After that, El whistled loudly with both fingers of his left hand, summoning Xiao Yi Xian who was flying on Xiao Lan.

Xiao Lan landed immediately, and El immediately boarded that Magic Beast, sitting behind Xiao Yi Xian. With nimble movements, Xiao Lan's wings lifted up, taking them flying high to leave the Wolfhead Mercenary headquarters.

"I saw everything from above," Xiao Yi Xian said as she looked down. "You were really ruthless and could have killed them. But, why were the remaining ones left alive?"

El snorted softly, a slightly joking voice coming out. "Ji didn't expect, it turns out Xiao Yi is also quite ruthless. Want Ji to kill them all?"

Xiao Yi Xian looked a little exasperated, and replied in a sharp tone, "That's not it, I mean they could have revenge, you know?"

"Take it easy, they won't dare," El replied briefly and confidently.

"Hmph." Xiao Yi Xian snorted softly. "You're so sure they won't take revenge. Just be careful if they do, I'll beat you up!"

However, uncontrollably, El's hand moved on its own. He took a slow breath, slowly wrapping his hands around Xiao Yi Xian's slender waist.

Xiao Yi Xian's heartbeat grew louder, her face turning even redder. "Not here... You'll fall..."

Hearing that, El frowned, as if thinking for a moment. "Does that mean Ji can do it?"

El remained silent, letting Xiao Yi Xian continue her tirade. But for some reason, his mind drifted to the little girl, Kayo Senju, who often nagged.

'Because of the different timelines... What is she doing now, huh?' El thought. 'Does Kayo still heed my warnings?'

On the other hand, Xiao Lan, the blue eagle flying below them, sighed with an expression as if the Magic Beast felt unnoticed.

Throughout the night, El and Xiao Yi Xian rode on Xiao Lan, eliminating even the small bases of the remaining Wolfhead Mercenary members.

This action was requested by Xiao Yi Xian to El in order to prevent any possible revenge after the death of the Wolfhead leaders.

This seemed excessive to El, but he did it anyway for Xiao Yi Xian's peace of mind.

After a full night of destroying base after base, passing through dense forests and several small mountains, the morning sun finally greeted them.

They arrived at a valley that exuded natural beauty. A wooden house stood firmly amidst a carpet of purple-leaved plum trees, lavender flowers, and various medicinal plants that thrived around it.

The environment in the valley was cool and beautiful, with fresh air and the sound of water gurgling from a small, clear lake.

A few deer were seen grazing on the grass around the lake, adding to the beauty of the place.

Xiao Lan finally landed on a small island-like plain with rocks as a bridge, just across from the wooden house.

The gentle morning breeze carries the scent of flowers and leaves, making the atmosphere in the place so peaceful.

El jumped down first from Xiao Lan's back, followed by Xiao Yi Xian. After stroking Xiao Lan's head, El walks a little further away, observing the surroundings while activating Rinnegan.

He noticed the flow of Dou Qi in the area, which felt pure and untouched.

"The Dou Qi here is amazing," El thought as he deactivated his Rinnegan. "Good for cultivation, but it could make my control more complicated later."

Xiao Yi Xian walked over to El, tapping him on the shoulder, making him turn his head. She smiled warmly as she said, "This place is amazing, right? There are some rare poison plants growing here, I happen to be in need of them."

'And, there is one thing I need from you.' Xiao Yi Xian thought with a meaningful expression. 'You might be my only hope.'

After that, Xiao Yi Xian walked past El, making his twist and body to follow her movements.

Xiao Yi Xian stopped in front of El, bowing slightly as she continued, "This place was discovered by Xiao Lan by accident. Even Mr. Yao doesn't know about this place."

She stood up straight again, turned gracefully, then pointed to the wooden house across the small plain. "I believe this is the relic of a practitioner from the past," she said, looking back at El. "What do you think?"

El crossed his arms, his eyes narrowed as if in serious thought, before grinning faintly. "Away from the crowds... Xiao Yi can sigh to his heart's content here without fear of others hearing," she said in a teasing tone.

Xiao Yi Xian instantly gasped, her face turning red. "M-moaning? What do you mean, you pervert!" she exclaimed as she lightly hit El's arm.

El chuckled, raising his hand as if giving up. "Take it easy, Ji was just joking. But, this place is really nice."

Xiao Yi Xian gave a small snort, running towards the rocks arranged above the small river. She jumped from one rock to another nimbly, trying to move away to cover her flushed face.

"Hump! If I know you are like this, I should just ask Xiao Yan to accompany me," she muttered in a half-annoyed tone, though her face still looked embarrassed.

While still avoiding El's gaze, she added in a low voice, "You perverted man... I hate you so much."

El just stood still, his gaze cold yet calm, watching Xiao Yi Xian's every move, let alone replying to those words.

He just stood still, observing how she tried to keep her distance while jumping up and down on the rocks.

After a while, Xiao Yi Xian almost reached the other side. El finally opened his mouth, his voice cold without emotion, "Xiao Yi, wait for me."

Xiao Yi Xian paused for a moment, turning her head with a teasing smile. "Wait? What for, you pervert," she retorted in a playful tone. She then quickened her pace, waving at El. "Chase me if you can."

El stood still, letting out a long sigh. However, Xiao Yi Xian suddenly staggered. She held her forehead, her body losing balance.

Without thinking, El moved quickly, catching her shoulder before she fell. Just then, his nose caught the faint yet piercing scent of poison.

El frowned, his voice remained cold, but there was a worried tone behind his words. "Your poison body... Has it perhaps reached its limit? That's why you brought me to this valley, away from the crowds."

Xiao Yi Xian, who was now leaning in El's arms, nodded weakly. Her face was pale, cold sweat beading on her forehead. "I'm just tired," she replied softly. "Although I can continue to withstand the turmoil of the poison in my body, but... I don't know when it will explode."

She looked at El with a tired yet trusting gaze. "Your immunity to poison... may be my only hope. I'm willing to do anything. Please help me, Ji Lan. If that's what you want, I'll give up everything... even become your slave."
