Reincarnated into a World Filled with Dungeons, But My Blessing Turned Out to Be the Most Challenging Dungeon

Chapter 43

“Alright, the sun’s still high. Time to get ready.”

Wasting no time, I sprang into action to make use of the information I had gathered.

『Master, aren’t you a little too eager?』

“Time is limited, isn’t it? There are things I want to get done before school starts.”

With that, I made my way to a shop that specialized in weapons and armor.

“Excuse me. Could you show me the equipment for beginner adventurers?”

As soon as I entered the shop, I called out to the burly man polishing a sword in the back.

“In that case, the sets on display over there should be what you’re looking for.”

It seemed that many rookie adventurers like me came to buy equipment here. The store had daggers, leather armor, and other gear suitable for diving into Rank I dungeons without any issues.

“I’ll take this.”

“Alright. That’ll be ten silver coins.”

I handed over the money as instructed, then—

“Excuse me, would it be alright if I changed into these here?”

“Go ahead. If anything feels off, let me know. I’ll adjust it for you.”

Despite his intimidating face, he seemed like a surprisingly decent guy. I quickly changed into my new gear.

『Hmm, you suddenly look really weak.』

Since everything was brand new, I looked like nothing more than a complete rookie adventurer. Which, to be fair, I actually was.

“Thank you very much.”

I expressed my gratitude and turned to leave.

“Hey, get stronger and come back to buy some better gear next time, alright?”

The shopkeeper sent me off with a grin.

『Master, where are we heading next?』

Eve started getting curious as I walked briskly and without hesitation.

“For now, I need to restock the potions I gave to Roberto.”

At present, I had no skills or blessings that allowed me to heal.

So if I got injured, I’d have to rely on potions.

Before long, I arrived at the alchemy and magic shop—the same place where I had previously sold water.

“Hello!”

“Oh my, it’s you again. Are you here to sell more water?”

The old lady at the shop still remembered me.

“No, this time I’m here to buy some potions.”

I would like to restock on water too, but right now, I couldn’t enter dungeons alone.

Hearing my order, the old lady went to fetch some potions from the back.

“By the way, how did your exam go?”

“Well, I managed to pass somehow.”

“Oh my, that’s wonderful news. I’ll throw in a free potion as a celebration gift.”

Saying that, she went back and grabbed an extra potion.

“Are you sure?”

“It’s no problem. If you graduate from the academy and become a top-class adventurer, I expect you’ll give my shop some good business.”

It seemed that being a student of the Royal Integrated Academy came with perks.

That said, giving a free potion to a mere rookie like me was probably just the old lady’s kindness.

“By the way, have you managed to get your hands on any special dungeon cores since last time?”

Since I was already here, I figured I might as well ask. If they had any in stock, I wanted to buy one.

“Special dungeons don’t appear often, you know. Even through my usual supply routes, they only come in once in a blue moon.”

Unfortunately, she hadn’t acquired any.

“I see. If you do manage to get one, I’d love to buy it.”

I made sure to put in a request so that when one did become available, I could secure it.

“You’re a strange one. Planning to draw some kind of large-scale magic circle?”

The old lady looked at me suspiciously.

There was no way I could explain the real reason I needed them, so…

“Yeah, well, there’s someone researching magic circles, and they asked me to buy some for them.”

“I see. Well, if that’s the case, I’ll set one aside for you.”

After making that promise, I left the shop.

『Hmm, it’s really a shame there are no new cores, Master.』

Eve sounded disappointed.

Considering how important collecting cores was to her, it made sense.

After all, today alone, we had seen one decent core and one monstrously powerful core, and yet, we hadn’t obtained a single new one. It was no wonder she was getting restless.

『So, where to next?』

Eve questioned me again as I continued moving straight toward my next destination.

Without breaking my stride, I threw open the door to the building ahead—
“The Adventurer’s Guild.

I’m going to get my hands on a Rank IV core.”

I answered Eve with unwavering determination.
