Reincarnated into World of Nine Heavens and Ten Earths

Chapter 25: Chapter-23: Mysterious Treasures? A Burdensome Past! Sect Leader Ling Yun-zi's True Force!

After Long Chen's initial preparations ended with him preparing more than enough for the upcoming war between the Righteous Path disciple and Corrupt Path disciples, he started to plan for new techniques for himself.

Yes himself as he had been previously engrossed in multiple techniques to help elevate others' understanding to help them grow faster.

It wasn't all that was to it. He indeed took some ideas but not that al fitted his path. Before setting his own time for improvement, he asked Song Ming, Meng Qi, Lu Fang'er, Yue Zifeng and Shi Feng to look over the others while also conducting a Tournament amongst them to sharpen themselves more. The tournament was simple; Seal your Cultivation and Qi, Survive the 'Graveyeard of the Exiled' though dangerous it could also help them with getting stronger and making them able to fight against those of higher realms while also getting aid from Song Ming, Meng Qi, Lu Fang'er, Yue Zifeng and Shi Feng if any danger arises.

While others had no problem accepting the work, Yue Zifeng seemed a bit troubled in his own thoughts but even so he accepted it. Though Long Chen didn't know what was happening to him, he knew one thing that it was something related to the short duel that he and Zifeng had so that he could test his new ability, ''.

And ever since that day Zifeng seemed to have grown a bit dwelved in his own thoughts so Long Chen didn't say much but told him to keep quiet and stay focused.

After which he went to the Book Pavilion where he spend 10 hours a day from sunrise to sunset engrossed to learn new techniques and to improve his current viewpoint of his own Dao/Path.

As almist a week passed by Elder Cang Ming and Wilde had returned from their Two Week adventure. Elder Cang Ming having taken almost a dozen of Xuantian Pills of High-Quality had broken through to peak and with the other pills such as 'Body Tempering Pill', 'Soul Nourishing Pill' and 'Youth Beauty Pill' he was able to look stronger and younger and more handsome at about Mid-Thirties and not an old Man.

Wilde had also gone under transformation as the runes on his body, inscribed as lines were now completely silver and a faint golden colour could been seen if observed deeply which means his cultivation was almost at threshold of Peak of Meridian Forming Realm but his strength could be compared to one at Peak of Xuantian Realm.

As Long Chen greets Elder Cang Ming while being embraced by his childishly brother Wilde, Elder Cang states about a certain treasure at his abode. And so Long Chen, who had actually remembered all techniques in the last few days accepts going with him.

In Elder Cang Ming's abode, there was nothing much as he would always wander around or outside the Sect. Surprisingly, as simple and bold of a move that it was, a box sealed with Xuantian Essence belonging to Elder Cang was hidden below Elder's bed without any further protection.

As Long Chen's interest piques upon feeling the immense aura coming from the box, Sect Leader appears outside the Abode and calls forth Elder Cang Ming, "Granduncle Cang, stop with this action. How can this thing still exist. You shouldn't indulge him in this too." as he moves within the abode.

As Long Chen looks with confusion, Elder Cang sighs while Sect Leader Ling starts to explain about what was within the box;

"It all began 200 years ago...

I was a young man just like you, filled with passion and I was indeed praised as the greatest Genius our 108th-Xuantian Monastery had in history till that time. As you guys will be going to a Secret Realm a few months later, we too headed towards the very secret realm. I can't say much but... it was all a brilliant place with countless opportunities while also sustaining fatal dangers from foe and friends both."

As Sect Master paused for a bit, he took the box from Elder Cang's hand and suppressing the energy from the box, he took out a Jade Stone and a an Ancient Book. He then continued,

"This was one of things that I got during my venture within the Secret Realm. Though I couldn't understand the texts within the book and obtain anything certain from the Jade stone, I brought it back and showed it to my master.

And my master who dared to try understand what was written within the Book felt a strong backlash in his body causing wounds to occur, in both Soul and Body causing his cultivation at half-step to Sea Forming Realm to crumble and fall back to peak of Xuantian Realm..." he was filled with remorse as he continued, "He... my... master... MY OWN MASTER died due to these CURSED thing that I had brought back. And not only them but also many other elders from this very Monastery who tried to know of what was within died a few days later of trying to study what was happening within."

Sect Leader tighened his fists to the point blood dripped from it seeing which Elder Cang Ming appeared in front of him and said, "Stop it. That was just a mistake and nit any crime. You have already repented enough by working hard day and night to protect the sect this region from being destroyed by internal and external affairs for 200 years."

After that Elder Cang Ming takes out a Photographic jade placed beside the Jade Stone in box and as he channels energy within a video plays.

