Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 541: Professor Allison

As soon as Xu Feng got out of his gaming capsule, he glanced at his Smartwatch.

There were quite a few notifications that had stacked up, with one being quite a surprise.

Kingston School.

Because he no longer cared about the Kingston School after getting rid of a bane of society, Dean Qiao, he had not gone to classes once.

By that chronological order, some of the professors had finally been restless and began asking if he was doing well or if he met with some trouble.

For these types of professors, Xu Feng simply ignored them. Without a doubt, they were putting up an act to avoid being put on the chopping board by Ning Yi's father, Ning Huo.

With Dean Qiao's inevitable demise, followed by his ending of being killed while in prison. Some of these professors who weren't that great in general, but not at the level of Dean Qiao in terms of notoriety, were quickly trying to pretend to be honorable and caring for the students.

Just when Xu Feng was about to bulk delete and put them all in spam, he was left stunned by a particular professor's name.

'Huh? When did she transfer to Kingston School?' Upon recognizing a professor called Allison Brooke, he was startled briefly.

If his mind recalled correctly, Allison Brooke should have still been teaching at a second-graded City, Luminous.

But that wasn't the reason for his startlement, but rather the fact that he had once become a student under her during his past timeline when Dean Qiao's crime was exposed at a much later year.

Of all the professors he encountered, she could be said to be the most annoying yet sincerely caring for her students.

Though they did have a fallout in the very end when she could no longer stand the sight of him because of his position in the Reaver Guild.

"This is probably another butterfly effect from Dean Qiao's fate huh." Xu Feng muttered, opening her message and wondering how she knew his number.

After all, he had swapped it to something else to completely disregard his past and start afresh with this newfound opportunity. This was also why he didn't even attend any classes at Kingston School because they were nothing but a scam.

You won't get rich attending school at all. The only thing you got out of it was being broke and in debt.

The school was simply another network to build up connections, but Xu Feng didn't need those ridiculous connections.

As Xu Feng opened the message, he was rendered speechless by it.

Allison: Hello, Student Xu Feng. I'm the newly hired Professor for the Kingston School, and I know you're one of the affected students by the heinous Dean Qiao. I understand that the incident might have caused you distress, but I hope that it won't hinder your motivation to strive to be better. If you see this message, please reply so I can set up a meeting with you in the school.

The message should have been an automated version sent to all affected students, with only the name changed, but what caused him to be speechless was how fast Allison had noticed he had read the message.

In the split second he opened the message, Allison actually sent another message, clearly happy.

Allison: Glad to see you reading the message. Right now isn't school time, but I still hope to meet with you. How about meeting at the Starlight Cafe on Hushing Avenue sound? It's more informal there so you won't have to feel nervous.

"Okay, time to ignore her." Xu Feng closed the message without hesitation.

As if he had the time to meet with a "professor", especially when it involved Allison. Without a doubt, a fierce and clashing argument would commence between them if he did show up for the meeting.

Since that was the case, it was better to not meet, to begin with.

Unfortunately, it appeared that Allison was one persistent professor who would stop at nothing.

Despite Xu Feng closing the message, notifications kept popping up, and when he decided to block her, she would swap to another phone to message him. Enjoy new tales from My Virtual Library Empire

Frustrated, he chose the ultimate move that most people used: Turning Off Notifications and any unauthorized senders.

Sure enough, with the notification turned off and the blockade of non-authorized senders to give him a message, he felt the world became quieter.

"I didn't expect her to be that persistent in her younger days." Xu Feng scratched his head, seemingly exhausted by this small instance.

Sighing softly, Xu Feng was about to contact OneManMedia to begin a new recruitment process that the Vanguard Guild was seeking talented individuals until he received a phone call— this time from Ning Yi.

Picking up the call, Xu Feng didn't even get to talk when Ning Yi started mouthing off.

"Brother Feng, I beg you to please respond to Professor Allison. If you don't, then I'm going to be ruined. You have to do it for this little brother!"

Based on the tone alone, it was almost as if Ning Yi was physically in front of him, tearing up and kneeling on the ground.

Nevertheless, Xu Feng remained unfazed by it and asked, "Why would you be ruined? And I suppose Professor Allison knows about my numbers because you gave it to her."

"Yes, she pestered me into giving you her numbers, but that's not the worst part. Apparently, Professor Allison had tutored Catherine in the past…" As Ning Yi trailed off from there, it became evident that he didn't want to be reminded of the horror when confronted by Catherine.

Meanwhile, Xu Feng came to understand the gist of the situation. This damn Ning Yi sold him out because Allison used Catherine as a threat.

"Stop being such a simp!" Xu Feng flatly called out and was about to end the call.

However, Ning Yi also seemed to understand that crying or tearing up wouldn't help much either as he brought up an enticing offer.

"Wait a minute, Brother Feng. I know you must have been lacking talented managers, so why don't I give you a venue to recruit and search for them? It will all be under my cost and you only need to sit and wait to see whoever is qualified."
