forget it... I think I will also have a headache if I continue to explain this to you."

"Eh???"

Tohka swung her arms back and forth, eager to hear what Shido had to say. However, Shido knew that no matter how many times he explained it to her, she would just blink her eyes in confusion.

"Never mind, Tohka. Just know that you can still eat Kinako bread."

"Really?!"

"Really."

"Yey!"

Tohka cheered happily when she heard Shido's confirmation, pressing her body more against his, showing her happiness.

Yet, they had completely forgot that Origami was still with them. She was looking at the two lovers flirting with each other, and a hint of jealousy flickered in her eyes. With a quiet huff, Origami puffed her cheeks like an annoyed hamster.