A weak and feeble person sleeping on his bed and Elder Cang Ming much younger than now sitting beside him. The Jade displayed of some of final moments of the weak and feeble person, Previous Sect Leader of 108th-Xuantian Monastery, and Elder Cang Ming from 200 years ago.

Within it the visions of few things that previous Sect Leader had told about the book being something of Ancient Era which now is shrouded by Heavenly Daos and only those who dare to defy the Will of Heavenly Daos can read. And such the projection ended with Elder Cang Ming tasked with work of taking care of Ling Yun-zi (Young) and also hiding those two Unknown items till arrival of Some Heaven-Defying personna as well the factvthat Previous Sect Leader had said, "Though I have suffered, know that mistakes are part of life's journey. Let my departure not be your burden, for what is done is done. Learn from it, grow stronger, and live with pride and diligence. Honor me not with sorrow, but by moving forward with wisdom and grace.

You are my disciple, as a son to me. Rise, my dear sword, and reveal your true brilliance to the world. Do not be suppressed by fear or doubt; forge ahead and demonstrate the greatness within you, my beloved child."

At that time a drop of tear fell from side oo cheeks of Sect Master Ling as he felt a wave of emotions hitting him. Memories flooded within his mind, emotions swirled in his heart till everything went dead silent. As everyone within the room including Elder Cang, Long Chen and Wilde stood there in silence looking at his dead-like body. Suddenly Wilde's instinct rises up and so does Long Chen's Internal Etheral Will, Wilde takes both, Elder Cang and Long Chen, out of room and a loud sound rises with intense energy within the entire abode.

The whole sect feels the energy and rushes ti the location to find Dark and Dangerous Clouds surrounding the entire Xuantian Monastery and in the air Sect Leader was floating lifeless with his sword floating in front of him while his aura was rising rapidly breaking through each minor realm.

A feeling of dread filled them except for Long Chen and his friends and lovers who had seen the tribulation Long Chen had suffered.

And as soon as Sect Leader Ling took in a breath, the dark clouds stopped widening having already grasped the entire Xuantian Monastery in it's dark shadows but instead started to grow more and more condensed and purer with Destructive Heavenly Will rising rapidly upto 50%.

However Long Chen as he had felt something told everyone of his Dragon Blood Legion to stay there in meditative form as they look at Sect Master to learn a few things.

Suddenly intense Sword Intent fills the Sky as energy soars from Sect Leader and his sword. He opens his eyes and so with it, his Sword Intent which was getting more and moe concentrated Solidifies till a sharper, more condensed Will starts to emantate from his Sword causing cracks to appear in the void.

Long Chen loks with disbelief at the sighr as he says, "Sword Essence" hearing which nit only all the members of Dragon Blood Legion but even elders fall shocked. Because awakening a Martial/Weapon Will is easy if one practices enough, Awakening the Intent is also not much difficult if one focuses by even reaching the True Intent Stage was too difficult for many Geniuses in History. However, The Stage of Essence was a whole different part with history in this continent and the entire Xuantian Dao Sect having, unbelievably, very few people who could be counted in fingers of one hand.

Looking at the sky with hateful eyes, Sect Leader yells, "So you are finally here... I suppressed myself all my life in fear for WHAT??? I feared confronting my own self and my heart due to the mistake I had done and the one who was the instigator of all was you. Just beacuse you I list everything and I feared many things."

He clenched the handle of the sword tightly and pointing tgebswird at the sky he roared, "Hmph, Heavenly Dao? You think your useless Tribulation can break me? I, and my sword, are one of the very Will that stands above the heavens. Watch as I carve through your storm, not with fear, but with the essence of my Sword! Let the world tremble, for I am the Sword, and No Heaven can shackle me!"

And in front of everyone thousands of beasts made up if lightning rained down from the sky. As most of those who had not seen a Heavenly Tribulation were look with a fearsome feeling though all of Dragon Blood Legion felt a kind of joy, an excitement due to awakening of a feeling, feeling to challenge the Heavens after having seen the brave words and actions of their Sect Leader.

Sect Leader Ling stood firm as the Heavenly Tribulation descended upon him. The first layer brought a tide of 1001 thunder-formed beasts charging with ferocious intensity. His Sword Essence sliced through them effortlessly, each strike sharper and more refined than the last, the beasts dissolving into lightning runes that ascended back into the storm.

The second layer unleashed serpentine lightning dragons that twisted around him, but Ling's sword danced with growing power, cleaving through their fiery forms.

The third trial saw a rain of electric spears, which his Sword Essence cut down before they could reach him, his strikes swift and precise.

By the fourth phase, massive titans of thunder advanced, their size towering over him. Yet, they fell as swiftly as the rest under his increasingly concentrated Sword Essence.

The fifth through seventh trials raged on with storms of chaotic thunder, spectral assassins of lightning, and waves of heavenly pressure. But with each new phase, Ling's strikes grew stronger, his Sword Essence becoming more condensed, his understanding of the Dao deepening with every battle.

