Phone rings and Dr. Taylor attends the phone

Kai made a phone call to Dr. Taylor, "I need to talk to you about something important. Can we meet in person?"

Dr. Taylor with moments of thinking agreed, and they met at a restaurant.

"I'm Kai, by the way," he said, extending his hand. Dr. Taylor shook it, "I'm Dr. Taylor. Nice to meet you, Kai. What's this about?"

Kai shows Dr. Taylor a remote

Kai explained, "I found this remote control a month ago while riding my cycle through the mountains. I fell off and stumbled upon a secret lab."

Dr. Taylor raised an eyebrow, "A secret lab? What makes you think it's secret?"

Kai showed her the remote, "This was inside. The book that came with it said it could access different dimensions."

Dr. Taylor's expression changed, "Let me see that." She took the remote and examined it. "Elysium... I feel like I've seen this before, but I don't know where."

Kai explained, "The book said that the numbers on the remote denote different dimensions, the source helps switch between worlds, and the menu allows me to reshape myself."

Dr. Taylor looked at him, "You've been using this? What have you experienced?"

Kai replied, "I've seen some amazing things, but I've also been getting a weird feeling, like something's following me."

Dr. Taylor's eyes narrowed, "I think we need to talk more about this. Can you take me to the lab where you found it?"

Kai nodded, "Yeah, I can take you there."

As they drove to the lab, Dr. Taylor asked, "So, Kai, what do you know about this remote? Have you noticed anything strange about it?"

Kai: "Dr. Taylor, I've seen some weird things with this remote. I've been to other worlds and dimensions."

Dr. Taylor: "What kind of things have you seen?"

Kai: "Creatures, beings... I don't even know how to describe them. They're not from our world."

Dr. Taylor: "Go on."

Kai: "I've seen things that can't be explained. And I've started to feel like I'm being followed, like something is watching me from the other side."

Kai "But I've also noticed that sometimes the remote seems to... glitch, I guess. Like it's trying to tell me something."

Dr. Taylor's eyes lit up with interest, "That's fascinating. I think we're just starting to scratch the surface of what this remote can do."

As they reached the mountain they searched for the lab but couldn't find it

Kai: "I'm sure I found it here. I remember this room, this equipment..."

Dr. Taylor: "Let's take a closer look. Maybe there's something we're missing."

Kai: "I've been over every inch of this room. I don't see anything."

Dr. Taylor: "Maybe it's hidden. Or maybe it's not here at all."

Kai: "No, I'm positive I found it here. I remember the feeling of the remote in my hand..."

Dr. Taylor: "Okay, let's think this through. You said you fell off your bike and stumbled upon the lab. Maybe you hit your head and-"

Kai: "No, I'm sure I didn't imagine it. I know what I saw."

Dr. Taylor: "Okay, okay. Let's keep looking. There has to be something here."

When they finally found the lab, they searched for any clues, but found nothing.

Dr. Taylor spotted a cupboard, "What's that?" Kai opened it, and they found a record.

Dr. Taylor's eyes lit up, "This might be what we're looking for." As they tried to play the record, the machine whirred to life...
