After recruiting Ranni to our side, I was sitting in one of the castle towers watching the giant golden tree burn, Everyone was preparing for our final march towards the capital, Hajime and Yuri were also going to accompany us on this final journey.

We both took up positions and stared at each other as if waiting for a signal and when mini Ranni jumped off my shoulder, we both lunged forward at the same time.

Before he could take advantage of that I released my left arm and threw it back, Grimm's shadow claw wrapped around my arm, and with that, I threw a powerful punch that sent Godfrey flying but he didn't let it bother him and he quickly recovered, with impressive leg strength he leaped high into the air to bring his axe down on me.

I wrapped the firecloth of my axe tightly around my arm and I threw my axe towards him, holding him in the air, then I jumped higher than him, I pulled my axe back towards me, I increased my weight massively and used a devastating swing that sent Godfrey crashing to the ground.

He raised a huge smoke screen, and while in the air, I charged a powerful magic attack, but from within the smoke screen, Godfrey used one of the oldest techniques in existence and threw a giant rock toward me.

At that moment, Grimm created a sphere of shadows around me, he was able to block the attack, but the power of the impact threw us out of the sky, I managed to land on my feet and immediately launched myself toward him, our weapons ended up locked again but that was what I wanted.

Yuuki: Dodge this.

I fired a powerful lightning breath at point-blank range, and at the same time, Grimm spat out a ball of red energy, Godfrey was pushed against the wall, and I kept up my dragon breath attack for a good few minutes.

I prepared a final attack with hundreds of energy swords aimed at the former Elden lord.

Godfrey: That will be all.

He was on his knees and on his last breaths, it seemed like he had one last play, and although normally I would stop him at this point, I decided to call off my attack out of respect for his former title as Elden Lord.