By the eighth phase, lightning bolts rained down with the wrath of the heavens themselves, but his sword carved through them with ease, as his mind and blade fused into perfect harmony.

Then came the final trial—the ninth phase. From the swirling clouds emerged a projection of Sect Leader Ling himself, a mirror image made entirely of tribulation thunder. This being was not only a copy of his power but embodied the Heavenly Dao's will. The projection's sword, gleaming with the same Sword Essence, clashed with his own in a battle that shook the heavens. Every swing of their swords was met with an equal and opposite force, each clash sending shockwaves through the air. The projection was relentless, reflecting Ling's every move, his mastery, his strength. But with each strike, Ling felt his own Sword Essence consolidating further, sharpening beyond limits he had ever known.

The battle was brutal and exhausting, as the projection fought with the same level of precision and ferocity that Ling possessed. The ground trembled beneath them, and the sky groaned with the force of their clashes. Yet, with every clash, Ling grew more attuned to his sword. His strikes became not just faster or stronger, but imbued with a clarity that transcended raw power. His mind reached the pinnacle of enlightenment, and he realized the path to overcoming the Heavenly Dao itself.

In a moment of profound clarity, Sect Master Ling gathered all his remaining Sword Essence, channeling it into a final, ultimate technique. His sword glowed with an intense, almost blinding light, his voice low and resolute as he spoke the incantation:

"Gods or Demons! Heaven or Earth! Daos or Laws! Sever all that binds, and cut the void itself, Etheral Severance"

With a single, world-shattering movement, he unleashed Void Severing Strike. The blade moved so swiftly and sharply that space itself seemed to bend. The projection, an embodiment of the tribulation, was cleaved in two, its body dissolving into lightning runes that scattered back into the sky. But the strike didn't end there. The heavens above, thick with storm clouds, split apart as though they had been carved by the sword. A razor-thin line of void appeared in the sky—almost invisible to the naked eye—where the edge of Ling's blade had passed.

For a moment, the world stood still, and then the sky itself cracked, the tribulation clouds breaking apart, sending down a cascade of lightning runes like shattered stars. Sect Leader Ling stood victorious beneath the broken heavens, his sword humming with the power of the Void Severing Strike. The Tribulation of the Heavenly Daos had been severed, and the storm had no choice but to bow before his Will.

And suddenly he spoke, "I am my Will, my Weapon, and the Dao itself. No will or Dao exists before me; all are mine to command, and I transcend all that stands in my path."

The moment he spoke just like how Long Chen had once used his Spirit Energy to control tge people or send information during the Entrance Trials, Sect Leader Ling used his Spirit Energy to control all of the lightning runes along with Will of his Sword Essence and sent it all to all the Elders, Long Chen and his Dragon Blood Legion as well as other disciples of the Xuantian Monastery to help them understand his own will and make them have a deeper connection to Heavenly Daos while also not interfering much to allow all to comprehend their Daos themselves because 'One can practice the same technique and in the same way while walking in the same Dao but when both attain enlightment, their thoughts would be different and so their Path will be different.'

All the Elders fell in a deep slumber and so did the entire Dragon Blood Legion and Long Chen except for Wilde as he was unrelated to those factors. After a bit Long Chen, Yue Zifeng and Guo Ran started to shake a bit. Following whom Meng Qi, Lu Fang'er, Shi Feng, Song Ming, Chu Feng and Ye Zhuqui shook their body a bit. Their energy rising and condensing.

Even in Martial/Weapon Intent, True Intent Stage is divided into: Entry, Understanding, Will, Awakening and Manifestation.

As slowly everyone broke through the limitation, Long Chen, his buddies from his hometown, Yue Zifeng and Guo Ran were the only ones to reach the peak of Awakening while others i.e. Long Chen's lovers and the Generals of Dragon Blood Region entered the stage of Will.

And following them, one by one everyone broke out from their meditative stance having been blessed to such opportunities. Also the most amusing fact was that, all of Dragon Blood Legion were now those with Martial/Weapon Intent though most were in just the Initial Awakened Phase.

And all elders had reached the peak and could feel their cultivation able to brwakthrough further and not just with pills but by cultivation itself.

Elder Cang Ming and Tu Fang on other hand had already reached the stage of Manifestation in Martial Body Intent which meant they bith could now still at least progress to awaken the Martial Body Essence.

Everyone thanked the Sect Leader after which all of the Sect was given a day off with every one allowed to enjoy for a brilliant feast for them while also delivering the news for upcoming event to occur.

And vefore everyone headed back to the destination, Sect Leader himself gave Long Chen the Book and Jade stone with a small smile while wishing Long Chen all the best for the upcoming journey.
