Chapter 22: WEOS
"You said WEOS but what does it mean?" asked Leon.
"Don't you know the types of Entities?" the crimson-haired guy replied.
"Nope," Leon answered honestly.
All three squadmates facepalmed.
"You really are something," muttered the guy with glasses.
The blonde-haired one stepped forward. "Alright, let me explain all the types of Entities properly."
"There are four types of Entities."
"First, Corrupted Entities."
"They're the weakest. They don't think, they don't plan, they just absorb life force from humans and other living beings. Their bodies carry something called the Entity's Curse. If you touch them directly then you'll die slowly and painfully. That's why we fight them using weapons—indirect contact only." Explained the Golden haired guy.
"Ohh", Leon looks impressed, his hand was on chin.
"Second, Brained Entities."
"These ones are intelligent. They can think, speak and build civilizations. Most of them don't carry the curse but some rare ones do. They usually serve as soldiers for Entity Gods and yeah, they're a serious threat to other species. Still… a few just wanna live peacefully."
"Hmm...Thorfinn mindset" said Leon.
"Whose mindset?" Asked Golden haired guy.
"No one's...explain further" said Leon with a Nervous smile.
"Then the Third, Entity Gods."
"They're above the other two. If you tried to measure their power, it's beyond the total output of an entire universe. But... no one's seen one for centuries. They're more myth than reality now."
"Ohh, they are pretty strong...but, can they defeat Kimono Guy?!" Leon asked, his eyes widen in curiosity.
"If you mean by Kimono Guy is Commander Akash, then maybe no...he in his prime is beyond the powerlevel that is shown of Entity Gods in World Mythology". Answered the Red-haired guy.
"What's the World Mythology?!" Leon asked, now more curious then before.
Glasses Guy looks at Leon in disappointment, "It's like we are teaching a kid." But can't do anything because he has potential and Boss need him.
"World Mythology is the book in which world's origin is written, it has knowledge of whole multiverse. People says that the creator of this book is Grandmasters, and I know you will ask who are Grandmasters".
"Yes, definitely!" Leon replied quickly.
Glasses guy sigh and explained, "Grandmasters are the Gods who are operating Multiverse, in the order of Supreme God. World Mythology says that Supreme God created Reality and Multiverses, then created Grandmasters to operate each Multiverse. This explanation is more than enough." Said the Glasses guy.
"Then let me explain the last type of Entity" said the Golden haired guy.
"Go Go!" Cheered Leon.
"Now last, WEOS—Wandering Entities of Space."
"They're weird. You can't box them in. Some are so weak they could lose to a human. They can be weaker than the lowest Entity… or stronger than the gods. That's why they're the most unpredictable and dangerous."
He crossed his arms, giving Leon a look. "So yeah, next time someone says 'WEOS,' you better take it seriously."
"Ok Sir!" Said Leon, hmm..i haven't thought that Entities were this Complex...and World Mythology, i think I will buy one book of it when I will complete my mission.
Arthur Gravestone again stood tall on the stage, all the first-year students looked up at him with a mix of fear and anticipation.
"Now, we begin the Third Trial—
The War."
He paused for a moment, letting the weight of those words settle in.
"Your objective is simple: survive.
You must endure five nights on a battlefield crawling with Corrupted Entities. These creatures will not hesitate—they are mindless, relentless, and cursed."
He continued, "Each squad will be teleported to a different location within the battlefield. We've done this to avoid interference or overlapping between groups. The entire battlefield is located inside a vast forest. You'll have access to natural resources—hunt wild animals, gather fruits and find water from rivers."
His gaze sharpened but voice stayed firm.
"But be careful. Many creatures there are poisonous. Your survival depends not just on fighting but also on caution and teamwork."
"Now pay attention—there's no giving up.
You'll only be rescued if a serious emergency occurs—such as one of your squad members getting infected with the Entity's Curse or sustaining life-threatening injuries. If that happens then we'll pull you out immediately."
He held up a small tablet in his hand.
"You've all swallowed a monitoring device disguised as a tablet earlier.
It's tracking your vitals and will notify HQ if anything goes wrong. So don't even try faking an emergency—we'll know."
Arthur then looked over the students one last time.
"Good luck. You're all being watched closely—not just by the academy....but by Him."
He raised his hand—light circles formed beneath every squad.
"Teleportation begins—
Now."
