Chapter 8: Possessiveness
Holding the wine glass, the cool liquid went down his throat, and Julian suddenly choked. "Cough, cough."
Losiya, who had been standing beside him chatting with others, immediately noticed Julian choking on the alcohol. She patted his back and asked with a smile, "Not used to drinking?"
"This isn't juice?" Julian put down the wine glass, unpleasant memories rushing to his head.
"It's fruit wine. Didn't you smell it?"
Shaking his head, Julian unconsciously recalled.
Before his job at the bubble tea shop in his previous life, he had other jobs.
Because he was too young, the jobs he found were basically the kind that were somewhat illicit and couldn't be shown openly, like being a specific male companion for drinks at a winery.
Although this profession was special, it was unusually popular and there weren't many high-quality resources, so when they encountered high-quality clients, they would receive extremely good treatment.
For him at the time, this job had good treatment and no age restrictions, so he naturally accepted it gladly.
Then he made a fool of himself on his first day of work. He still remembered it very clearly. The other party was a lady in her thirties, gentle in appearance, and well-maintained. She seemed to be attending such an occasion for the first time, and her words and actions were a bit slow.
He wasn't much better. The two of them just drank and talked, mainly with her speaking and him listening.
The other party had barely started her story, and he hadn't even had a few drinks with the client before he simply passed out in the client's arms.
When he woke up, he found himself in a hotel. When he realized he was lying on the hotel's distinctive large white bed, the lingering effects of the alcohol immediately dissipated completely.
Instinctively, he touched his body. His original clothes were gone, replaced by a hotel bathrobe.
Just as his heart was chilling, the lady suddenly walked out of the bathroom, holding a hot, water-soaked towel.
It was clear he had overthought things. The woman had obviously realized he was a minor and had brought him out because she was worried he would suffer injustice at the establishment after getting drunk.
This was a woman with a successful career but an unsuccessful love life. Instigated by a friend, she had wanted to come to such an occasion to relax. After realizing he was a minor, she even chatted with him in the hotel until late at night.
Julian looked at his reflection in the wine glass, remembering that if he wasn't mistaken, they hadn't done nothing that night. When the woman was about to leave with her preparations for protection, she kissed his forehead. He suddenly became bolder than ever before, and kissed her cheek.
A slight smile played on his lips. The feeling of being drunk was indeed an unpleasant memory, but that experience was one of the few warm memories he could recall from those dozen years.
"Are you thinking about other women?" Losiya's voice suddenly cut him off, a chill emanating from her side.
She had been paying attention to Julian the whole time. At first, she thought he was just hesitating because he wasn't used to the smell of alcohol, but then she realized something was off.
Julian himself probably didn't realize it, but the shy look in his eyes and the smile at the corner of his mouth when he remembered that incident appeared extremely ambiguous to those watching.
"No," Julian naturally wouldn't admit it. He didn't even know her name, and there would be no further contact. What he remembered now was more of a re-experience of the warmth from that time.
After he said no, Losiya's expression visibly darkened. A surge of strength came from her wrist, and Julian was irresistibly pulled by her towards the dance floor.
"Excuse us, please," Losiya said with a perfect smile to the friend she had been chatting with, then pulled Julian and left directly.
"…" Losiya was clearly using force, and Julian's wrist ached from being pulled.
But there was no trace of it on his face. Having long learned patience, he knew that the consequences of resisting someone he couldn't oppose would be even more severe.
The orchestra on the second floor was playing a graceful and lively dance tune with various instruments. Losiya pulled Julian with fierce steps, cutting into the dance floor like a powerful sword.
The other party very naturally led the dance, which allowed Julian, who had no idea how to dance, to at least barely keep up with her without stepping on her feet.
Losiya held Julian's waist, forcing him to press against her body. The occasional spins made Julian dizzy.
While dancing, Losiya also spoke to him.
"Do you know who competed with me that day for you?"
"I don't know."
Losiya immediately said sweetly, "Her name is Tania. Her identity is nothing special; she's just a countess's daughter, and the position of heir won't even fall to her."
"But she's very famous in noble circles. Do you know why?"
"No," Julian said, his tone lacking interest.
Losiya saw this, bit her lower lip, and whispered in his ear while dancing, "Because she's very playful. Guess what she's good at playing?"
Julian didn't understand. Besides a few reclusive eccentrics, which noble wasn't keen on playing? What was so strange about that?
"She's very good at playing with men, especially boys like you."
Upon hearing this, Julian chuckled slightly. He truly just found Losiya's remark a bit humorous, but in Losiya's eyes, his smile at that moment looked completely mocking.
"She loves to train men, put collars on them, and give them addictive drugs every day, gradually destroying their self-esteem, letting them be constantly eroded by the pain of desire."
"In the end, they won't even have the thought of being human, degenerating into lowly animals."
"Even as a slave, the body is controlled, but mentally, one is at least still in control. However, for a slave to Tania, nothing will belong to you, including your body after you 'die.'"
When Losiya finished speaking, she directly used "you" to refer to Julian.
"Since I was little, the thing I hated most was seeing precious treasures shattered in front of me. There are many such children in my territory, so that day I originally wanted to acquire other things, but in the end, I changed my plan and added you, for which I paid almost a year's harvest of my territory."
After a few seconds, Julian said softly.
"I understand…"
Just then, a song ended. Losiya slowly stopped dancing, holding Julian's hand, and then cupped his face with both hands, gently giving him a kiss on the cheek as a greeting.
"Consider me narrow-minded, but at least I hope you belong only to me when you are in front of me."
Losiya's low voice came from near his ear.
Perhaps Losiya sensed Julian's silent grievance, and finally, she couldn't help but compromise slightly.
In reality, Julian was more amused than anything else. After provoking the possessiveness of someone close to him, he was then threatened and enticed by them. To be honest, he didn't dislike this feeling.
Although his relationship with Losiya was merely that of a master and subordinate, or essentially a master-slave relationship, Julian still leaned into Losiya's ear and made sure to satisfy her possessiveness.
"Besides you, I belong to no one, and… no matter what, no matter where, any 'first time' you can think of, I can give it to you."
