Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 451: Hello There

With Carmen taking on the lead and her charisma affecting nearly everyone, OneManMedia suddenly thought of Xu Feng, wondering why he took a backseat.

To his dismay, when he tried to search for him, he failed to find his presence at all.

'The Guild Leader is gone?' Astonished, OneManMedia was about to say something, only to feel a sudden chill coming from Carmen.

Although Carmen was behaving the same, he instinctively felt a sense of foreboding when he attempted to open his mouth.

Naturally, Carmen had discerned that he had spotted something was amiss with him turning left and right. Thus, she unleashed some of her Tier 1 aura on OneManMedia as a warning.

Sure enough, OneManMedia realized his guild leader must have planned something behind the scenes again and kept his mouth shut.

"Alright, everyone follow me, and don't try to interrupt me or try anything. Otherwise, the viewers might be displeased if I suddenly lose the mood to lead any further." Carmen gently warned, using the viewers as a form of pressure to prevent similar incidents from occurring.

Unlike Xu Feng's nonchalant behavior toward their acts, mainly because he couldn't be bothered, Carmen was different. Her patience was not as high as Xu Feng's unless she was close to them.

However, with how they behaved so far, her impression of them wasn't that good.

"Shadow Blade, can you assist me?" She turned to him and asked softly.

Nodding, Zhao Kai held his gun and surprisingly retrieved a shield that he had refused to use throughout the battle.

"Since my fellow guild commander requested my assistance, I can't look too shabby, right?" He mused, returning to his earlier composure.

Previously, when they had officially entered the dungeon, Zhao Kai seemed to have switched gears completely.

He went from outgoing to a quiet and serious player. It was quite a drastic change— to the point that Carmen began to wonder which was the real him.

"Right, you're a Gun Knight." Carmen laughed charmingly as she nearly forgot he wasn't a Gunner despite his precise and fast aim.

"You put a lot of Gunners to shame with that precision shot of yours." She complimented him.

"Sigh, you don't even know what it took me to get to this level." Zhao Kai smiled bitterly and lamented his fate.

"Oh, do you mind telling me?"

"Sure, let's continue walking to the cracked fountain as we discuss."

Just like that, the two seemed to be immersed in their own world as they advanced forward regardless of whether the people behind were following them or not.

Along the way, Veronica also joined in the conversation, considering Zhao Kai's story would be good advice for her as well.

Their interaction stupefied most of them, including OneManMedia, who somehow found it difficult to chime in despite being a Vanguard guild member.

'What are they even talking about? Critical Flesh Point? Perception using mana? Mana Sight? What are those??!' OneManMedia cried inwardly as he temporarily paused the stream. He was feeling bitter when there were actually so many things that his guild leader had taught them yet neglected him thoroughly.

OneManMedia currently only felt jealous and envious of them, unaware that he wasn't trained because of his nomad playstyle.

He was constantly moving from city to city for the exclusive and juicy scoop of news to report rather than adventuring with Xu Feng in hopes of learning more. Experience new stories with My Virtual Library Empire

Hence, he only had himself to blame for not learning all these technical mechanics and skills.

A second later, OneManMedia resumed his stream at a far distance, only focusing on Carmen's face.

'I might get blasted a bit, but it was a good thing I stopped the stream earlier when I heard they were going to talk about the guild leader's teaching.' OneManMedia breathed a sigh of relief when his instinct was correct.

Based on their conversation, OneManMedia was positive that the information was supposed to be confidential, so he did not want to risk his life any further.

To ensure his life further, he even ordered the rest to not follow too closely behind the trio, having used that they would block the majestic appearance of Carmen as an excuse.

"I won't take responsibility if your face blocks Lunar Wraith and causes the viewers to be enraged." He warned solemnly before rolling his eyes at Iceheart.

Initially, he thought she was quite the beauty, but after what Xu Feng did, she became nothing but an eyesore in his eyes.

In response, Iceheart nearly wanted to swing her large Claymore sword at him for the rolling eyes.

Meanwhile, as their awkward journey continued, Xu Feng returned to the original gathering place and patiently waited for a few individuals in a discreet corner.

Thankfully, Xu Feng didn't need to wait long before a few groups of people arrived.

"Heh, it was so easy to slip away from that team of mine."

"Enough talking. We need to quickly get the job done. Activate the boss and then return to our team."

"Agreed, we'll let that bastard Lin Feng know not to act overly conceited. My spies told me that they encountered some weird Sludges and got trapped by the Burning Trail. Even heaven's on our side this time and want the Vanguard guild to fall."

These groups of people had some wearing guild emblems representing the Astral Guild. And among them, Xu Feng recognized Emberwolf who was confidently taking the lead despite his repeated humiliation.

"Hmph, that bastard insulted me repeatedly and made me a clown. But no worries. As long as this raid is ruined, he's going to start crying." Emberwolf laughed menacingly, almost as if he could already imagine Lin Feng crawling and kneeling to them.

As his laughter resounded everywhere, with zero care, mainly because he believed everyone else was busy at their respective passage, Emberwolf soon felt something was amiss.

"Why aren't you guys laughing with me?" He questioned them in anger. Such a joyous occasion should have been filled with laughter.

Yet only he was the one laughing, so he thought they had suddenly grown some conscience.

However, when he finally noticed their gaze, he followed it and his face turned ashen white upon spotting someone.

The person was none other than Xu Feng, who was leaning casually on a wall and waving at them. "Hello there!"
